חֲדָשִׁ֔ים new ḥă·ḏā·šîm אֱלֹהִ֣ים gods , ’ĕ·lō·hîm אָ֖ז then ’āz לָחֶ֣ם war lā·ḥem שְׁעָרִ֑ים came to their gates . šə·‘ā·rîm אִם־ Not ’im- מָגֵ֤ן a shield mā·ḡên וָרֹ֔מַח or spear wā·rō·maḥ יֵֽרָאֶה֙ was found yê·rā·’eh בְּאַרְבָּעִ֥ים among forty bə·’ar·bā·‘îm אֶ֖לֶף thousand ’e·lep̄ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ in Israel . bə·yiś·rā·’êl Judges 5:9 לִבִּי֙ My heart lib·bî לְחוֹקְקֵ֣י is with the princes lə·ḥō·wq·qê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl הַמִּֽתְנַדְּבִ֖ים with the volunteers ham·miṯ·nad·də·ḇîm בָּעָ֑ם among the people . bā·‘ām בָּרֲכ֖וּ Bless bā·ră·ḵū יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH ! Yah·weh Judges 5:10 רֹכְבֵי֩ You who ride rō·ḵə·ḇê צְחֹר֜וֹת white ṣə·ḥō·rō·wṯ אֲתֹנ֨וֹת donkeys , ’ă·ṯō·nō·wṯ יֹשְׁבֵ֧י who sit yō·šə·ḇê עַל־ on ‘al- מִדִּ֛ין saddle blankets , mid·dîn וְהֹלְכֵ֥י and you who travel wə·hō·lə·ḵê עַל־ . . . ‘al- דֶּ֖רֶךְ the road , de·reḵ שִֽׂיחוּ׃ ponder śî·ḥū Judges 5:11 מִקּ֣וֹל the voices miq·qō·wl מְחַֽצְצִ֗ים of the singers mə·ḥaṣ·ṣîm בֵּ֚ין at bên מַשְׁאַבִּ֔ים the watering places . maš·’ab·bîm שָׁ֤ם There šām יְתַנּוּ֙ they shall recount yə·ṯan·nū צִדְק֣וֹת the righteous acts ṣiḏ·qō·wṯ יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH , Yah·weh צִדְקֹ֥ת the righteous deeds ṣiḏ·qōṯ פִּרְזֹנ֖וֹ of His villagers pir·zō·nōw בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל in Israel . bə·yiś·rā·’êl אָ֛ז Then ’āz עַם־ the people ‘am- יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH Yah·weh יָרְד֥וּ went down yā·rə·ḏū לַשְּׁעָרִ֖ים to the gates : laš·šə·‘ā·rîm Judges 5:12 עוּרִ֤י ‘ Awake , ‘ū·rî עוּרִי֙ awake , ‘ū·rî דְּבוֹרָ֔ה O Deborah ! də·ḇō·w·rāh ע֥וּרִי Awake , ‘ū·rî ע֖וּרִי awake , ‘ū·rî דַּבְּרִי־ sing dab·bə·rî- שִׁ֑יר a song ! šîr ק֥וּם Arise , qūm בָּרָ֛ק O Barak , bā·rāq שֶׁבְיְךָ֖ and take hold of šeḇ·yə·ḵā וּֽשֲׁבֵ֥ה your captives , ū·šă·ḇêh בֶּן־ O son ben- אֲבִינֹֽעַם׃ of Abinoam ! ’ ’ă·ḇî·nō·‘am Judges 5:13 אָ֚ז Then ’āz שָׂרִ֔יד the survivors śā·rîḏ יְרַ֣ד came down yə·raḏ לְאַדִּירִ֖ים to the nobles ; lə·’ad·dî·rîm עָ֑ם the people ‘ām יְהוָ֕ה of YHWH Yah·weh יְרַד־ came down yə·raḏ- לִ֖י to me lî בַּגִּבּוֹרִֽים׃ against the mighty . bag·gib·bō·w·rîm Judges 5:14 מִנִּ֣י Some came from min·nî אֶפְרַ֗יִם Ephraim , ’ep̄·ra·yim שָׁרְשָׁם֙ with their roots šā·rə·šām בַּעֲמָלֵ֔ק in Amalek ; ba·‘ă·mā·lêq בִנְיָמִ֖ין Benjamin ḇin·yā·mîn בַּֽעֲמָמֶ֑יךָ came with your people ba·‘ă·mā·me·ḵā אַחֲרֶ֥יךָ after you . ’a·ḥă·re·ḵā מְחֹ֣קְקִ֔ים The commanders mə·ḥō·qə·qîm יָֽרְדוּ֙ came down yā·rə·ḏū מִנִּ֣י from min·nî מָכִ֗יר Machir , mā·ḵîr מֹשְׁכִ֖ים the bearers mō·šə·ḵîm סֹפֵֽר׃ of the marshal’s sō·p̄êr בְּשֵׁ֥בֶט staff bə·šê·ḇeṭ וּמִ֨זְּבוּלֻ֔ן from Zebulun . ū·miz·zə·ḇū·lun
