גּוֹיִ֖ם nations gō·w·yim מִפְּנֵיכֶ֔ם before you , mip·pə·nê·ḵem עַ֖ד and to ‘aḏ הַזֶּֽה׃ this haz·zeh הַיּ֥וֹם day hay·yō·wm לֹא־ no lō- אִישׁ֙ one ’îš עָ֤מַד can stand ‘ā·maḏ בִּפְנֵיכֶ֔ם against you . bip̄·nê·ḵem Joshua 23:10 אִישׁ־ vvv ’îš- אֶחָ֥ד One ’e·ḥāḏ מִכֶּ֖ם of you mik·kem יִרְדָּף־ can put yir·dāp̄- אָ֑לֶף a thousand {to flight} , ’ā·lep̄ כִּ֣י׀ because kî יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֗ם your God ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem ה֚וּא . . . hū הַנִּלְחָ֣ם fights han·nil·ḥām לָכֶ֔ם for you , lā·ḵem כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר just as ka·’ă·šer דִּבֶּ֥ר He promised dib·ber לָכֶֽם׃ . lā·ḵem Joshua 23:11 וְנִשְׁמַרְתֶּ֥ם Therefore watch wə·niš·mar·tem לְנַפְשֹֽׁתֵיכֶ֑ם yourselves lə·nap̄·šō·ṯê·ḵem מְאֹ֖ד carefully , mə·’ōḏ לְאַהֲבָ֖ה that you love lə·’a·hă·ḇāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ your God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem Joshua 23:12 כִּ֣י׀ For kî אִם־ if ’im- שׁ֣וֹב you turn away šō·wḇ תָּשׁ֗וּבוּ . . . tā·šū·ḇū וּדְבַקְתֶּם֙ and cling ū·ḏə·ḇaq·tem בְּיֶ֙תֶר֙ to the rest bə·ye·ṯer הָאֵ֔לֶּה of these hā·’êl·leh הַגּוֹיִ֣ם nations hag·gō·w·yim הַנִּשְׁאָרִ֥ים that remain han·niš·’ā·rîm הָאֵ֖לֶּה . . . hā·’êl·leh אִתְּכֶ֑ם among you , ’it·tə·ḵem וְהִֽתְחַתַּנְתֶּ֥ם and if you intermarry wə·hiṯ·ḥat·tan·tem בָּהֶ֛ם bā·hem וּבָאתֶ֥ם and associate ū·ḇā·ṯem בָּהֶ֖ם bā·hem וְהֵ֥ם with them wə·hêm בָּכֶֽם׃ , bā·ḵem Joshua 23:13 יָד֙וֹעַ֙ know for sure yā·ḏō·w·a‘ תֵּֽדְע֔וּ . . . tê·ḏə·‘ū כִּי֩ that kî יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֗ם your God ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem לֹ֨א will no lō יוֹסִ֜יף longer yō·w·sîp̄ לְהוֹרִ֛ישׁ drive out lə·hō·w·rîš הָאֵ֖לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh הַגּוֹיִ֥ם nations hag·gō·w·yim אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מִלִּפְנֵיכֶ֑ם before you . mil·lip̄·nê·ḵem וְהָי֨וּ Instead, they will become wə·hā·yū לָכֶ֜ם for you lā·ḵem לְפַ֣ח a snare lə·p̄aḥ וּלְמוֹקֵ֗שׁ and a trap , ū·lə·mō·w·qêš וּלְשֹׁטֵ֤ט a scourge ū·lə·šō·ṭêṭ בְּצִדֵּיכֶם֙ in your sides bə·ṣid·dê·ḵem וְלִצְנִנִ֣ים and thorns wə·liṣ·ni·nîm בְּעֵינֵיכֶ֔ם in your eyes , bə·‘ê·nê·ḵem עַד־ until ‘aḏ- אֲבָדְכֶ֗ם you perish ’ă·ḇā·ḏə·ḵem מֵ֠עַל from mê·‘al הַזֹּ֔את this haz·zōṯ הַטּוֹבָה֙ good haṭ·ṭō·w·ḇāh הָאֲדָמָ֤ה land hā·’ă·ḏā·māh אֲשֶׁר֙ that ’ă·šer יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ your God ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem נָתַ֣ן has given nā·ṯan לָכֶ֔ם you . lā·ḵem Joshua 23:14 וְהִנֵּ֨ה Now behold , wə·hin·nêh הַיּ֔וֹם today hay·yō·wm אָנֹכִ֤י I ’ā·nō·ḵî הוֹלֵךְ֙ am going hō·w·lêḵ בְּדֶ֖רֶךְ the way bə·ḏe·reḵ כָּל־ of all kāl- הָאָ֑רֶץ the earth , hā·’ā·reṣ
