Genesis 24:30 וַיְהִ֣י׀ - way·hî כִּרְאֹ֣ת As soon as he saw kir·’ōṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַנֶּ֗זֶם the ring , han·ne·zem וְֽאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- הַצְּמִדִים֮ the bracelets haṣ·ṣə·mi·ḏîm עַל־ on ‘al- אֲחֹתוֹ֒ his sister’s ’ă·ḥō·ṯōw יְדֵ֣י wrists , yə·ḏê וּכְשָׁמְע֗וֹ and heard ū·ḵə·šā·mə·‘ōw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲחֹתוֹ֙ - ’ă·ḥō·ṯōw לֵאמֹ֔ר . . . lê·mōr רִבְקָ֤ה Rebekah’s riḇ·qāh דִּבְרֵ֞י words , diḇ·rê הָאִ֑ישׁ “ The man hā·’îš דִבֶּ֥ר said ḏib·ber כֹּֽה־ this kōh- אֵלַ֖י to me ,” ’ê·lay וַיָּבֹא֙ he went and found way·yā·ḇō אֶל־ - ’el- הָאִ֔ישׁ the man hā·’îš עֹמֵ֥ד standing ‘ō·mêḏ וְהִנֵּ֛ה - wə·hin·nêh עַל־ by ‘al- הַגְּמַלִּ֖ים the camels hag·gə·mal·lîm עַל־ near ‘al- הָעָֽיִן׃ the spring . hā·‘ā·yin Genesis 24:31 בּ֖וֹא “ Come , bō·w בְּר֣וּךְ you who are blessed bə·rūḵ יְהוָ֑ה by YHWH , ” Yah·weh וַיֹּ֕אמֶר said Laban . way·yō·mer לָ֤מָּה “ Why lām·māh תַעֲמֹד֙ are you standing ṯa·‘ă·mōḏ בַּח֔וּץ out here ? ba·ḥūṣ וְאָנֹכִי֙ I wə·’ā·nō·ḵî פִּנִּ֣יתִי have prepared pin·nî·ṯî הַבַּ֔יִת the house hab·ba·yiṯ וּמָק֖וֹם and a place ū·mā·qō·wm לַגְּמַלִּֽים׃ for the camels . ” lag·gə·mal·lîm Genesis 24:32 הָאִישׁ֙ So the man hā·’îš וַיָּבֹ֤א came way·yā·ḇō הַבַּ֔יְתָה to the house , hab·bay·ṯāh הַגְּמַלִּ֑ים and the camels hag·gə·mal·lîm וַיְפַתַּ֖ח were unloaded . way·p̄at·taḥ תֶּ֤בֶן Straw te·ḇen וּמִסְפּוֹא֙ and feed ū·mis·pō·w וַיִּתֵּ֨ן were brought way·yit·tên לַגְּמַלִּ֔ים to the camels , lag·gə·mal·lîm וּמַ֙יִם֙ and water ū·ma·yim לִרְחֹ֣ץ to wash lir·ḥōṣ רַגְלָ֔יו his feet raḡ·lāw וְרַגְלֵ֥י and the feet wə·raḡ·lê הָאֲנָשִׁ֖ים of his companions hā·’ă·nā·šîm אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer אִתּֽוֹ׃ - . ’it·tōw Genesis 24:33 וַיִּישֶׂם Then a meal was set way·yī·śɛm לְפָנָיו֙ before [the man] , lə·p̄ā·nāw וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ but he said , way·yō·mer לֹ֣א “ I will not lō אֹכַ֔ל . . . ’ō·ḵal לֶאֱכֹ֔ל eat le·’ĕ·ḵōl עַ֥ד until ‘aḏ אִם־ . . . ’im- דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי I have told you dib·bar·tî דְּבָרָ֑י what I came to say . ” də·ḇā·rāy וַיֹּ֖אמֶר So Laban said , way·yō·mer דַּבֵּֽר׃ “ Please speak . ” dab·bêr Genesis 24:34 אָנֹֽכִי׃ “ I ’ā·nō·ḵî אַבְרָהָ֖ם am Abraham’s ’aḇ·rā·hām עֶ֥בֶד servant , ” ‘e·ḇeḏ וַיֹּאמַ֑ר he replied . way·yō·mar Genesis 24:35 וַיהוָ֞ה “ YHWH Yah·weh מְאֹ֖ד has greatly mə·’ōḏ בֵּרַ֧ךְ blessed bê·raḵ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲדֹנִ֛י my master , ’ă·ḏō·nî וַיִּגְדָּ֑ל and he has become rich . way·yiḡ·dāl וַיִּתֶּן־ He has given way·yit·ten- ל֞וֹ him lōw צֹ֤אן sheep ṣōn וּבָקָר֙ and cattle , ū·ḇā·qār וְכֶ֣סֶף silver wə·ḵe·sep̄
