מִזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ an altar miz·bê·aḥ לַֽיהוָ֔ה to YHWH Yah·weh שָׁ֨ם there šām וַיִּקְרָא־ and called way·yiq·rā- ל֥וֹ it lōw יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh שָׁל֑וֹם Is Peace . šā·lō·wm עַ֚ד To ‘aḏ הַזֶּ֔ה this haz·zeh הַיּ֣וֹם day hay·yō·wm עוֹדֶ֕נּוּ it stands ‘ō·w·ḏen·nū בְּעָפְרָ֖ת in Ophrah bə·‘ā·p̄ə·rāṯ אֲבִ֥י vvv ’ă·ḇî הָעֶזְרִֽי׃פ of the Abiezrites . hā·‘ez·rî Judges 6:25 וַיְהִי֮ - way·hî הַהוּא֒ On that very ha·hū בַּלַּ֣יְלָה night bal·lay·lāh יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֧אמֶר said way·yō·mer ל֣וֹ to [Gideon] , lōw קַ֤ח “ Take qaḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- לְאָבִ֔יךָ your father’s lə·’ā·ḇî·ḵā פַּר־ young bull par- הַשּׁוֹר֙ . . . haš·šō·wr אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer הַשֵּׁנִ֖י and a second haš·šê·nî וּפַ֥ר bull ū·p̄ar שֶׁ֣בַע seven še·ḇa‘ שָׁנִ֑ים years old , šā·nîm וְהָרַסְתָּ֗ tear down wə·hā·ras·tā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- לְאָבִ֔יךָ your father’s lə·’ā·ḇî·ḵā מִזְבַּ֤ח altar miz·baḥ הַבַּ֙עַל֙ to Baal , hab·ba·‘al אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- תִּכְרֹֽת׃ and cut down tiḵ·rōṯ הָאֲשֵׁרָ֥ה the Asherah pole hā·’ă·šê·rāh אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- עָלָ֖יו beside it . ‘ā·lāw Judges 6:26 וּבָנִ֨יתָ Then build ū·ḇā·nî·ṯā בַּמַּֽעֲרָכָ֑ה a proper bam·ma·‘ă·rā·ḵāh מִזְבֵּ֜חַ altar miz·bê·aḥ לַיהוָ֣ה to YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā עַ֣ל on ‘al רֹ֧אשׁ the top rōš הַזֶּ֖ה of this haz·zeh הַמָּע֛וֹז stronghold . ham·mā·‘ō·wz בַּעֲצֵ֥י And with the wood ba·‘ă·ṣê הָאֲשֵׁרָ֖ה of the Asherah pole hā·’ă·šê·rāh אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer תִּכְרֹֽת׃ you cut down , tiḵ·rōṯ וְלָֽקַחְתָּ֙ take wə·lā·qaḥ·tā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַשֵּׁנִ֔י the second haš·šê·nî הַפָּ֣ר bull hap·pār וְהַעֲלִ֣יתָ and offer wə·ha·‘ă·lî·ṯā עוֹלָ֔ה it as a burnt offering . ” ‘ō·w·lāh Judges 6:27 גִּדְע֜וֹן So Gideon giḏ·‘ō·wn וַיִּקַּ֨ח took way·yiq·qaḥ עֲשָׂרָ֤ה ten ‘ă·śā·rāh אֲנָשִׁים֙ vvv ’ă·nā·šîm מֵֽעֲבָדָ֔יו of his servants mê·‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw וַיַּ֕עַשׂ and did way·ya·‘aś כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר as ka·’ă·šer יְהוָ֑ה YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֡י . . . way·hî דִּבֶּ֥ר had told him . dib·ber אֵלָ֖יו . . . ’ê·lāw כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר But because ka·’ă·šer יָרֵא֩ he was too afraid yā·rê אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אָבִ֜יו of his father’s ’ā·ḇîw בֵּ֨ית household bêṯ וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- אַנְשֵׁ֥י the men ’an·šê הָעִ֛יר of the city , hā·‘îr וַיַּ֥עַשׂ he did [it] way·ya·‘aś לָֽיְלָה׃ by night lā·yə·lāh מֵעֲשׂ֥וֹת [rather than] mê·‘ă·śō·wṯ יוֹמָ֖ם in the daytime . yō·w·mām Judges 6:28 אַנְשֵׁ֤י When the men ’an·šê הָעִיר֙ of the city hā·‘îr וַיַּשְׁכִּ֜ימוּ got up way·yaš·kî·mū בַּבֹּ֔קֶר in the morning , bab·bō·qer וְהִנֵּ֤ה there was wə·hin·nêh
