שָׂ֣ם He placed śām הַבָּשָׂר֙ the meat hab·bā·śār בַּסַּ֔ל in a basket bas·sal וְהַמָּרַ֖ק and the broth wə·ham·mā·raq שָׂ֣ם . . . śām בַּפָּר֑וּר in a pot bap·pā·rūr וַיּוֹצֵ֥א and brought them out way·yō·w·ṣê וַיַּגַּֽשׁ׃ס to present way·yag·gaš אֵלָ֛יו to Him ’ê·lāw אֶל־ ’el- תַּ֥חַת under ta·ḥaṯ הָאֵלָ֖ה the oak . hā·’ê·lāh Judges 6:20 מַלְאַ֣ךְ And the angel mal·’aḵ הָאֱלֹהִ֗ים of God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֵלָ֜יו to him , ’ê·lāw קַ֣ח “ Take qaḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַבָּשָׂ֤ר the meat hab·bā·śār וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- הַמַּצּוֹת֙ the unleavened bread , ham·maṣ·ṣō·wṯ וְהַנַּח֙ lay [them] wə·han·naḥ אֶל־ on ’el- הַלָּ֔ז this hal·lāz הַסֶּ֣לַע rock , has·se·la‘ וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- שְׁפ֑וֹךְ pour out šə·p̄ō·wḵ הַמָּרַ֖ק the broth . ” ham·mā·raq וַיַּ֖עַשׂ And [Gideon] did way·ya·‘aś כֵּֽן׃ so . kên Judges 6:21 מַלְאַ֣ךְ Then the angel mal·’aḵ יְהוָ֗ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּשְׁלַ֞ח extended way·yiš·laḥ קְצֵ֤ה the tip qə·ṣêh הַמִּשְׁעֶ֙נֶת֙ of the staff ham·miš·‘e·neṯ אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer בְּיָד֔וֹ was in his hand bə·yā·ḏōw וַיִּגַּ֥ע and touched way·yig·ga‘ בַּבָּשָׂ֖ר the meat bab·bā·śār וּבַמַּצּ֑וֹת and the unleavened bread . ū·ḇam·maṣ·ṣō·wṯ הָאֵ֜שׁ And fire hā·’êš וַתַּ֨עַל flared wat·ta·‘al מִן־ from min- הַצּ֗וּר the rock haṣ·ṣūr וַתֹּ֤אכַל and consumed wat·tō·ḵal אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַבָּשָׂר֙ the meat hab·bā·śār וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַמַּצּ֔וֹת and the unleavened bread . ham·maṣ·ṣō·wṯ וּמַלְאַ֣ךְ Then the angel ū·mal·’aḵ יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh הָלַ֖ךְ vanished hā·laḵ מֵעֵינָֽיו׃ from his sight . mê·‘ê·nāw Judges 6:22 גִּדְע֔וֹן When Gideon giḏ·‘ō·wn וַיַּ֣רְא realized way·yar כִּֽי־ that kî- ה֑וּאס it [was] hūs מַלְאַ֥ךְ the angel mal·’aḵ יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH , Yah·weh גִּדְע֗וֹן he giḏ·‘ō·wn וַיֹּ֣אמֶר said , way·yō·mer אֲהָהּ֙ “ Oh no , ’ă·hāh אֲדֹנָ֣י Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH ! Yah·weh כִּֽי־ . . . kî- עַל־ . . . ‘al- כֵּ֤ן . . . kên רָאִ֙יתִי֙ I have seen rā·’î·ṯî מַלְאַ֣ךְ the angel mal·’aḵ יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh פָּנִ֖ים face pā·nîm אֶל־ to ’el- פָּנִֽים׃ face ! ” pā·nîm Judges 6:23 יְהוָ֛ה But YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer ל֧וֹ to him , lōw שָׁל֥וֹם “ Peace [be] šā·lō·wm לְךָ֖ with you . lə·ḵā אַל־ Do not ’al- תִּירָ֑א be afraid , tî·rā לֹ֖א for you will not lō תָּמֽוּת׃ die . ” tā·mūṯ Judges 6:24 גִּדְע֤וֹן So Gideon giḏ·‘ō·wn וַיִּבֶן֩ built way·yi·ḇen
