וַיָּבֹ֥א entered way·yā·ḇō בְּת֥וֹךְ . . . bə·ṯō·wḵ הֶעָנָ֖ן the cloud he·‘ā·nān וַיַּ֣עַל as he went up way·ya·‘al אֶל־ on ’el- הָהָ֑ר the mountain , hā·hār מֹשֶׁה֙ and he mō·šeh וַיְהִ֤י remained way·hî בָּהָ֔ר on the mountain bā·hār אַרְבָּעִ֣ים forty ’ar·bā·‘îm י֔וֹם days yō·wm וְאַרְבָּעִ֖ים and forty wə·’ar·bā·‘îm לָֽיְלָה׃פ nights . lā·yə·lāh Exodus 25:1 יְהוָ֖ה Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר said way·ḏab·bêr אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֥ה Moses mō·šeh לֵּאמֹֽר׃ . . . , lê·mōr Exodus 25:2 דַּבֵּר֙ “ Tell dab·bêr בְּנֵ֣י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl אֶל־ - ’el- וְיִקְחוּ־ to bring wə·yiq·ḥū- לִ֖י Me lî תְּרוּמָ֑ה an offering . tə·rū·māh מֵאֵ֤ת . . . mê·’êṯ תִּקְח֖וּ You are to receive tiq·ḥū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- תְּרוּמָתִֽי׃ My offering tə·rū·mā·ṯî כָּל־ from every kāl- אִישׁ֙ man ’îš אֲשֶׁ֣ר whose ’ă·šer לִבּ֔וֹ heart lib·bōw יִדְּבֶ֣נּוּ compels him . yid·də·ḇen·nū Exodus 25:3 וְזֹאת֙ This wə·zōṯ הַתְּרוּמָ֔ה is the offering hat·tə·rū·māh אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer תִּקְח֖וּ you are to accept tiq·ḥū מֵאִתָּ֑ם from them : mê·’it·tām זָהָ֥ב gold , zā·hāḇ וָכֶ֖סֶף silver , wā·ḵe·sep̄ וּנְחֹֽשֶׁת׃ and bronze ; ū·nə·ḥō·šeṯ Exodus 25:4 וּתְכֵ֧לֶת blue , ū·ṯə·ḵê·leṯ וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן purple , wə·’ar·gā·mān וְתוֹלַ֥עַת and scarlet yarn wə·ṯō·w·la·‘aṯ שָׁנִ֖י . . . ; šā·nî וְשֵׁ֥שׁ fine linen wə·šêš וְעִזִּֽים׃ and goat hair ; wə·‘iz·zîm Exodus 25:5 אֵילִ֧ם ram ’ê·lim וְעֹרֹ֨ת skins wə·‘ō·rōṯ מְאָדָּמִ֛ים dyed red mə·’ād·dā·mîm וְעֹרֹ֥ת vvv wə·‘ō·rōṯ תְּחָשִׁ֖ים and fine leather ; tə·ḥā·šîm שִׁטִּֽים׃ acacia šiṭ·ṭîm וַעֲצֵ֥י wood ; wa·‘ă·ṣê Exodus 25:6 שֶׁ֖מֶן olive oil še·men לַמָּאֹ֑ר for the light ; lam·mā·’ōr בְּשָׂמִים֙ spices bə·śā·mîm הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה for the anointing ham·miš·ḥāh לְשֶׁ֣מֶן oil lə·še·men הַסַּמִּֽים׃ and for the fragrant has·sam·mîm וְלִקְטֹ֖רֶת incense ; wə·liq·ṭō·reṯ Exodus 25:7 אַבְנֵי־ and onyx stones ’aḇ·nê- שֹׁ֕הַם . . . šō·ham וְאַבְנֵ֖י and gemstones wə·’aḇ·nê מִלֻּאִ֑ים to be mounted mil·lu·’îm לָאֵפֹ֖ד on the ephod lā·’ê·p̄ōḏ וְלַחֹֽשֶׁן׃ and breastpiece . wə·la·ḥō·šen Exodus 25:8 וְעָ֥שׂוּ And they are to make wə·‘ā·śū מִקְדָּ֑שׁ a sanctuary miq·dāš לִ֖י for Me , lî וְשָׁכַנְתִּ֖י so that I may dwell wə·šā·ḵan·tî בְּתוֹכָֽם׃ among them . bə·ṯō·w·ḵām
