אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ our God ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū צִוָּ֖ה had forbidden . ṣiw·wāh Deuteronomy 3:1 וַנֵּ֣פֶן Then we turned wan·nê·p̄en וַנַּ֔עַל and went up wan·na·‘al דֶּ֖רֶךְ the road de·reḵ הַבָּשָׁ֑ן to Bashan , hab·bā·šān עוֹג֩ and Og ‘ō·wḡ מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- הַבָּשָׁ֨ן of Bashan hab·bā·šān ה֧וּא . . . hū וְכָל־ and his whole wə·ḵāl עַמּ֛וֹ army ‘am·mōw וַיֵּצֵ֣א came out way·yê·ṣê לִקְרָאתֵ֜נוּ to meet us liq·rā·ṯê·nū לַמִּלְחָמָ֖ה in battle lam·mil·ḥā·māh אֶדְרֶֽעִי׃ at Edrei . ’eḏ·re·‘î Deuteronomy 3:2 יְהוָ֤ה But YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֵלַי֙ to me , ’ê·lay אַל־ “ Do not ’al- תִּירָ֣א fear him , tî·rā אֹת֔וֹ - ’ō·ṯōw כִּ֣י for kî נָתַ֧תִּי I have delivered nā·ṯat·tî אֹת֛וֹ him ’ō·ṯōw בְיָדְךָ֞ into your hand , ḇə·yā·ḏə·ḵā וְאֶת־ along with wə·’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- עַמּ֖וֹ his people ‘am·mōw וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- אַרְצ֑וֹ and his land . ’ar·ṣōw וְעָשִׂ֣יתָ Do wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā לּ֔וֹ to him lōw כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר as ka·’ă·šer עָשִׂ֗יתָ you did ‘ā·śî·ṯā לְסִיחֹן֙ to Sihon lə·sî·ḥōn מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ הָֽאֱמֹרִ֔י of the Amorites , hā·’ĕ·mō·rî אֲשֶׁ֥ר who ’ă·šer יוֹשֵׁ֖ב lived yō·wō·šêḇ בְּחֶשְׁבּֽוֹן׃ in Heshbon . ” bə·ḥeš·bō·wn Deuteronomy 3:3 יְהוָ֨ה So YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֜ינוּ our God ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū גַּ֛ם also gam אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּתֵּן֩ delivered way·yit·tên ע֥וֹג Og ‘ō·wḡ מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- הַבָּשָׁ֖ן of Bashan hab·bā·šān וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- כָּל־ and his whole kāl- עַמּ֑וֹ army ‘am·mōw בְּיָדֵ֗נוּ into our hands . bə·yā·ḏê·nū וַנַּכֵּ֕הוּ We struck them down wan·nak·kê·hū עַד־ - ‘aḏ- בִּלְתִּ֥י until no bil·tî שָׂרִֽיד׃ survivor śā·rîḏ הִשְׁאִֽיר־ was left . hiš·’îr- ל֖וֹ lōw Deuteronomy 3:4 הַהִ֔וא At that ha·hi·w בָּעֵ֣ת time bā·‘êṯ וַנִּלְכֹּ֤ד we captured wan·nil·kōḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- שִׁשִּׁ֥ים sixty šiš·šîm עִיר֙ of his cities . ‘îr עָרָיו֙ - ‘ā·rāw לֹ֤א There was not lō הָֽיְתָה֙ . . . hā·yə·ṯāh קִרְיָ֔ה a single city qir·yāh אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer לֹא־ we failed to lō- לָקַ֖חְנוּ take lā·qaḥ·nū מֵֽאִתָּ֑ם - — mê·’it·tām כָּל־ the entire kāl- חֶ֣בֶל region ḥe·ḇel אַרְגֹּ֔ב of Argob , ’ar·gōḇ מַמְלֶ֥כֶת the kingdom mam·le·ḵeṯ ע֖וֹג of Og ‘ō·wḡ בַּבָּשָֽׁן׃ in Bashan . bab·bā·šān Deuteronomy 3:5 כָּל־ All kāl- אֵ֜לֶּה these ’êl·leh עָרִ֧ים cities ‘ā·rîm בְּצֻר֛וֹת were fortified bə·ṣu·rō·wṯ גְבֹהָ֖ה with high ḡə·ḇō·hāh
