Numbers 31:20 תִּתְחַטָּֽאוּ׃ס And purify tiṯ·ḥaṭ·ṭā·’ū וְכָל־ every wə·ḵāl בֶּ֧גֶד garment be·ḡeḏ וְכָל־ - wə·ḵāl ע֛וֹר and leather ‘ō·wr וְכָל־ . . . wə·ḵāl כְּלִי־ good , kə·lî- מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה everything ma·‘ă·śêh עִזִּ֖ים made of goat’s hair , ‘iz·zîm וְכָל־ and every wə·ḵāl כְּלִי־ article kə·lî- עֵ֑ץ of wood . ” ‘êṣ Numbers 31:21 אֶלְעָזָ֤ר Then Eleazar ’el·‘ā·zār הַכֹּהֵן֙ the priest hak·kō·hên וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- אַנְשֵׁ֣י the soldiers ’an·šê הַצָּבָ֔א . . . haṣ·ṣā·ḇā הַבָּאִ֖ים who had gone hab·bā·’îm לַמִּלְחָמָ֑ה into battle , lam·mil·ḥā·māh זֹ֚את “ This zōṯ חֻקַּ֣ת is the statute ḥuq·qaṯ הַתּוֹרָ֔ה of the law hat·tō·w·rāh אֲשֶׁר־ which ’ă·šer- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh צִוָּ֥ה has commanded ṣiw·wāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מֹשֶֽׁה׃ Moses : mō·šeh Numbers 31:22 אַ֥ךְ Only ’aḵ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַזָּהָ֖ב the gold , haz·zā·hāḇ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַכָּ֑סֶף silver , hak·kā·sep̄ אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- הַנְּחֹ֙שֶׁת֙ bronze , han·nə·ḥō·šeṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַבַּרְזֶ֔ל iron , hab·bar·zel אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- הַבְּדִ֖יל tin , hab·bə·ḏîl וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הָעֹפָֽרֶת׃ and lead — hā·‘ō·p̄ā·reṯ Numbers 31:23 כָּל־ everything kāl- דָּבָ֞ר . . . dā·ḇār אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- יָבֹ֣א can withstand yā·ḇō בָאֵ֗שׁ the fire — ḇā·’êš תַּעֲבִ֤ירוּ must be put ta·‘ă·ḇî·rū בָאֵשׁ֙ through the fire , ḇā·’êš וְטָהֵ֔ר and it will be clean . wə·ṭā·hêr אַ֕ךְ But ’aḵ יִתְחַטָּ֑א it must still be purified yiṯ·ḥaṭ·ṭā בְּמֵ֥י with the water bə·mê נִדָּ֖ה of purification . nid·dāh וְכֹ֨ל And everything wə·ḵōl אֲשֶׁ֧ר that ’ă·šer לֹֽא־ cannot lō- יָבֹ֛א withstand yā·ḇō בָּאֵ֖שׁ the fire bā·’êš תַּעֲבִ֥ירוּ must pass ta·‘ă·ḇî·rū בַמָּֽיִם׃ through the water . ḇam·mā·yim Numbers 31:24 הַשְּׁבִיעִ֖י On the seventh haš·šə·ḇî·‘î בַּיּ֥וֹם day bay·yō·wm וְכִבַּסְתֶּ֧ם you are to wash wə·ḵib·bas·tem בִּגְדֵיכֶ֛ם your clothes , biḡ·ḏê·ḵem וּטְהַרְתֶּ֑ם and you will be clean . ū·ṭə·har·tem וְאַחַ֖ר After that wə·’a·ḥar תָּבֹ֥אוּ you may enter tā·ḇō·’ū אֶל־ . . . ’el- הַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃פ the camp . ” ham·ma·ḥă·neh Numbers 31:25 יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֥אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֥ה Moses mō·šeh לֵּאמֹֽר׃ . . . , lê·mōr Numbers 31:26 אַתָּה֙ “ You ’at·tāh וְאֶלְעָזָ֣ר and Eleazar wə·’el·‘ā·zār הַכֹּהֵ֔ן the priest hak·kō·hên אֲב֥וֹת and the family ’ă·ḇō·wṯ וְרָאשֵׁ֖י heads wə·rā·šê הָעֵדָֽה׃ of the congregation hā·‘ê·ḏāh
