Leviticus 20:4 וְאִ֡ם And if wə·’im עַ֨ם the people ‘am הָאָ֜רֶץ of the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַעְלֵ֣ם ever hide ha‘·lêm יַעְלִימֽוּ֩ ya‘·lî·mū עֵֽינֵיהֶם֙ their eyes ‘ê·nê·hem לְבִלְתִּ֖י and fail lə·ḇil·tî הָמִ֥ית to put to death hā·mîṯ אֹתֽוֹ׃ - ’ō·ṯōw מִן־ - min- הָאִ֣ישׁ the man hā·’îš הַה֔וּא who ha·hū בְּתִתּ֥וֹ gives bə·ṯit·tōw מִזַּרְע֖וֹ one of his children miz·zar·‘ōw לַמֹּ֑לֶךְ to Molech , lam·mō·leḵ Leviticus 20:5 אֲנִ֧י then I ’ă·nî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְשַׂמְתִּ֨י will set wə·śam·tî פָּנַ֛י My face pā·nay הַה֖וּא against that ha·hū בָּאִ֥ישׁ man bā·’îš וּבְמִשְׁפַּחְתּ֑וֹ and his family ū·ḇə·miš·paḥ·tōw וְהִכְרַתִּ֨י and cut off wə·hiḵ·rat·tî אֹת֜וֹ - ’ō·ṯōw וְאֵ֣ת׀ - wə·’êṯ מִקֶּ֥רֶב from among miq·qe·reḇ עַמָּֽם׃ their people ‘am·mām כָּל־ both him and all kāl- אַחֲרָ֗יו who follow him ’a·ḥă·rāw הַזֹּנִ֣ים in prostituting themselves haz·zō·nîm לִזְנ֛וֹת . . . liz·nō·wṯ אַחֲרֵ֥י with ’a·ḥă·rê הַמֹּ֖לֶךְ Molech . ham·mō·leḵ Leviticus 20:6 וְהַנֶּ֗פֶשׁ Whoever wə·han·ne·p̄eš אֲשֶׁ֨ר ’ă·šer תִּפְנֶ֤ה turns tip̄·neh אֶל־ to ’el- הָֽאֹבֹת֙ mediums hā·’ō·ḇōṯ וְאֶל־ . . . wə·’el- הַיִּדְּעֹנִ֔ים or spiritists hay·yid·də·‘ō·nîm לִזְנ֖וֹת to prostitute himself liz·nō·wṯ אַחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם with them , ’a·ḥă·rê·hem וְנָתַתִּ֤י I will also set wə·nā·ṯat·tî אֶת־ ’eṯ- פָּנַי֙ My face pā·nay בַּנֶּ֣פֶשׁ against that person ban·ne·p̄eš הַהִ֔וא . . . ha·hi·w וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י and cut him off wə·hiḵ·rat·tî אֹת֖וֹ - ’ō·ṯōw מִקֶּ֥רֶב from miq·qe·reḇ עַמּֽוֹ׃ his people . ‘am·mōw Leviticus 20:7 וְהִ֨תְקַדִּשְׁתֶּ֔ם Consecrate yourselves , wə·hiṯ·qad·diš·tem וִהְיִיתֶ֖ם therefore, and be wih·yî·ṯem קְדֹשִׁ֑ים holy , qə·ḏō·šîm כִּ֛י because kî אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî יְהוָ֖ה am YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ your God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem Leviticus 20:8 וּשְׁמַרְתֶּם֙ And you shall keep ū·šə·mar·tem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- חֻקֹּתַ֔י My statutes ḥuq·qō·ṯay וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖ם and practice them . wa·‘ă·śî·ṯem אֹתָ֑ם - ’ō·ṯām אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî יְהוָ֖ה am YHWH Yah·weh מְקַדִּשְׁכֶֽם׃ who sanctifies you . mə·qad·diš·ḵem Leviticus 20:9 כִּֽי־ If kî- אִ֣ישׁ anyone ’îš אִ֗ישׁ . . . ’îš אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer יְקַלֵּ֧ל curses yə·qal·lêl אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אָבִ֛יו his father ’ā·ḇîw וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- אִמּ֖וֹ or mother , ’im·mōw מ֣וֹת he must be put to death mō·wṯ יוּמָ֑ת . . . . yū·māṯ קִלֵּ֖ל He has cursed qil·lêl אָבִ֧יו his father ’ā·ḇîw וְאִמּ֛וֹ or mother ; wə·’im·mōw דָּמָ֥יו his blood dā·māw בּֽוֹ׃ [shall be] upon him . bōw
