וְלֹֽא־ . . . wə·lō- עָלָ֜יו over ‘ā·lāw יִתֵּ֤ן it or put yit·tên לְבֹנָ֔ה frankincense lə·ḇō·nāh עָלָיו֙ on it , ‘ā·lāw כִּֽי־ because kî- ה֔וּא it hū מִנְחַ֤ת is a grain offering min·ḥaṯ קְנָאֹת֙ for jealousy , qə·nā·’ōṯ מִנְחַ֥ת an offering min·ḥaṯ זִכָּר֖וֹן of memorial zik·kā·rō·wn מַזְכֶּ֥רֶת as a reminder maz·ke·reṯ עָוֺֽן׃ of iniquity . ‘ā·wōn Numbers 5:16 הַכֹּהֵ֑ן The priest hak·kō·hên וְהִקְרִ֥יב is to bring [the wife] forward wə·hiq·rîḇ אֹתָ֖הּ - ’ō·ṯāh וְהֶֽעֱמִדָ֖הּ and have her stand wə·he·‘ĕ·mi·ḏāh לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh Numbers 5:17 הַכֹּהֵ֛ן Then [he] hak·kō·hên וְלָקַ֧ח is to take wə·lā·qaḥ קְדֹשִׁ֖ים [some] holy qə·ḏō·šîm מַ֥יִם water ma·yim חָ֑רֶשׂ in a clay ḥā·reś בִּכְלִי־ jar biḵ·lî- יִקַּ֥ח - yiq·qaḥ הַכֹּהֵ֖ן - hak·kō·hên וְנָתַ֥ן and put wə·nā·ṯan וּמִן־ some of ū·min- הֶֽעָפָ֗ר the dust he·‘ā·p̄ār אֲשֶׁ֤ר - ’ă·šer יִהְיֶה֙ - yih·yeh הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן from the tabernacle ham·miš·kān בְּקַרְקַ֣ע floor bə·qar·qa‘ אֶל־ into ’el- הַמָּֽיִם׃ the water . ham·mā·yim Numbers 5:18 הַכֹּהֵ֥ן After the priest hak·kō·hên אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- הָאִשָּׁה֮ has the woman hā·’iš·šāh וְהֶעֱמִ֨יד stand wə·he·‘ĕ·mîḏ לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê יְהוָה֒ YHWH , Yah·weh וּפָרַע֙ he is to let down ū·p̄ā·ra‘ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה her hā·’iš·šāh רֹ֣אשׁ hair rōš וְנָתַ֣ן and place wə·nā·ṯan עַל־ in ‘al- כַּפֶּ֗יהָ her hands kap·pe·hā אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ מִנְחַ֣ת the grain offering min·ḥaṯ הַזִּכָּר֔וֹן of memorial , haz·zik·kā·rō·wn הִ֑וא which hî מִנְחַ֥ת is the grain offering min·ḥaṯ קְנָאֹ֖ת for jealousy . qə·nā·’ōṯ הַכֹּהֵן֙ The priest hak·kō·hên יִהְי֔וּ is yih·yū וּבְיַ֤ד to hold ū·ḇə·yaḏ הַמָּרִ֖ים the bitter ham·mā·rîm מֵ֥י water mê הַמְאָֽרֲרִֽים׃ that brings a curse . ham·’ā·ră·rîm Numbers 5:19 הַכֹּהֵ֗ן And [he] hak·kō·hên וְהִשְׁבִּ֨יעַ is to put the woman under oath wə·hiš·bî·a‘ אֹתָ֜הּ - ’ō·ṯāh וְאָמַ֤ר and say wə·’ā·mar אֶל־ to ’el- הָֽאִשָּׁה֙ her , hā·’iš·šāh אִם־ ‘ If ’im- לֹ֨א no other lō אִישׁ֙ man ’îš אֹתָ֔ךְ . . . ’ō·ṯāḵ שָׁכַ֥ב has slept with you šā·ḵaḇ וְאִם־ and wə·’im- לֹ֥א you have not lō שָׂטִ֛ית gone astray śā·ṭîṯ טֻמְאָ֖ה and become defiled ṭum·’āh תַּ֣חַת while under ta·ḥaṯ אִישֵׁ֑ךְ your husband’s authority , ’î·šêḵ הִנָּקִ֕י may you be immune hin·nā·qî הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ to this hā·’êl·leh הַמָּרִ֥ים bitter ham·mā·rîm מִמֵּ֛י water mim·mê הַֽמְאָרֲרִ֖ים that brings a curse . ham·’ā·ră·rîm Numbers 5:20 כִּ֥י But if kî וְאַ֗תְּ you wə·’at
