Numbers 16:46 מֹשֶׁ֜ה Moses mō·šeh וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶֽל־ to ’el- אַהֲרֹ֗ן Aaron , ’a·hă·rōn קַ֣ח “ Take qaḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַ֠מַּחְתָּה your censer , ham·maḥ·tāh וְתֶן־ place wə·ṯen- אֵ֜שׁ fire ’êš עָלֶ֨יהָ from ‘ā·le·hā הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ the altar ham·miz·bê·aḥ וְשִׂ֣ים . . . wə·śîm מֵעַ֤ל in it , mê·‘al קְטֹ֔רֶת and add incense . qə·ṭō·reṯ וְהוֹלֵ֧ךְ Go wə·hō·w·lêḵ מְהֵרָ֛ה quickly mə·hê·rāh אֶל־ to ’el- הָעֵדָ֖ה the congregation hā·‘ê·ḏāh וְכַפֵּ֣ר and make atonement wə·ḵap·pêr עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם for them , ‘ă·lê·hem כִּֽי־ because kî- הַקֶּ֛צֶף wrath haq·qe·ṣep̄ יָצָ֥א has come yā·ṣā מִלִּפְנֵ֥י out from mil·lip̄·nê יְהוָ֖ה YHWH ; Yah·weh הַנָּֽגֶף׃ the plague han·nā·ḡep̄ הֵחֵ֥ל has begun . ” hê·ḥêl Numbers 16:47 אַהֲרֹ֜ן So Aaron ’a·hă·rōn וַיִּקַּ֨ח took [the censer] way·yiq·qaḥ כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר׀ as ka·’ă·šer מֹשֶׁ֗ה Moses mō·šeh דִּבֶּ֣ר had ordered dib·ber וַיָּ֙רָץ֙ and ran way·yā·rāṣ אֶל־ into ’el- תּ֣וֹך the midst tōḵ הַקָּהָ֔ל of the assembly . haq·qā·hāl וְהִנֵּ֛ה . . . wə·hin·nêh הַנֶּ֖גֶף And seeing that the plague han·ne·ḡep̄ הֵחֵ֥ל had begun hê·ḥêl בָּעָ֑ם among the people , bā·‘ām וַיִּתֵּן֙ . . . way·yit·tên אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- הַקְּטֹ֔רֶת he offered the incense haq·qə·ṭō·reṯ וַיְכַפֵּ֖ר and made atonement way·ḵap·pêr עַל־ for ‘al- הָעָֽם׃ the people . hā·‘ām Numbers 16:48 וַיַּעֲמֹ֥ד He stood way·ya·‘ă·mōḏ בֵּֽין־ between bên- וּבֵ֣ין . . . ū·ḇên הַֽחַיִּ֑ים the living ha·ḥay·yîm הַמֵּתִ֖ים and the dead , ham·mê·ṯîm הַמַּגֵּפָֽה׃ and the plague ham·mag·gê·p̄āh וַתֵּעָצַ֖ר was halted . wat·tê·‘ā·ṣar Numbers 16:49 וַיִּהְי֗וּ - way·yih·yū הַמֵּתִים֙ But those who died ham·mê·ṯîm בַּמַּגֵּפָ֔ה from the plague bam·mag·gê·p̄āh אַרְבָּעָ֥ה numbered 14,700 ’ar·bā·‘āh עָשָׂ֛ר . . . , ‘ā·śār אֶ֖לֶף . . . ’e·lep̄ וּשְׁבַ֣ע . . . ū·šə·ḇa‘ מֵא֑וֹת . . . mê·’ō·wṯ מִלְּבַ֥ד in addition to mil·lə·ḇaḏ הַמֵּתִ֖ים those who had died ham·mê·ṯîm עַל־ on ‘al- דְּבַר־ account də·ḇar- קֹֽרַח׃ of Korah . qō·raḥ Numbers 16:50 אַהֲרֹן֙ Then Aaron ’a·hă·rōn וַיָּ֤שָׁב returned way·yā·šāḇ אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֔ה Moses mō·šeh אֶל־ at ’el- פֶּ֖תַח the entrance pe·ṯaḥ אֹ֣הֶל to the Tent ’ō·hel מוֹעֵ֑ד of Meeting , mō·w·‘êḏ וְהַמַּגֵּפָ֖ה since the plague wə·ham·mag·gê·p̄āh נֶעֱצָֽרָה׃פ had been halted . ne·‘ĕ·ṣā·rāh Numbers 17:1 יְהוָ֖ה And YHWH Yah·weh אֶל־ . . . ’el- וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר said to way·ḏab·bêr מֹשֶׁ֥ה Moses mō·šeh לֵּאמֹֽר׃ . . . , lê·mōr Numbers 17:2 דַּבֵּ֣ר׀ “ Speak dab·bêr
