Deuteronomy 9:24 הֱיִיתֶ֖ם You have been hĕ·yî·ṯem מַמְרִ֥ים rebelling mam·rîm עִם־ against ‘im- יְהוָ֑ה YHWH Yah·weh מִיּ֖וֹם since the day mî·yō·wm דַּעְתִּ֥י I came to know you da‘·tî אֶתְכֶֽם׃ - . ’eṯ·ḵem Deuteronomy 9:25 וָֽאֶתְנַפַּ֞ל So I fell down wā·’eṯ·nap·pal לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אֵ֣ת - ’êṯ אַרְבָּעִ֥ים for forty ’ar·bā·‘îm הַיּ֛וֹם days hay·yō·wm וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- אַרְבָּעִ֥ים forty ’ar·bā·‘îm הַלַּ֖יְלָה nights hal·lay·lāh אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer הִתְנַפָּ֑לְתִּי - , hiṯ·nap·pā·lə·tî כִּֽי־ because kî- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֥ר had said ’ā·mar לְהַשְׁמִ֥יד He would destroy lə·haš·mîḏ אֶתְכֶֽם׃ you . ’eṯ·ḵem Deuteronomy 9:26 וָאֶתְפַּלֵּ֣ל And I prayed wā·’eṯ·pal·lêl אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוָה֮ YHWH Yah·weh וָאֹמַר֒ and said , wā·’ō·mar אֲדֹנָ֣י “ O Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֗ה YHWH , Yah·weh אַל־ do not ’al- תַּשְׁחֵ֤ת destroy taš·ḥêṯ עַמְּךָ֙ Your people , ‘am·mə·ḵā וְנַחֲלָ֣תְךָ֔ Your inheritance , wə·na·ḥă·lā·ṯə·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֥ר whom ’ă·šer פָּדִ֖יתָ You redeemed pā·ḏî·ṯā בְּגָדְלֶ֑ךָ through Your greatness bə·ḡā·ḏə·le·ḵā אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- הוֹצֵ֥אתָ and brought out hō·w·ṣê·ṯā מִמִּצְרַ֖יִם of Egypt mim·miṣ·ra·yim חֲזָקָֽה׃ with a mighty ḥă·zā·qāh בְּיָ֥ד hand . bə·yāḏ Deuteronomy 9:27 זְכֹר֙ Remember zə·ḵōr לַעֲבָדֶ֔יךָ Your servants la·‘ă·ḇā·ḏe·ḵā לְאַבְרָהָ֥ם Abraham , lə·’aḇ·rā·hām לְיִצְחָ֖ק Isaac , lə·yiṣ·ḥāq וּֽלְיַעֲקֹ֑ב and Jacob . ū·lə·ya·‘ă·qōḇ אַל־ Overlook ’al- תֵּ֗פֶן . . . tê·p̄en אֶל־ . . . ’el- קְשִׁי֙ the stubbornness qə·šî הַזֶּ֔ה of this haz·zeh וְאֶל־ . . . wə·’el- הָעָ֣ם people hā·‘ām רִשְׁע֖וֹ and the wickedness riš·‘ōw וְאֶל־ . . . wə·’el- חַטָּאתֽוֹ׃ of their sin . ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯōw Deuteronomy 9:28 פֶּן־ Otherwise , pen- הָאָרֶץ֮ those in the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁ֣ר from which ’ă·šer הוֹצֵאתָ֣נוּ You brought us out hō·w·ṣê·ṯā·nū מִשָּׁם֒ . . . miš·šām יֹאמְר֗וּ will say , yō·mə·rū יְהוָ֔ה ‘ Because YHWH Yah·weh מִבְּלִי֙ was not mib·bə·lî יְכֹ֣לֶת able yə·ḵō·leṯ לַהֲבִיאָ֕ם to bring them la·hă·ḇî·’ām אֶל־ into ’el- הָאָ֖רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- דִּבֶּ֣ר He had promised dib·ber לָהֶ֑ם them , lā·hem וּמִשִּׂנְאָת֣וֹ and because He hated ū·miś·śin·’ā·ṯōw אוֹתָ֔ם them , ’ō·w·ṯām הוֹצִיאָ֖ם He has brought them out hō·w·ṣî·’ām לַהֲמִתָ֥ם to kill them la·hă·mi·ṯām בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ in the wilderness . ’ bam·miḏ·bār Deuteronomy 9:29 וְהֵ֥ם But they wə·hêm עַמְּךָ֖ are Your people , ‘am·mə·ḵā וְנַחֲלָתֶ֑ךָ Your inheritance , wə·na·ḥă·lā·ṯe·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֤ר whom ’ă·šer הוֹצֵ֙אתָ֙ You brought out hō·w·ṣê·ṯā הַגָּדֹ֔ל by Your great hag·gā·ḏōl
