Deuteronomy 4:23 הִשָּׁמְר֣וּ Be careful hiš·šā·mə·rū לָכֶ֗ם that you lā·ḵem פֶּֽן־ do not pen- תִּשְׁכְּחוּ֙ forget tiš·kə·ḥū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּרִ֤ית the covenant bə·rîṯ יְהוָה֙ of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹ֣הֵיכֶ֔ם your God ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer כָּרַ֖ת He made kā·raṯ עִמָּכֶ֑ם with you ; ‘im·mā·ḵem וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֨ם do not make wa·‘ă·śî·ṯem פֶּ֙סֶל֙ an idol pe·sel לָכֶ֥ם for yourselves lā·ḵem תְּמ֣וּנַת in the form tə·mū·naṯ כֹּ֔ל of anything kōl אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer יְהוָ֥ה He Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ . . . ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā צִוְּךָ֖ has forbidden you . ṣiw·wə·ḵā Deuteronomy 4:24 כִּ֚י For kî יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā אֹכְלָ֖ה is a consuming ’ō·ḵə·lāh ה֑וּא . . . hū אֵ֥שׁ fire , ’êš קַנָּֽא׃פ a jealous qan·nā אֵ֖ל God . ’êl Deuteronomy 4:25 כִּֽי־ After kî- תוֹלִ֤יד you have ṯō·w·lîḏ בָּנִים֙ children bā·nîm וּבְנֵ֣י and grandchildren ū·ḇə·nê בָנִ֔ים . . . ḇā·nîm בָּאָ֑רֶץ and you have been in the land bā·’ā·reṣ וְנוֹשַׁנְתֶּ֖ם a long time , wə·nō·wō·šan·tem וְהִשְׁחַתֶּ֗ם if you then act corruptly wə·hiš·ḥat·tem וַעֲשִׂ֤יתֶם and make wa·‘ă·śî·ṯem פֶּ֙סֶל֙ an idol pe·sel כֹּ֔ל of any kōl תְּמ֣וּנַת form — tə·mū·naṯ וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֥ם doing wa·‘ă·śî·ṯem הָרַ֛ע evil hā·ra‘ בְּעֵינֵ֥י in the sight bə·‘ê·nê יְהוָֽה־ of YHWH Yah·weh- אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā לְהַכְעִיסֽוֹ׃ [and] provoking Him to anger — lə·haḵ·‘î·sōw Deuteronomy 4:26 הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם I call heaven haš·šā·ma·yim וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הָאָ֗רֶץ and earth hā·’ā·reṣ הַעִידֹתִי֩ as witnesses ha·‘î·ḏō·ṯî בָכֶ֨ם against you ḇā·ḵem הַיּ֜וֹם this day hay·yō·wm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כִּֽי־ that kî- מַהֵר֒ you will quickly ma·hêr אָבֹ֣ד perish ’ā·ḇōḏ תֹּאבֵדוּן֮ . . . tō·ḇê·ḏūn מֵעַ֣ל from mê·‘al הָאָ֔רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁ֨ר that ’ă·šer אַתֶּ֜ם you ’at·tem עֹבְרִ֧ים are crossing ‘ō·ḇə·rîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַיַּרְדֵּ֛ן the Jordan hay·yar·dên שָׁ֖מָּה . . . šām·māh לְרִשְׁתָּ֑הּ to possess . lə·riš·tāh לֹֽא־ You will not lō- תַאֲרִיכֻ֤ן live long ṯa·’ă·rî·ḵun יָמִים֙ . . . yā·mîm עָלֶ֔יהָ upon it , ‘ā·le·hā כִּ֥י but kî הִשָּׁמֵ֖ד will be utterly destroyed hiš·šā·mêḏ תִּשָּׁמֵדֽוּן׃ . . . . tiš·šā·mê·ḏūn Deuteronomy 4:27 יְהוָ֛ה Then YHWH Yah·weh אֶתְכֶ֖ם - ’eṯ·ḵem וְהֵפִ֧יץ will scatter wə·hê·p̄îṣ בָּעַמִּ֑ים you among the peoples , bā·‘am·mîm מְתֵ֣י and only a few of you mə·ṯê מִסְפָּ֔ר . . . mis·pār וְנִשְׁאַרְתֶּם֙ will survive wə·niš·’ar·tem בַּגּוֹיִ֕ם among the nations bag·gō·w·yim אֲשֶׁ֨ר to which ’ă·šer יְהוָ֛ה YHWH Yah·weh אֶתְכֶ֖ם - ’eṯ·ḵem שָֽׁמָּה׃ - šām·māh יְנַהֵ֧ג will drive you . yə·na·hêḡ
