בָכֶם֙ among you , ḇā·ḵem וְאָרוֹתִ֖י and I will curse wə·’ā·rō·w·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בִּרְכֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם your blessings . bir·ḵō·w·ṯê·ḵem וְגַם֙ Yes , wə·ḡam אָרוֹתִ֔יהָ I have already begun to curse them , ’ā·rō·w·ṯî·hā כִּ֥י because kî אֵינְכֶ֖ם you are not ’ê·nə·ḵem שָׂמִ֥ים taking śā·mîm עַל־ it to ‘al- לֵֽב׃ heart . lêḇ Malachi 2:3 הִנְנִ֨י Behold , hin·nî גֹעֵ֤ר I will rebuke ḡō·‘êr לָכֶם֙ your lā·ḵem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַזֶּ֔רַע descendants , haz·ze·ra‘ וְזֵרִ֤יתִי and I will spread wə·zê·rî·ṯî פֶ֙רֶשׁ֙ dung p̄e·reš עַל־ on ‘al- פְּנֵיכֶ֔ם your faces , pə·nê·ḵem פֶּ֖רֶשׁ the waste pe·reš חַגֵּיכֶ֑ם from your feasts , ḥag·gê·ḵem וְנָשָׂ֥א and you will be carried off wə·nā·śā אֶתְכֶ֖ם - ’eṯ·ḵem אֵלָֽיו׃ with it . ’ê·lāw Malachi 2:4 וִֽידַעְתֶּ֕ם Then you will know wî·ḏa‘·tem כִּ֚י that kî שִׁלַּ֣חְתִּי I have sent šil·laḥ·tî אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם you ’ă·lê·ḵem אֵ֖ת - ’êṯ הַזֹּ֑את this haz·zōṯ הַמִּצְוָ֣ה commandment ham·miṣ·wāh בְּרִיתִי֙ so that My covenant bə·rî·ṯî אֶת־ with ’eṯ- לֵוִ֔י Levi lê·wî לִֽהְי֤וֹת may continue , ” lih·yō·wṯ אָמַ֖ר says ’ā·mar יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָאֽוֹת׃ of Hosts . ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ Malachi 2:5 בְּרִיתִ֣י׀ “ My covenant bə·rî·ṯî אִתּ֗וֹ with him ’it·tōw הָיְתָ֣ה was hā·yə·ṯāh הַֽחַיִּים֙ [one] of life ha·ḥay·yîm וְהַ֨שָּׁל֔וֹם and peace , wə·haš·šā·lō·wm וָאֶתְּנֵֽם־ which I gave wā·’et·tə·nêm- ל֥וֹ to him ; lōw מוֹרָ֖א it called for reverence , mō·w·rā וַיִּֽירָאֵ֑נִי and he revered Me way·yî·rā·’ê·nî נִחַ֥ת and stood in awe ni·ḥaṯ הֽוּא׃ . . . hū וּמִפְּנֵ֥י . . . ū·mip·pə·nê שְׁמִ֖י of My name . šə·mî Malachi 2:6 אֱמֶת֙ True ’ĕ·meṯ תּוֹרַ֤ת instruction tō·w·raṯ הָיְתָ֣ה was hā·yə·ṯāh בְּפִ֔יהוּ in his mouth , bə·p̄î·hū לֹא־ and nothing lō- וְעַוְלָ֖ה false wə·‘aw·lāh נִמְצָ֣א was found nim·ṣā בִשְׂפָתָ֑יו on his lips . ḇiś·p̄ā·ṯāw הָלַ֣ךְ He walked hā·laḵ אִתִּ֔י with Me ’it·tî בְּשָׁל֤וֹם in peace bə·šā·lō·wm וּבְמִישׁוֹר֙ and uprightness , ū·ḇə·mî·šō·wr הֵשִׁ֥יב and he turned hê·šîḇ וְרַבִּ֖ים many wə·rab·bîm מֵעָוֺֽן׃ from iniquity . mê·‘ā·wōn Malachi 2:7 כִּֽי־ For kî- שִׂפְתֵ֤י the lips śip̄·ṯê כֹהֵן֙ of a priest ḵō·hên יִשְׁמְרוּ־ should preserve yiš·mə·rū- דַ֔עַת knowledge , ḏa·‘aṯ יְבַקְשׁ֣וּ and people should seek yə·ḇaq·šū וְתוֹרָ֖ה instruction wə·ṯō·w·rāh מִפִּ֑יהוּ from his mouth , mip·pî·hū כִּ֛י because kî הֽוּא׃ he hū מַלְאַ֥ךְ is the messenger mal·’aḵ יְהוָֽה־ of YHWH Yah·weh- צְבָא֖וֹת of Hosts . ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ Malachi 2:8 וְאַתֶּם֙ But you wə·’at·tem סַרְתֶּ֣ם have departed sar·tem
