כָּל־ of all kāl- תְּבוּאָ֣תְךָ֔ your produce tə·ḇū·’ā·ṯə·ḵā הַהִ֑וא for that ha·hi·w בַּשָּׁנָ֖ה year baš·šā·nāh וְהִנַּחְתָּ֖ and lay [it] up wə·hin·naḥ·tā בִּשְׁעָרֶֽיךָ׃ within your gates . biš·‘ā·re·ḵā Deuteronomy 14:29 הַלֵּוִ֡י Then the Levite hal·lê·wî כִּ֣י ( because kî אֵֽין־ he has no ’ên- לוֹ֩ lōw חֵ֨לֶק portion ḥê·leq וְנַחֲלָ֜ה or inheritance wə·na·ḥă·lāh עִמָּ֗ךְ among you ), ‘im·māḵ וְ֠הַגֵּר the foreigner , wə·hag·gêr וְהַיָּת֤וֹם the fatherless , wə·hay·yā·ṯō·wm וְהָֽאַלְמָנָה֙ and the widow wə·hā·’al·mā·nāh אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer בִּשְׁעָרֶ֔יךָ within your gates biš·‘ā·re·ḵā וּבָ֣א may come ū·ḇā וְאָכְל֖וּ and eat wə·’ā·ḵə·lū וְשָׂבֵ֑עוּ and be satisfied . wə·śā·ḇê·‘ū לְמַ֤עַן . . . lə·ma·‘an יְהוָ֣ה And YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā יְבָרֶכְךָ֙ will bless yə·ḇā·reḵ·ḵā בְּכָל־ you in all bə·ḵāl מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה the work ma·‘ă·śêh יָדְךָ֖ of your hands yā·ḏə·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer תַּעֲשֶֽׂה׃ס - . ta·‘ă·śeh Deuteronomy 15:1 מִקֵּ֥ץ At the end miq·qêṣ שֶֽׁבַע־ of every seven še·ḇa‘- שָׁנִ֖ים years šā·nîm תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה vvv ta·‘ă·śeh שְׁמִטָּֽה׃ you must cancel debts . šə·miṭ·ṭāh Deuteronomy 15:2 וְזֶה֮ This wə·zeh דְּבַ֣ר is the manner də·ḇar הַשְּׁמִטָּה֒ of remission : haš·šə·miṭ·ṭāh כָּל־ Every kāl- בַּ֙עַל֙ creditor ba·‘al מַשֵּׁ֣ה . . . maš·šêh יָד֔וֹ . . . yā·ḏōw שָׁמ֗וֹט shall cancel šā·mō·wṭ אֲשֶׁ֥ר what ’ă·šer יַשֶּׁ֖ה he has loaned yaš·šeh בְּרֵעֵ֑הוּ to his neighbor . bə·rê·‘ê·hū לֹֽא־ He is not lō- יִגֹּ֤שׂ to collect yig·gōś אֶת־ anything ’eṯ- רֵעֵ֙הוּ֙ from his neighbor rê·‘ê·hū וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- אָחִ֔יו or brother , ’ā·ḥîw כִּֽי־ because kî- לַֽיהוָֽה׃ YHWH’s Yah·weh שְׁמִטָּ֖ה time of release šə·miṭ·ṭāh קָרָ֥א has been proclaimed . qā·rā Deuteronomy 15:3 אֶת־ - ’eṯ- תִּגֹּ֑שׂ You may collect tig·gōś הַנָּכְרִ֖י something from a foreigner , han·nā·ḵə·rî תַּשְׁמֵ֥ט but you must forgive taš·mêṭ יָדֶֽךָ׃ . . . yā·ḏe·ḵā וַאֲשֶׁ֨ר whatever wa·’ă·šer אָחִ֖יךָ your brother ’ā·ḥî·ḵā יִהְיֶ֥ה owes yih·yeh לְךָ֛ you lə·ḵā אֶת־ . . . . ’eṯ- Deuteronomy 15:4 יִֽהְיֶה־ There will be yih·yeh- לֹ֥א no lō אֶבְי֑וֹן poor ’eḇ·yō·wn בְּךָ֖ among you , bə·ḵā אֶ֕פֶס however ’e·p̄es כִּ֛י . . . , kî כִּֽי־ because kî- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh בָרֵ֤ךְ will surely bless you ḇā·rêḵ יְבָֽרֶכְךָ֙ . . . yə·ḇā·reḵ·ḵā בָּאָ֕רֶץ in the land bā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁר֙ that ’ă·šer יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā נֹֽתֵן־ is giving nō·ṯên- לְךָ֥ you lə·ḵā לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃ to possess lə·riš·tāh נַחֲלָ֖ה as an inheritance , na·ḥă·lāh
