אֶת־ as well as ’eṯ- הַצְּמֵאָֽה׃ the dry . haṣ·ṣə·mê·’āh Deuteronomy 29:20 יְהוָה֮ YHWH Yah·weh לֹא־ will never lō- יֹאבֶ֣ה be willing yō·ḇeh סְלֹ֣חַֽ to forgive sə·lō·aḥ לוֹ֒ him . lōw כִּ֣י Instead , kî אָ֠ז . . . ’āz יְהוָ֤ה [His] Yah·weh אַף־ anger ’ap̄- וְקִנְאָתוֹ֙ and jealousy wə·qin·’ā·ṯōw יֶעְשַׁ֨ן will burn ye‘·šan הַה֔וּא against that ha·hū בָּאִ֣ישׁ man , bā·’îš כָּל־ and every kāl- הָ֣אָלָ֔ה curse hā·’ā·lāh הַכְּתוּבָ֖ה written hak·kə·ṯū·ḇāh הַזֶּ֑ה in this haz·zeh בַּסֵּ֣פֶר book bas·sê·p̄er וְרָ֤בְצָה will fall wə·rā·ḇə·ṣāh בּוֹ֙ upon him . bōw יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וּמָחָ֤ה will blot out ū·mā·ḥāh שְׁמ֔וֹ his name šə·mōw מִתַּ֖חַת from under mit·ta·ḥaṯ הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ heaven haš·šā·mā·yim Deuteronomy 29:21 וְהִבְדִּיל֤וֹ and single him out wə·hiḇ·dî·lōw יְהוָה֙ . . . Yah·weh מִכֹּ֖ל from all mik·kōl שִׁבְטֵ֣י the tribes šiḇ·ṭê יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl לְרָעָ֔ה for disaster , lə·rā·‘āh כְּכֹל֙ according to all kə·ḵōl אָל֣וֹת the curses ’ā·lō·wṯ הַבְּרִ֔ית of the covenant hab·bə·rîṯ הַכְּתוּבָ֕ה written hak·kə·ṯū·ḇāh הַזֶּֽה׃ in this haz·zeh בְּסֵ֥פֶר Book bə·sê·p̄er הַתּוֹרָ֖ה of the Law . hat·tō·w·rāh Deuteronomy 29:22 וְאָמַ֞ר - wə·’ā·mar הַדּ֣וֹר Then the generation had·dō·wr הָֽאַחֲר֗וֹן to come — hā·’a·ḥă·rō·wn בְּנֵיכֶם֙ your sons bə·nê·ḵem אֲשֶׁ֤ר who ’ă·šer יָק֙וּמוּ֙ follow yā·qū·mū מֵאַ֣חֲרֵיכֶ֔ם you mê·’a·ḥă·rê·ḵem וְהַ֨נָּכְרִ֔י and the foreigner wə·han·nā·ḵə·rî אֲשֶׁ֥ר who ’ă·šer יָבֹ֖א comes yā·ḇō רְחוֹקָ֑ה from a distant rə·ḥō·w·qāh מֵאֶ֣רֶץ land — mê·’e·reṣ וְ֠רָאוּ will see wə·rā·’ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מַכּ֞וֹת the plagues mak·kō·wṯ הָאָ֤רֶץ of the land hā·’ā·reṣ הַהִוא֙ . . . ha·hi·w וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- תַּ֣חֲלֻאֶ֔יהָ and the sicknesses ta·ḥă·lu·’e·hā אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh חִלָּ֥ה has inflicted ḥil·lāh בָּֽהּ׃ on it . bāh Deuteronomy 29:23 כָל־ All ḵāl אַרְצָהּ֒ its soil ’ar·ṣāh שְׂרֵפָ֣ה will be a burning waste śə·rê·p̄āh גָּפְרִ֣ית of sulfur gā·p̄ə·rîṯ וָמֶלַח֮ and salt , wā·me·laḥ לֹ֤א unsown lō תִזָּרַע֙ . . . ṯiz·zā·ra‘ תַצְמִ֔חַ and unproductive ṯaṣ·mi·aḥ וְלֹ֣א . . . , wə·lō וְלֹֽא־ with no wə·lō- עֵ֑שֶׂב plant ‘ê·śeḇ יַעֲלֶ֥ה growing ya·‘ă·leh בָ֖הּ on it , ḇāh כָּל־ . . . kāl- כְּֽמַהְפֵּכַ֞ת just like the destruction kə·mah·pê·ḵaṯ סְדֹ֤ם of Sodom sə·ḏōm וַעֲמֹרָה֙ and Gomorrah , wa·‘ă·mō·rāh אַדְמָ֣ה Admah ’aḏ·māh וּצְבֹיִּים and Zeboiim , ū·ṣə·ḇ·yīm אֲשֶׁר֙ which ’ă·šer יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh הָפַ֣ךְ overthrew hā·p̄aḵ בְּאַפּ֖וֹ in His fierce anger bə·’ap·pōw וּבַחֲמָתֽוֹ׃ . . . . ū·ḇa·ḥă·mā·ṯōw
