בְּנֵֽי־ vvv bə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל on behalf of the Israelites yiś·rā·’êl עוֹלָֽם׃ as a permanent ‘ō·w·lām בְּרִ֥ית covenant . bə·rîṯ Leviticus 24:9 וְהָֽיְתָה֙ It belongs to wə·hā·yə·ṯāh לְאַהֲרֹ֣ן Aaron lə·’a·hă·rōn וּלְבָנָ֔יו and his sons , ū·lə·ḇā·nāw וַאֲכָלֻ֖הוּ who are to eat wa·’ă·ḵā·lu·hū קָדֹ֑שׁ it in a holy qā·ḏōš בְּמָק֣וֹם place ; bə·mā·qō·wm כִּ֡י for kî ה֥וּא it [is] hū ל֛וֹ to him lōw קֹדֶשׁ֩ a most qō·ḏeš קָֽדָשִׁ֨ים holy [part] qā·ḏā·šîm מֵאִשֵּׁ֥י of the offerings made by fire mê·’iš·šê יְהוָ֖ה to YHWH — Yah·weh חָק־ [his] portion ḥāq- עוֹלָֽם׃ס forever . ” ‘ō·w·lām Leviticus 24:10 בֶּן־ Now the son ben- יִשְׂרְאֵלִ֔ית of an Israelite yiś·rə·’ê·lîṯ וְהוּא֙ . . . wə·hū בֶּן־ ben- אִשָּׁ֣ה mother ’iš·šāh מִצְרִ֔י and an Egyptian miṣ·rî אִ֣ישׁ father ’îš וַיֵּצֵא֙ went out way·yê·ṣê בְּת֖וֹךְ among bə·ṯō·wḵ בְּנֵ֣י vvv bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל the Israelites , yiś·rā·’êl וַיִּנָּצוּ֙ and a fight broke out way·yin·nā·ṣū בַּֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה in the camp bam·ma·ḥă·neh בֶּ֚ן [between him] ben הַיִּשְׂרְאֵלִ֔ית . . . hay·yiś·rə·’ê·lîṯ הַיִּשְׂרְאֵלִֽי׃ and an Israelite hay·yiś·rə·’ê·lî וְאִ֖ישׁ - . wə·’îš Leviticus 24:11 בֶּן־ The son ben- הַיִּשְׂרְאֵלִ֤ית of the Israelite hay·yiś·rə·’ê·lîṯ הָֽאִשָּׁ֨ה woman hā·’iš·šāh אֶת־ ’eṯ- וַ֠יִּקֹּב blasphemed way·yiq·qōḇ הַשֵּׁם֙ the Name haš·šêm וַיְקַלֵּ֔ל with a curse . way·qal·lêl וַיָּבִ֥יאוּ So they brought way·yā·ḇî·’ū אֹת֖וֹ him ’ō·ṯōw אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֑ה Moses . mō·šeh אִמּ֛וֹ (His mother’s ’im·mōw וְשֵׁ֥ם name wə·šêm שְׁלֹמִ֥ית was Shelomith šə·lō·mîṯ בַּת־ daughter baṯ- דִּבְרִ֖י of Dibri , diḇ·rî לְמַטֵּה־ of the tribe lə·maṭ·ṭêh- דָֽן׃ of Dan .) ḏān Leviticus 24:12 וַיַּנִּיחֻ֖הוּ They placed him way·yan·nî·ḥu·hū בַּמִּשְׁמָ֑ר in custody bam·miš·mār פִּ֥י until the will pî יְהוָֽה׃פ of YHWH Yah·weh לִפְרֹ֥שׁ should be made clear lip̄·rōš לָהֶ֖ם to them lā·hem עַל־ . . . . ‘al- Leviticus 24:13 יְהוָ֖ה Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר said way·ḏab·bêr אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֥ה Moses mō·šeh לֵּאמֹֽר׃ . . . , lê·mōr Leviticus 24:14 הוֹצֵ֣א “ Take hō·w·ṣê אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַֽמְקַלֵּ֗ל the blasphemer ham·qal·lêl אֶל־ - ’el- מִחוּץ֙ outside mi·ḥūṣ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה the camp , lam·ma·ḥă·neh כָֽל־ and have all ḵāl הַשֹּׁמְעִ֛ים who heard haš·šō·mə·‘îm אֶת־ him ’eṯ- וְסָמְכ֧וּ lay wə·sā·mə·ḵū יְדֵיהֶ֖ם their hands yə·ḏê·hem עַל־ on ‘al- רֹאשׁ֑וֹ his head ; rō·šōw כָּל־ then have the whole kāl- הָעֵדָֽה׃ assembly hā·‘ê·ḏāh וְרָגְמ֥וּ stone wə·rā·ḡə·mū
