עַל־ against one ‘al- יִתֵּ֣ן who puts yit·tên לֹא־ nothing lō- עָלָ֖יו in ‘ā·lāw פִּיהֶ֔ם their mouths : pî·hem Micah 3:6 לָכֵ֞ן Therefore lā·ḵên לַ֤יְלָה night lay·lāh לָכֶם֙ will come over you lā·ḵem מֵֽחָז֔וֹן without visions , mê·ḥā·zō·wn וְחָשְׁכָ֥ה and darkness wə·ḥā·šə·ḵāh לָכֶ֖ם lā·ḵem מִקְּסֹ֑ם without divination . miq·qə·sōm הַשֶּׁ֙מֶשׁ֙ The sun haš·še·meš וּבָ֤אָה will set ū·ḇā·’āh עַל־ on ‘al- הַנְּבִיאִ֔ים these prophets , han·nə·ḇî·’îm הַיּֽוֹם׃ and the daylight hay·yō·wm וְקָדַ֥ר will turn black wə·qā·ḏar עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם over them . ‘ă·lê·hem Micah 3:7 הַחֹזִ֗ים Then the seers ha·ḥō·zîm וּבֹ֣שׁוּ will be ashamed ū·ḇō·šū הַקֹּ֣סְמִ֔ים and the diviners haq·qō·sə·mîm וְחָֽפְרוּ֙ will be disgraced . wə·ḥā·p̄ə·rū כֻּלָּ֑ם They will all kul·lām וְעָט֥וּ cover wə·‘ā·ṭū עַל־ . . . ‘al- שָׂפָ֖ם their mouths śā·p̄ām כִּ֛י because kî אֵ֥ין [there is] no ’ên מַעֲנֵ֖ה answer ma·‘ă·nêh אֱלֹהִֽים׃ from God . ” ’ĕ·lō·hîm Micah 3:8 אָנֹכִ֞י As for me , ’ā·nō·ḵî וְאוּלָ֗ם however , wə·’ū·lām מָלֵ֤אתִי I am filled mā·lê·ṯî כֹ֙חַ֙ with power ḵō·aḥ אֶת־ by ’eṯ- ר֣וּחַ the Spirit rū·aḥ יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH , Yah·weh וּמִשְׁפָּ֖ט with justice ū·miš·pāṭ וּגְבוּרָ֑ה and courage , ū·ḡə·ḇū·rāh לְהַגִּ֤יד to declare lə·hag·gîḏ לְיַֽעֲקֹב֙ to Jacob lə·ya·‘ă·qōḇ פִּשְׁע֔וֹ his transgression piš·‘ōw וּלְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל and to Israel ū·lə·yiś·rā·’êl חַטָּאתֽוֹ׃ס his sin . ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯōw Micah 3:9 נָ֣א Now nā שִׁמְעוּ־ hear šim·‘ū- זֹ֗את this , zōṯ רָאשֵׁי֙ O leaders rā·šê בֵּ֣ית of the house bêṯ יַעֲקֹ֔ב of Jacob ya·‘ă·qōḇ וּקְצִינֵ֖י and rulers ū·qə·ṣî·nê בֵּ֣ית of the house bêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl הַֽמֲתַעֲבִ֣ים who despise ha·mă·ṯa·‘ă·ḇîm מִשְׁפָּ֔ט justice miš·pāṭ וְאֵ֥ת - wə·’êṯ יְעַקֵּֽשׁוּ׃ and pervert yə·‘aq·qê·šū כָּל־ all kāl- הַיְשָׁרָ֖ה that is right , hay·šā·rāh Micah 3:10 בֹּנֶ֥ה who build bō·neh צִיּ֖וֹן Zion ṣî·yō·wn בְּדָמִ֑ים with bloodshed bə·ḏā·mîm וִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם and Jerusalem wî·rū·šā·lim בְּעַוְלָֽה׃ with iniquity . bə·‘aw·lāh Micah 3:11 רָאשֶׁ֣יהָ׀ Her leaders rā·še·hā יִשְׁפֹּ֗טוּ judge yiš·pō·ṭū בְּשֹׁ֣חַד for a bribe , bə·šō·ḥaḏ וְכֹהֲנֶ֙יהָ֙ her priests wə·ḵō·hă·ne·hā יוֹר֔וּ teach yō·w·rū בִּמְחִ֣יר for a price , bim·ḥîr וּנְבִיאֶ֖יהָ and her prophets ū·nə·ḇî·’e·hā יִקְסֹ֑מוּ practice divination yiq·sō·mū בְּכֶ֣סֶף for money . bə·ḵe·sep̄ יִשָּׁעֵ֣נוּ Yet they lean yiš·šā·‘ê·nū וְעַל־ upon wə·‘al- יְהוָה֙ YHWH , Yah·weh לֵאמֹ֔ר saying , lê·mōr הֲל֤וֹא “ Is not hă·lō·w יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh בְּקִרְבֵּ֔נוּ among us ? bə·qir·bê·nū לֹֽא־ No lō-
