מִתּ֛וֹךְ from among mit·tō·wḵ בְּנֵ֥י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל . . . , yiś·rā·’êl אִתּ֔וֹ along with ’it·tōw בָּנָ֣יו his sons bā·nāw אַהֲרֹֽן׃ - ’a·hă·rōn בְּנֵ֥י - bə·nê נָדָ֧ב Nadab , nā·ḏāḇ וַאֲבִיה֛וּא Abihu , wa·’ă·ḇî·hū אֶלְעָזָ֥ר Eleazar , ’el·‘ā·zār וְאִיתָמָ֖ר and Ithamar wə·’î·ṯā·mār לִ֑י , lî אַהֲרֹ֕ן - ’a·hă·rōn לְכַהֲנוֹ־ to serve Me as priests . lə·ḵa·hă·nōw- Exodus 28:2 וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ Make wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā קֹ֖דֶשׁ holy qō·ḏeš בִגְדֵי־ garments ḇiḡ·ḏê- אָחִ֑יךָ for your brother ’ā·ḥî·ḵā לְאַהֲרֹ֣ן Aaron , lə·’a·hă·rōn לְכָב֖וֹד to give him glory lə·ḵā·ḇō·wḏ וּלְתִפְאָֽרֶת׃ and splendor . ū·lə·ṯip̄·’ā·reṯ Exodus 28:3 וְאַתָּ֗ה You wə·’at·tāh תְּדַבֵּר֙ are to instruct tə·ḏab·bêr אֶל־ . . . ’el- כָּל־ all kāl- חַכְמֵי־ the skilled craftsmen ḥaḵ·mê- לֵ֔ב . . . , lêḇ אֲשֶׁ֥ר whom ’ă·šer מִלֵּאתִ֖יו I have filled mil·lê·ṯîw ר֣וּחַ with a spirit rū·aḥ חָכְמָ֑ה of wisdom , ḥāḵ·māh וְעָשׂ֞וּ to make wə·‘ā·śū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בִּגְדֵ֧י garments biḡ·ḏê אַהֲרֹ֛ן for Aaron’s ’a·hă·rōn לְקַדְּשׁ֖וֹ consecration , lə·qad·də·šōw לְכַהֲנוֹ־ so that he may serve Me as priest lə·ḵa·hă·nōw- לִֽי׃ . . . . lî Exodus 28:4 וְאֵ֨לֶּה These wə·’êl·leh הַבְּגָדִ֜ים are the garments hab·bə·ḡā·ḏîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer יַעֲשׂ֗וּ they shall make : ya·‘ă·śū חֹ֤שֶׁן a breastpiece , ḥō·šen וְאֵפוֹד֙ an ephod , wə·’ê·p̄ō·wḏ וּמְעִ֔יל a robe , ū·mə·‘îl תַּשְׁבֵּ֖ץ a woven taš·bêṣ וּכְתֹ֥נֶת tunic , ū·ḵə·ṯō·neṯ מִצְנֶ֣פֶת a turban , miṣ·ne·p̄eṯ וְאַבְנֵ֑ט and a sash . wə·’aḇ·nêṭ וְעָשׂ֨וּ They are to make wə·‘ā·śū קֹ֜דֶשׁ [these] holy qō·ḏeš בִגְדֵי־ garments ḇiḡ·ḏê- אָחִ֛יךָ for your brother ’ā·ḥî·ḵā לְאַהֲרֹ֥ן Aaron lə·’a·hă·rōn וּלְבָנָ֖יו and his sons , ū·lə·ḇā·nāw לְכַהֲנוֹ־ so that they may serve Me as priests lə·ḵa·hă·nōw- לִֽי׃ . lî Exodus 28:5 וְהֵם֙ They wə·hêm יִקְח֣וּ shall use yiq·ḥū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַזָּהָ֔ב gold , haz·zā·hāḇ וְאֶת־ along with wə·’eṯ- הַתְּכֵ֖לֶת blue , hat·tə·ḵê·leṯ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הָֽאַרְגָּמָ֑ן purple , hā·’ar·gā·mān וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- תּוֹלַ֥עַת and scarlet yarn tō·w·la·‘aṯ הַשָּׁנִ֖י . . . , haš·šā·nî וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַשֵּֽׁשׁ׃פ and fine linen . haš·šêš Exodus 28:6 וְעָשׂ֖וּ They are to make wə·‘ā·śū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאֵפֹ֑ד the ephod hā·’ê·p̄ōḏ מָשְׁזָ֖ר of finely spun mā·šə·zār וְשֵׁ֥שׁ linen wə·šêš מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה embroidered ma·‘ă·śêh חֹשֵֽׁב׃ . . . ḥō·šêḇ זָ֠הָב with gold , zā·hāḇ תְּכֵ֨לֶת and with blue , tə·ḵê·leṯ וְאַרְגָּמָ֜ן purple , wə·’ar·gā·mān תּוֹלַ֧עַת and scarlet yarn tō·w·la·‘aṯ שָׁנִ֛י . . . . šā·nî
