Leviticus 24:2 צַ֞ו “ Command ṣaw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּנֵ֣י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl וְיִקְח֨וּ to bring wə·yiq·ḥū אֵלֶ֜יךָ you ’ê·le·ḵā זָ֛ךְ pure zāḵ שֶׁ֣מֶן oil še·men כָּתִ֖ית of pressed kā·ṯîṯ זַ֥יִת olives za·yiṯ לַמָּא֑וֹר for the light , lam·mā·’ō·wr נֵ֖ר to keep the lamps nêr לְהַעֲלֹ֥ת burning lə·ha·‘ă·lōṯ תָּמִֽיד׃ continually . tā·mîḏ Leviticus 24:3 מִחוּץ֩ Outside mi·ḥūṣ לְפָרֹ֨כֶת the veil lə·p̄ā·rō·ḵeṯ הָעֵדֻ֜ת of the Testimony hā·‘ê·ḏuṯ בְּאֹ֣הֶל in the Tent bə·’ō·hel מוֹעֵ֗ד of Meeting , mō·w·‘êḏ אַהֲרֹ֜ן Aaron ’a·hă·rōn יַעֲרֹךְ֩ is to tend ya·‘ă·rōḵ אֹת֨וֹ the lamps ’ō·ṯōw תָּמִ֑יד continually tā·mîḏ לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh מֵעֶ֧רֶב from evening mê·‘e·reḇ עַד־ until ‘aḏ- בֹּ֛קֶר morning . bō·qer עוֹלָ֖ם This is to be a permanent ‘ō·w·lām חֻקַּ֥ת statute ḥuq·qaṯ לְדֹרֹֽתֵיכֶֽם׃ for the generations to come . lə·ḏō·rō·ṯê·ḵem Leviticus 24:4 יַעֲרֹ֖ךְ He shall tend ya·‘ă·rōḵ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַנֵּר֑וֹת the lamps han·nê·rō·wṯ עַ֚ל on ‘al הַטְּהֹרָ֔ה the pure [gold] haṭ·ṭə·hō·rāh הַמְּנֹרָ֣ה lampstand ham·mə·nō·rāh לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh תָּמִֽיד׃פ continually . tā·mîḏ Leviticus 24:5 וְלָקַחְתָּ֣ You are also to take wə·lā·qaḥ·tā סֹ֔לֶת fine flour sō·leṯ וְאָפִיתָ֣ and bake wə·’ā·p̄î·ṯā אֹתָ֔הּ - ’ō·ṯāh שְׁתֵּ֥ים twelve šə·têm עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה . . . ‘eś·rêh חַלּ֑וֹת loaves , ḥal·lō·wṯ יִהְיֶ֖ה using yih·yeh שְׁנֵי֙ two-tenths of an ephah šə·nê עֶשְׂרֹנִ֔ים . . . ‘eś·rō·nîm הָאֶחָֽת׃ for each hā·’e·ḥāṯ הַֽחַלָּ֥ה loaf , ha·ḥal·lāh Leviticus 24:6 וְשַׂמְתָּ֥ and set wə·śam·tā אוֹתָ֛ם them ’ō·w·ṯām שְׁתַּ֥יִם in two šə·ta·yim מַֽעֲרָכ֖וֹת rows — ma·‘ă·rā·ḵō·wṯ שֵׁ֣שׁ six šêš הַֽמַּעֲרָ֑כֶת per row — ham·ma·‘ă·rā·ḵeṯ עַ֛ל on ‘al הַשֻּׁלְחָ֥ן the table haš·šul·ḥān הַטָּהֹ֖ר of pure gold haṭ·ṭā·hōr לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh Leviticus 24:7 וְנָתַתָּ֥ And you are to place wə·nā·ṯa·tā זַכָּ֑ה pure zak·kāh לְבֹנָ֣ה frankincense lə·ḇō·nāh עַל־ near ‘al- הַֽמַּעֲרֶ֖כֶת each row , ham·ma·‘ă·re·ḵeṯ וְהָיְתָ֤ה so that it may serve wə·hā·yə·ṯāh לְאַזְכָּרָ֔ה as a memorial portion lə·’az·kā·rāh לַלֶּ֙חֶם֙ for the bread , lal·le·ḥem אִשֶּׁ֖ה an offering made by fire ’iš·šeh לַֽיהוָֽה׃ to YHWH . Yah·weh Leviticus 24:8 בְּי֨וֹם Every Sabbath day bə·yō·wm הַשַּׁבָּ֜ת . . . haš·šab·bāṯ בְּי֣וֹם . . . bə·yō·wm הַשַּׁבָּ֗ת . . . haš·šab·bāṯ יַֽעַרְכֶ֛נּוּ the bread is to be set out ya·‘ar·ḵen·nū לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh תָּמִ֑יד . . . tā·mîḏ מֵאֵ֥ת . . . mê·’êṯ
