הָיִ֙יתָ֙ you were hā·yî·ṯā עֶ֤בֶד slaves ‘e·ḇeḏ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם in Egypt , bə·miṣ·ra·yim יְהוָ֥ה and YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā וַֽיִּפְדְּךָ֛ redeemed you way·yip̄·də·ḵā מִשָּׁ֑ם from that place . miš·šām עַל־ Therefore ‘al- כֵּ֞ן . . . kên אָנֹכִ֤י I ’ā·nō·ḵî מְצַוְּךָ֙ am commanding mə·ṣaw·wə·ḵā לַעֲשׂ֔וֹת you to do la·‘ă·śō·wṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַדָּבָ֖ר - had·dā·ḇār הַזֶּֽה׃ס this . haz·zeh Deuteronomy 24:19 כִּ֣י If kî תִקְצֹר֩ you are harvesting ṯiq·ṣōr קְצִֽירְךָ֨ . . . qə·ṣî·rə·ḵā בְשָׂדֶ֜ךָ in your field ḇə·śā·ḏe·ḵā וְשָֽׁכַחְתָּ֧ and forget wə·šā·ḵaḥ·tā עֹ֣מֶר a sheaf ‘ō·mer בַּשָּׂדֶ֗ה [there] , baś·śā·ḏeh לֹ֤א do not lō תָשׁוּב֙ go back ṯā·šūḇ לְקַחְתּ֔וֹ to get it . lə·qaḥ·tōw יִהְיֶ֑ה It is yih·yeh לַגֵּ֛ר to be left for the foreigner , lag·gêr לַיָּת֥וֹם the fatherless , lay·yā·ṯō·wm וְלָאַלְמָנָ֖ה and the widow , wə·lā·’al·mā·nāh לְמַ֤עַן so that lə·ma·‘an יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā יְבָרֶכְךָ֙ may bless yə·ḇā·reḵ·ḵā בְּכֹ֖ל you in all bə·ḵōl מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה the work ma·‘ă·śêh יָדֶֽיךָ׃ of your hands . yā·ḏe·ḵā Deuteronomy 24:20 כִּ֤י When kî תַחְבֹּט֙ you beat ṯaḥ·bōṭ זֵֽיתְךָ֔ the olives from your trees , zê·ṯə·ḵā לֹ֥א you must not lō תְפָאֵ֖ר go over ṯə·p̄ā·’êr אַחֲרֶ֑יךָ the branches again . ’a·ḥă·re·ḵā יִהְיֶֽה׃ס What remains will be yih·yeh לַגֵּ֛ר for the foreigner , lag·gêr לַיָּת֥וֹם the fatherless , lay·yā·ṯō·wm וְלָאַלְמָנָ֖ה and the widow . wə·lā·’al·mā·nāh Deuteronomy 24:21 כִּ֤י When kî תִבְצֹר֙ you gather the grapes ṯiḇ·ṣōr כַּרְמְךָ֔ of your vineyard , kar·mə·ḵā לֹ֥א you must not lō תְעוֹלֵ֖ל go over [the vines] ṯə·‘ō·w·lêl אַחֲרֶ֑יךָ again . ’a·ḥă·re·ḵā יִהְיֶֽה׃ What remains will be yih·yeh לַגֵּ֛ר for the foreigner , lag·gêr לַיָּת֥וֹם the fatherless , lay·yā·ṯō·wm וְלָאַלְמָנָ֖ה and the widow . wə·lā·’al·mā·nāh Deuteronomy 24:22 וְזָ֣כַרְתָּ֔ Remember wə·zā·ḵar·tā כִּי־ that kî- הָיִ֖יתָ you were hā·yî·ṯā עֶ֥בֶד slaves ‘e·ḇeḏ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ מִצְרָ֑יִם of Egypt . miṣ·rā·yim עַל־ Therefore ‘al- כֵּ֞ן . . . kên אָנֹכִ֤י I ’ā·nō·ḵî מְצַוְּךָ֙ am commanding mə·ṣaw·wə·ḵā לַעֲשׂ֔וֹת you to do la·‘ă·śō·wṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַדָּבָ֖ר - had·dā·ḇār הַזֶּֽה׃ס this . haz·zeh Deuteronomy 25:1 כִּֽי־ If kî- יִהְיֶ֥ה there is yih·yeh רִיב֙ a dispute rîḇ בֵּ֣ין between bên אֲנָשִׁ֔ים men , ’ă·nā·šîm וְנִגְּשׁ֥וּ they are to go wə·nig·gə·šū אֶל־ to ’el- הַמִּשְׁפָּ֖ט court ham·miš·pāṭ וּשְׁפָט֑וּם to be judged , ū·šə·p̄ā·ṭūm הַצַּדִּ֔יק so that the innocent haṣ·ṣad·dîq וְהִצְדִּ֙יקוּ֙ may be acquitted wə·hiṣ·dî·qū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָרָשָֽׁע׃ and the guilty hā·rā·šā‘ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְהִרְשִׁ֖יעוּ condemned . wə·hir·šî·‘ū
