יַעֲשֶׂ֜ה will do ya·‘ă·śeh לְעַמְּךָ֖ to your people lə·‘am·mə·ḵā הַיָּמִֽים׃ in the days hay·yā·mîm בְּאַחֲרִ֥ית to come . ” bə·’a·ḥă·rîṯ Numbers 24:15 וַיִּשָּׂ֥א Then [Balaam] lifted up way·yiś·śā מְשָׁל֖וֹ an oracle , mə·šā·lōw וַיֹּאמַ֑ר saying , way·yō·mar נְאֻ֤ם “ [This is] the prophecy nə·’um בִּלְעָם֙ of Balaam bil·‘ām בְּנ֣וֹ son bə·nōw בְעֹ֔ר of Beor , ḇə·‘ōr וּנְאֻ֥ם the prophecy ū·nə·’um הַגֶּ֖בֶר of a man hag·ge·ḇer הָעָֽיִן׃ whose eyes hā·‘ā·yin שְׁתֻ֥ם are open , šə·ṯum Numbers 24:16 נְאֻ֗ם the prophecy nə·’um שֹׁמֵ֙עַ֙ of one who hears šō·mê·a‘ אִמְרֵי־ the words ’im·rê- אֵ֔ל of God , ’êl וְיֹדֵ֖עַ who has knowledge wə·yō·ḏê·a‘ דַּ֣עַת . . . da·‘aṯ עֶלְי֑וֹן from the Most High , ‘el·yō·wn יֶֽחֱזֶ֔ה who sees ye·ḥĕ·zeh מַחֲזֵ֤ה a vision ma·ḥă·zêh שַׁדַּי֙ from the Almighty , šad·day נֹפֵ֖ל who bows down nō·p̄êl עֵינָֽיִם׃ with eyes ‘ê·nā·yim וּגְל֥וּי wide open : ū·ḡə·lui Numbers 24:17 אֶרְאֶ֙נּוּ֙ I see him , ’er·’en·nū וְלֹ֣א but not wə·lō עַתָּ֔ה now ; ‘at·tāh אֲשׁוּרֶ֖נּוּ I behold him , ’ă·šū·ren·nū וְלֹ֣א but not wə·lō קָר֑וֹב near . qā·rō·wḇ כּוֹכָ֜ב A star kō·w·ḵāḇ דָּרַ֨ךְ will come forth dā·raḵ מִֽיַּעֲקֹ֗ב from Jacob , mî·ya·‘ă·qōḇ שֵׁ֙בֶט֙ and a scepter šê·ḇeṭ וְקָ֥ם will arise wə·qām מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֔ל from Israel . mî·yiś·rā·’êl וּמָחַץ֙ He will crush ū·mā·ḥaṣ פַּאֲתֵ֣י the skulls pa·’ă·ṯê מוֹאָ֔ב of Moab mō·w·’āḇ וְקַרְקַ֖ר and strike down wə·qar·qar כָּל־ all kāl- בְּנֵי־ the sons bə·nê- שֵׁ֔ת׃ of Sheth . šēṯ Numbers 24:18 אֱד֜וֹם Edom ’ĕ·ḏō·wm וְהָיָ֨ה will become wə·hā·yāh יְרֵשָׁ֗ה a possession , yə·rê·šāh יְרֵשָׁ֛ה [as] yə·rê·šāh וְהָיָ֧ה will wə·hā·yāh שֵׂעִ֖יר Seir , śê·‘îr אֹיְבָ֑יו his enemy ; ’ō·yə·ḇāw וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל but Israel wə·yiś·rā·’êl עֹ֥שֶׂה will perform ‘ō·śeh חָֽיִל׃ with valor . ḥā·yil Numbers 24:19 וְיֵ֖רְדְּ A ruler will come wə·yê·rəd מִֽיַּעֲקֹ֑ב from Jacob mî·ya·‘ă·qōḇ וְהֶֽאֱבִ֥יד and destroy wə·he·’ĕ·ḇîḏ שָׂרִ֖יד the survivors śā·rîḏ מֵעִֽיר׃ of the city . ” mê·‘îr Numbers 24:20 וַיַּרְא֙ Then Balaam saw way·yar אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עֲמָלֵ֔ק Amalek ‘ă·mā·lêq וַיִּשָּׂ֥א and lifted up way·yiś·śā מְשָׁל֖וֹ an oracle , mə·šā·lōw וַיֹּאמַ֑ר saying : way·yō·mar עֲמָלֵ֔ק “ Amalek ‘ă·mā·lêq רֵאשִׁ֤ית was first rê·šîṯ גּוֹיִם֙ among the nations , gō·w·yim וְאַחֲרִית֖וֹ but his end wə·’a·ḥă·rî·ṯōw עֲדֵ֥י . . . ‘ă·ḏê אֹבֵֽד׃ [is] destruction . ” ’ō·ḇêḏ Numbers 24:21 וַיַּרְא֙ Next he saw way·yar אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַקֵּינִ֔י the Kenites haq·qê·nî וַיִּשָּׂ֥א and lifted up way·yiś·śā מְשָׁל֖וֹ an oracle , mə·šā·lōw
