הַהִ֔וא but the ha·hi·w וְהָאִשָּׁ֣ה woman wə·hā·’iš·šāh תִּשָּׂ֖א shall bear tiś·śā אֶת־ her ’eṯ- עֲוֺנָֽהּ׃פ iniquity . ” ‘ă·wō·nāh Numbers 6:1 יְהוָ֖ה And YHWH Yah·weh אֶל־ . . . ’el- וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר said way·ḏab·bêr מֹשֶׁ֥ה to Moses mō·šeh לֵּאמֹֽר׃ . . . , lê·mōr Numbers 6:2 דַּבֵּר֙ “ Speak dab·bêr אֶל־ to ’el- בְּנֵ֣י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl וְאָמַרְתָּ֖ and tell wə·’ā·mar·tā אֲלֵהֶ֑ם them that ’ă·lê·hem כִּ֤י if kî אִ֣ישׁ a man ’îš אֽוֹ־ or ’ōw- אִשָּׁ֗ה woman ’iš·šāh יַפְלִא֙ makes a special yap̄·li לִנְדֹּר֙ vow , lin·dōr נֶ֣דֶר the vow ne·ḏer נָזִ֔יר of a Nazirite , nā·zîr לְהַזִּ֖יר to separate himself lə·haz·zîr לַֽיהוָֽה׃ to YHWH , Yah·weh Numbers 6:3 יַזִּ֔יר he is to abstain yaz·zîr מִיַּ֤יִן from wine mî·ya·yin וְשֵׁכָר֙ and strong drink . wə·šê·ḵār לֹ֣א He must not lō יִשְׁתֶּ֑ה drink yiš·teh חֹ֥מֶץ vinegar ḥō·meṣ יַ֛יִן made from wine ya·yin וְחֹ֥מֶץ . . . wə·ḥō·meṣ שֵׁכָ֖ר [or] strong drink , šê·ḵār לֹ֣א and he must not lō יִשְׁתֶּ֔ה drink yiš·teh וְכָל־ any wə·ḵāl עֲנָבִים֙ grape ‘ă·nā·ḇîm מִשְׁרַ֤ת juice miš·raṯ יֹאכֵֽל׃ or eat yō·ḵêl לַחִ֥ים fresh la·ḥîm וַעֲנָבִ֛ים grapes wa·‘ă·nā·ḇîm וִיבֵשִׁ֖ים or raisins wî·ḇê·šîm לֹ֥א . . . . lō Numbers 6:4 כֹּ֖ל All kōl מִכֹּל֩ mik·kōl אֲשֶׁ֨ר ’ă·šer יְמֵ֣י the days yə·mê נִזְר֑וֹ of his separation , niz·rōw לֹ֥א he is not lō יֹאכֵֽל׃ to eat yō·ḵêl יֵעָשֶׂ֜ה anything that comes from yê·‘ā·śeh מִגֶּ֣פֶן the grapevine mig·ge·p̄en הַיַּ֗יִן . . . , hay·ya·yin מֵחַרְצַנִּ֛ים not even the seeds mê·ḥar·ṣan·nîm וְעַד־ or wə·‘aḏ- זָ֖ג skins . zāḡ Numbers 6:5 כָּל־ For the entire kāl- יְמֵי֙ period yə·mê נֶ֣דֶר of his vow ne·ḏer נִזְר֔וֹ of separation , niz·rōw לֹא־ no lō- תַּ֖עַר razor ta·‘ar יַעֲבֹ֣ר shall pass ya·‘ă·ḇōr עַל־ over ‘al- רֹאשׁ֑וֹ his head . rō·šōw יִהְיֶ֔ה He must be yih·yeh קָדֹ֣שׁ holy qā·ḏōš עַד־ until ‘aḏ- הַיָּמִ֜ם the time hay·yā·mim אֲשֶׁר־ of ’ă·šer- יַזִּ֤יר his separation yaz·zîr לַיהוָה֙ to YHWH Yah·weh מְלֹ֨את is complete ; mə·lōṯ שְׂעַ֥ר he must let the hair śə·‘ar רֹאשֽׁוֹ׃ of his head rō·šōw גַּדֵּ֥ל grow gad·dêl פֶּ֖רַע long . pe·ra‘ Numbers 6:6 כָּל־ Throughout kāl- יְמֵ֥י the days yə·mê הַזִּיר֖וֹ of his separation haz·zî·rōw
