Exodus 30:7 אַהֲרֹ֖ן And Aaron ’a·hă·rōn וְהִקְטִ֥יר is to burn wə·hiq·ṭîr סַמִּ֑ים fragrant sam·mîm קְטֹ֣רֶת incense qə·ṭō·reṯ עָלָ֛יו on it ‘ā·lāw יַקְטִירֶֽנָּה׃ - yaq·ṭî·ren·nāh בַּבֹּ֣קֶר every morning bab·bō·qer בַּבֹּ֗קֶר . . . bab·bō·qer בְּהֵיטִיב֛וֹ when he tends bə·hê·ṭî·ḇōw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַנֵּרֹ֖ת the lamps . han·nê·rōṯ Exodus 30:8 אַהֲרֹ֧ן When Aaron ’a·hă·rōn אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וּבְהַעֲלֹ֨ת sets up ū·ḇə·ha·‘ă·lōṯ הַנֵּרֹ֛ת the lamps han·nê·rōṯ בֵּ֥ין at bên הָעֲרְבַּ֖יִם twilight , hā·‘ăr·ba·yim יַקְטִירֶ֑נָּה he must burn yaq·ṭî·ren·nāh קְטֹ֧רֶת the incense qə·ṭō·reṯ תָּמִ֛יד perpetually tā·mîḏ לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ for the generations to come . lə·ḏō·rō·ṯê·ḵem Exodus 30:9 עָלָ֛יו On [this altar] ‘ā·lāw לֹא־ you must not lō- תַעֲל֥וּ offer ṯa·‘ă·lū זָרָ֖ה unauthorized zā·rāh קְטֹ֥רֶת incense qə·ṭō·reṯ וְעֹלָ֣ה or a burnt offering wə·‘ō·lāh וּמִנְחָ֑ה or grain offering ; ū·min·ḥāh לֹ֥א nor are you lō תִסְּכ֖וּ to pour ṯis·sə·ḵū וְנֵ֕סֶךְ a drink offering wə·nê·seḵ עָלָֽיו׃ on it . ‘ā·lāw Exodus 30:10 אַחַ֖ת Once ’a·ḥaṯ בַּשָּׁנָ֑ה a year baš·šā·nāh אַהֲרֹן֙ Aaron ’a·hă·rōn וְכִפֶּ֤ר shall make atonement wə·ḵip·per עַל־ on ‘al- קַרְנֹתָ֔יו the horns [of the altar] . qar·nō·ṯāw לְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם Throughout your generations lə·ḏō·rō·ṯê·ḵem יְכַפֵּ֤ר he shall make atonement yə·ḵap·pêr עָלָיו֙ on it ‘ā·lāw אַחַ֤ת annually ’a·ḥaṯ בַּשָּׁנָה֙ . . . baš·šā·nāh מִדַּ֞ם with the blood mid·dam חַטַּ֣את of the sin offering ḥaṭ·ṭaṯ הַכִּפֻּרִ֗ים of atonement . hak·kip·pu·rîm ה֖וּא The altar [is] hū קֹֽדֶשׁ־ most qō·ḏeš- קָֽדָשִׁ֥ים holy qā·ḏā·šîm לַיהוָֽה׃פ to YHWH . ” Yah·weh Exodus 30:11 יְהוָ֖ה Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר said way·ḏab·bêr אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֥ה Moses mō·šeh לֵּאמֹֽר׃ . . . , lê·mōr Exodus 30:12 כִּ֣י “ When kî תִשָּׂ֞א you take a census ṯiś·śā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- רֹ֥אשׁ - rōš בְּנֵֽי־ vvv bə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֘ל of the Israelites yiś·rå̄·ʾēl לִפְקֻדֵיהֶם֒ to number them , lip̄·qu·ḏê·hem אִ֣ישׁ each man ’îš וְנָ֨תְנ֜וּ must pay wə·nā·ṯə·nū לַיהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh כֹּ֧פֶר a ransom kō·p̄er נַפְשׁ֛וֹ for his life nap̄·šōw בִּפְקֹ֣ד when he is counted . bip̄·qōḏ אֹתָ֑ם - ’ō·ṯām וְלֹא־ Then no wə·lō- נֶ֖גֶף plague ne·ḡep̄ יִהְיֶ֥ה will come yih·yeh בָהֶ֛ם upon them ḇā·hem בִּפְקֹ֥ד when they are numbered bip̄·qōḏ אֹתָֽם׃ - . ’ō·ṯām Exodus 30:13 זֶ֣ה׀ - zeh כָּל־ Everyone kāl- הָעֹבֵר֙ who crosses hā·‘ō·ḇêr עַל־ over ‘al-
