Micah 2:13 הַפֹּרֵץ֙ One who breaks open the way hap·pō·rêṣ עָלָ֤ה will go up ‘ā·lāh לִפְנֵיהֶ֔ם before them ; lip̄·nê·hem פָּֽרְצוּ֙ they will break pā·rə·ṣū וַֽיַּעֲבֹ֔רוּ through way·ya·‘ă·ḇō·rū שַׁ֖עַר the gate , ša·‘ar וַיֵּ֣צְאוּ and go out way·yê·ṣə·’ū ב֑וֹ by it . ḇōw מַלְכָּם֙ Their King mal·kām וַיַּעֲבֹ֤ר will pass through way·ya·‘ă·ḇōr לִפְנֵיהֶ֔ם before them , lip̄·nê·hem וַיהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh בְּרֹאשָֽׁם׃פ as their leader . bə·rō·šām Micah 3:1 וָאֹמַ֗ר Then I said : wā·’ō·mar שִׁמְעוּ־ “ Hear šim·‘ū- נָא֙ now , nā רָאשֵׁ֣י O leaders rā·šê יַעֲקֹ֔ב of Jacob , ya·‘ă·qōḇ וּקְצִינֵ֖י you rulers ū·qə·ṣî·nê בֵּ֣ית of the house bêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel . yiś·rā·’êl הֲל֣וֹא Should you not hă·lō·w לָכֶ֔ם . . . lā·ḵem לָדַ֖עַת know lā·ḏa·‘aṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃ justice ? ham·miš·pāṭ Micah 3:2 שֹׂ֥נְאֵי You hate śō·nə·’ê ט֖וֹב good ṭō·wḇ וְאֹ֣הֲבֵי and love wə·’ō·hă·ḇê רָעָה evil . rå̄·ʿå̄h גֹּזְלֵ֤י You tear gō·zə·lê עוֹרָם֙ the skin ‘ō·w·rām מֵֽעֲלֵיהֶ֔ם from my people mê·‘ă·lê·hem וּשְׁאֵרָ֖ם and strip the flesh ū·šə·’ê·rām מֵעַ֥ל from mê·‘al עַצְמוֹתָֽם׃ their bones . ‘aṣ·mō·w·ṯām Micah 3:3 וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר - wa·’ă·šer אָכְלוּ֮ You eat ’ā·ḵə·lū שְׁאֵ֣ר the flesh šə·’êr עַמִּי֒ of my people ‘am·mî הִפְשִׁ֔יטוּ after stripping off hip̄·šî·ṭū וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- וְעוֹרָם֙ their skin wə·‘ō·w·rām מֵעֲלֵיהֶ֣ם . . . mê·‘ă·lê·hem פִּצֵּ֑חוּ and breaking piṣ·ṣê·ḥū עַצְמֹֽתֵיהֶ֖ם their bones . ‘aṣ·mō·ṯê·hem וּפָרְשׂוּ֙ You chop them up ū·p̄ā·rə·śū כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר like [flesh] ka·’ă·šer בַּסִּ֔יר for the [cooking] pot , bas·sîr וּכְבָשָׂ֖ר like meat ū·ḵə·ḇā·śār בְּת֥וֹךְ in bə·ṯō·wḵ קַלָּֽחַת׃ a cauldron . ” qal·lā·ḥaṯ Micah 3:4 אָ֚ז Then ’āz יִזְעֲק֣וּ they will cry out yiz·‘ă·qū אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh וְלֹ֥א but He will not wə·lō יַעֲנֶ֖ה answer ya·‘ă·neh אוֹתָ֑ם them . ’ō·w·ṯām הַהִ֔יא At that ha·hî בָּעֵ֣ת time bā·‘êṯ וְיַסְתֵּ֨ר He will hide wə·yas·têr פָּנָ֤יו His face pā·nāw מֵהֶם֙ from them mê·hem כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר because of ka·’ă·šer הֵרֵ֖עוּ the evil hê·rê·‘ū מַעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃פ they have done . ma·‘al·lê·hem Micah 3:5 כֹּ֚ה This is what kōh יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar עַל־ “ As for ‘al- הַנְּבִיאִ֖ים the prophets han·nə·ḇî·’îm עַמִּ֑י who lead My people ‘am·mî הַמַּתְעִ֣ים astray , ham·maṯ·‘îm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְקָרְא֣וּ who proclaim wə·qā·rə·’ū שָׁל֔וֹם peace šā·lō·wm וַאֲשֶׁר֙ - wa·’ă·šer הַנֹּשְׁכִ֤ים while they chew han·nō·šə·ḵîm בְּשִׁנֵּיהֶם֙ with their teeth , bə·šin·nê·hem וְקִדְּשׁ֥וּ but declare wə·qid·də·šū מִלְחָמָֽה׃ war mil·ḥā·māh
