הַכֻּשִׁ֖ית the Cushite hak·ku·šîṯ אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer הָאִשָּׁ֥ה woman hā·’iš·šāh לָקָ֑ח he had married , lā·qāḥ כִּֽי־ for kî- לָקָֽח׃ he had taken lā·qāḥ כֻשִׁ֖ית a Cushite ḵu·šîṯ אִשָּׁ֥ה wife . ’iš·šāh Numbers 12:2 יְהוָ֔ה “ Does YHWH Yah·weh דִּבֶּ֣ר speak dib·ber הֲרַ֤ק only hă·raq אַךְ־ . . . ’aḵ- בְּמֹשֶׁה֙ through Moses ? ” bə·mō·šeh וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ they said . way·yō·mə·rū הֲלֹ֖א “ Does He not hă·lō גַּם־ also gam- דִבֵּ֑ר speak ḏib·bêr בָּ֣נוּ through us ? ” bā·nū יְהוָֽה׃ And YHWH Yah·weh וַיִּשְׁמַ֖ע heard this . way·yiš·ma‘ Numbers 12:3 מֹשֶׁ֖ה Now Moses mō·šeh מְאֹ֑ד was a very mə·’ōḏ עָנָו humble ʿå̄·nå̄w וְהָאִ֥ישׁ man , wə·hā·’îš מִכֹּל֙ more so than any mik·kōl הָֽאָדָ֔ם man hā·’ā·ḏām אֲשֶׁ֖ר - ’ă·šer עַל־ on ‘al- פְּנֵ֥י the face pə·nê הָאֲדָמָֽה׃ס of the earth . hā·’ă·ḏā·māh Numbers 12:4 פִּתְאֹ֗ם And suddenly piṯ·’ōm יְהוָ֜ה YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֤ה Moses , mō·šeh וְאֶֽל־ wə·’el- אַהֲרֹן֙ Aaron , ’a·hă·rōn וְאֶל־ . . . wə·’el- מִרְיָ֔ם and Miriam , mir·yām שְׁלָשְׁתְּכֶ֖ם “ You three , šə·lā·šə·tə·ḵem צְא֥וּ come out ṣə·’ū אֶל־ to ’el- אֹ֣הֶל the Tent ’ō·hel מוֹעֵ֑ד of Meeting . ” mō·w·‘êḏ שְׁלָשְׁתָּֽם׃ So the three šə·lā·šə·tām וַיֵּצְא֖וּ went out , way·yê·ṣə·’ū Numbers 12:5 יְהוָה֙ and YHWH Yah·weh וַיֵּ֤רֶד came down way·yê·reḏ בְּעַמּ֣וּד in a pillar bə·‘am·mūḏ עָנָ֔ן of cloud , ‘ā·nān וַֽיַּעֲמֹ֖ד stood way·ya·‘ă·mōḏ פֶּ֣תַח at the entrance pe·ṯaḥ הָאֹ֑הֶל to the Tent , hā·’ō·hel וַיִּקְרָא֙ and summoned way·yiq·rā אַהֲרֹ֣ן Aaron ’a·hă·rōn וּמִרְיָ֔ם and Miriam . ū·mir·yām שְׁנֵיהֶֽם׃ When both šə·nê·hem וַיֵּצְא֖וּ of them had stepped forward , way·yê·ṣə·’ū Numbers 12:6 וַיֹּ֖אמֶר He said , way·yō·mer שִׁמְעוּ־ “ Hear šim·‘ū- נָ֣א now nā דְבָרָ֑י My words : ḏə·ḇā·rāy אִם־ If ’im- יִֽהְיֶה֙ there is yih·yeh נְבִ֣יאֲכֶ֔ם a prophet [among you] , nə·ḇî·’ă·ḵem יְהוָ֗ה [I], YHWH , Yah·weh אֶתְוַדָּ֔ע will reveal Myself ’eṯ·wad·dā‘ אֵלָ֣יו to him ’ê·lāw בַּמַּרְאָה֙ in a vision ; bam·mar·’āh אֲדַבֶּר־ I will speak ’ă·ḏab·ber- בּֽוֹ׃ to him bōw בַּחֲל֖וֹם in a dream . ba·ḥă·lō·wm Numbers 12:7 לֹא־ [But this is] not lō- כֵ֖ן so ḵên עַבְדִּ֣י with My servant ‘aḇ·dî מֹשֶׁ֑ה Moses ; mō·šeh הֽוּא׃ he hū נֶאֱמָ֥ן is faithful ne·’ĕ·mān בְּכָל־ in all bə·ḵāl בֵּיתִ֖י My house . bê·ṯî
