תָמִ֔יד continually ; ṯā·mîḏ הֶעָנָ֖ן the cloud he·‘ā·nān יְכַסֶּ֑נּוּ would cover [the tabernacle] [by day] , yə·ḵas·sen·nū לָֽיְלָה׃ and at night lā·yə·lāh וּמַרְאֵה־ it would appear ū·mar·’êh- אֵ֖שׁ like fire . ’êš Numbers 9:17 וּלְפִ֞י Whenever ū·lə·p̄î הֶֽעָנָן֙ the cloud he·‘ā·nān הֵעָלֹ֤ת was lifted hê·‘ā·lōṯ מֵעַ֣ל from above mê·‘al הָאֹ֔הֶל the Tent , hā·’ō·hel וְאַ֣חֲרֵי־ . . . wə·’a·ḥă·rê- כֵ֔ן . . . ḵên בְּנֵ֣י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl יִסְע֖וּ would set out , yis·‘ū וּבִמְק֗וֹם and wherever ū·ḇim·qō·wm אֲשֶׁ֤ר - ’ă·šer הֶֽעָנָ֔ן the cloud he·‘ā·nān שָׁ֥ם . . . šām יִשְׁכָּן־ settled , yiš·kān- שָׁם֙ there šām בְּנֵ֥י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ . . . yiś·rā·’êl יַחֲנ֖וּ would camp . ya·ḥă·nū Numbers 9:18 עַל־ At ‘al- יְהוָ֗ה YHWH’s Yah·weh פִּ֣י command pî בְּנֵ֣י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl יִסְעוּ֙ set out , yis·‘ū וְעַל־ and at wə·‘al- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH’s Yah·weh פִּ֥י command pî יַחֲנ֑וּ they camped . ya·ḥă·nū כָּל־ As long as kāl- יְמֵ֗י . . . yə·mê אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer הֶעָנָ֛ן the cloud he·‘ā·nān יִשְׁכֹּ֧ן remained yiš·kōn עַל־ over ‘al- הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן the tabernacle , ham·miš·kān יַחֲנֽוּ׃ they remained encamped . ya·ḥă·nū Numbers 9:19 הֶֽעָנָ֛ן Even when the cloud he·‘ā·nān וּבְהַאֲרִ֧יךְ lingered ū·ḇə·ha·’ă·rîḵ עַל־ over ‘al- הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן the tabernacle ham·miš·kān רַבִּ֑ים for many rab·bîm יָמִ֣ים days , yā·mîm בְנֵי־ the Israelites ḇə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְשָׁמְר֧וּ kept wə·šā·mə·rū יְהוָ֖ה YHWH’s Yah·weh מִשְׁמֶ֥רֶת charge miš·me·reṯ וְלֹ֥א and did not wə·lō יִסָּֽעוּ׃ set out . yis·sā·‘ū Numbers 9:20 וְיֵ֞שׁ Sometimes wə·yêš אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer הֶֽעָנָ֛ן the cloud he·‘ā·nān יִהְיֶ֧ה remained yih·yeh עַל־ over ‘al- הַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן the tabernacle ham·miš·kān מִסְפָּ֖ר for only a few mis·pār יָמִ֥ים days , yā·mîm יַחֲנ֔וּ and they would camp ya·ḥă·nū עַל־ at ‘al- יְהוָה֙ YHWH’s Yah·weh פִּ֤י command pî יִסָּֽעוּ׃ and set out yis·sā·‘ū וְעַל־ at wə·‘al- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH’s Yah·weh פִּ֥י command . pî Numbers 9:21 וְיֵ֞שׁ Sometimes wə·yêš אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- הֶֽעָנָן֙ the cloud he·‘ā·nān יִהְיֶ֤ה remained yih·yeh מֵעֶ֣רֶב only from evening mê·‘e·reḇ עַד־ until ‘aḏ- בֹּ֔קֶר morning , bō·qer הֶֽעָנָ֛ן and when [it] he·‘ā·nān וְנַעֲלָ֧ה lifted wə·na·‘ă·lāh בַּבֹּ֖קֶר in the morning , bab·bō·qer וְנָסָ֑עוּ they would set out . wə·nā·sā·‘ū א֚וֹ Whether ’ōw
