א֖וֹ or ’ōw כָּמֹֽהוּ׃ - kā·mō·hū הֲנִשְׁמַ֥ע been reported ? hă·niš·ma‘ Deuteronomy 4:33 עָם֩ Has a people ‘ām הֲשָׁ֣מַֽע ever heard hă·šā·ma‘ ק֨וֹל the voice qō·wl אֱלֹהִ֜ים of God ’ĕ·lō·hîm מְדַבֵּ֧ר speaking mə·ḏab·bêr מִתּוֹךְ־ out of mit·tō·wḵ- הָאֵ֛שׁ the fire , hā·’êš כַּאֲשֶׁר־ as ka·’ă·šer- אַתָּ֖ה you ’at·tāh שָׁמַ֥עְתָּ have , šā·ma‘·tā וַיֶּֽחִי׃ and lived ? way·ye·ḥî Deuteronomy 4:34 א֣וֹ׀ Or ’ōw אֱלֹהִ֗ים has any god ’ĕ·lō·hîm הֲנִסָּ֣ה tried hă·nis·sāh לָ֠בוֹא . . . lā·ḇō·w לָקַ֨חַת to take lā·qa·ḥaṯ ל֣וֹ as his own lōw גוֹי֮ a nation ḡō·w מִקֶּ֣רֶב out of miq·qe·reḇ גּוֹי֒ another nation — gō·w בְּמַסֹּת֩ by trials , bə·mas·sōṯ בְּאֹתֹ֨ת signs , bə·’ō·ṯōṯ וּבְמוֹפְתִ֜ים wonders , ū·ḇə·mō·wp̄·ṯîm וּבְמִלְחָמָ֗ה and war , ū·ḇə·mil·ḥā·māh חֲזָקָה֙ by a strong ḥă·zā·qāh וּבְיָ֤ד hand ū·ḇə·yāḏ נְטוּיָ֔ה and an outstretched nə·ṭū·yāh וּבִזְר֣וֹעַ arm , ū·ḇiz·rō·w·a‘ גְּדֹלִ֑ים and by great gə·ḏō·lîm וּבְמוֹרָאִ֖ים terrors — ū·ḇə·mō·w·rā·’îm כְּ֠כֹל as kə·ḵōl אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- יְהוָ֧ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֛ם your God ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem עָשָׂ֨ה did ‘ā·śāh לָכֶ֜ם for you lā·ḵem בְּמִצְרַ֖יִם in Egypt , bə·miṣ·ra·yim לְעֵינֶֽיךָ׃ before your eyes ? lə·‘ê·ne·ḵā Deuteronomy 4:35 אַתָּה֙ You ’at·tāh הָרְאֵ֣תָ were shown [these things] hā·rə·’ê·ṯā לָדַ֔עַת so that you would know lā·ḏa·‘aṯ כִּ֥י that kî יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh ה֣וּא . . . hū הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים is God ; hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm אֵ֥ין there is no ’ên ע֖וֹד other ‘ō·wḏ מִלְבַדּֽוֹ׃ besides Him . mil·ḇad·dō Deuteronomy 4:36 הִשְׁמִֽיעֲךָ֥ He let you hear hiš·mî·‘ă·ḵā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- קֹל֖וֹ His voice qō·lōw מִן־ from min- הַשָּׁמַ֛יִם heaven haš·šā·ma·yim לְיַסְּרֶ֑ךָּ to discipline you , lə·yas·sə·re·kā וְעַל־ and on wə·‘al- הָאָ֗רֶץ earth hā·’ā·reṣ הֶרְאֲךָ֙ He showed her·’ă·ḵā אֶת־ you ’eṯ- הַגְּדוֹלָ֔ה His great hag·gə·ḏō·w·lāh אִשּׁ֣וֹ fire , ’iš·šōw שָׁמַ֖עְתָּ and you heard šā·ma‘·tā וּדְבָרָ֥יו His words ū·ḏə·ḇā·rāw מִתּ֥וֹךְ out of mit·tō·wḵ הָאֵֽשׁ׃ the fire . hā·’êš Deuteronomy 4:37 וְתַ֗חַת Because wə·ṯa·ḥaṯ כִּ֤י . . . kî אָהַב֙ He loved ’ā·haḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲבֹתֶ֔יךָ your fathers , ’ă·ḇō·ṯe·ḵā וַיִּבְחַ֥ר He chose way·yiḇ·ḥar בְּזַרְע֖וֹ their descendants bə·zar·‘ōw אַחֲרָ֑יו after them ’a·ḥă·rāw וַיּוֹצִֽאֲךָ֧ and brought you way·yō·w·ṣi·’ă·ḵā מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃ out of Egypt mim·miṣ·rā·yim בְּפָנָ֛יו by His presence bə·p̄ā·nāw הַגָּדֹ֖ל and great hag·gā·ḏōl בְּכֹח֥וֹ power , bə·ḵō·ḥōw Deuteronomy 4:38 לְהוֹרִ֗ישׁ to drive out lə·hō·w·rîš מִמְּךָ֖ before you mim·mə·ḵā
