Amos 3:13 שִׁמְע֥וּ Hear šim·‘ū וְהָעִ֖ידוּ and testify wə·hā·‘î·ḏū בְּבֵ֣ית against the house bə·ḇêṯ יַֽעֲקֹ֑ב of Jacob , ya·‘ă·qōḇ נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- אֲדֹנָ֥י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֖ה YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֥י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê הַצְּבָאֽוֹת׃ of Hosts . haṣ·ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ Amos 3:14 כִּ֗י - kî בְּי֛וֹם On the day bə·yō·wm פָּקְדִ֥י I punish pā·qə·ḏî יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl פִשְׁעֵֽי־ for their transgressions p̄iš·‘ê- עָלָ֑יו , ‘ā·lāw וּפָֽקַדְתִּי֙ I will visit [destruction] ū·p̄ā·qaḏ·tî עַל־ on ‘al- מִזְבְּח֣וֹת the altars miz·bə·ḥō·wṯ בֵּֽית־ of bêṯ- אֵ֔ל Bethel ; ’êl קַרְנ֣וֹת the horns qar·nō·wṯ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ of the altar ham·miz·bê·aḥ וְנִגְדְּעוּ֙ will be cut off , wə·niḡ·də·‘ū וְנָפְל֖וּ and they will fall wə·nā·p̄ə·lū לָאָֽרֶץ׃ to the ground . lā·’ā·reṣ Amos 3:15 וְהִכֵּיתִ֥י I will tear down wə·hik·kê·ṯî הַחֹ֖רֶף the winter ha·ḥō·rep̄ בֵית־ house ḇêṯ- עַל־ along with ‘al- הַקָּ֑יִץ the summer haq·qā·yiṣ בֵּ֣ית house ; bêṯ בָּתֵּ֣י the houses bāt·tê הַשֵּׁ֗ן of ivory haš·šên וְאָבְד֞וּ will also perish , wə·’ā·ḇə·ḏū רַבִּ֖ים and the great rab·bîm בָּתִּ֥ים houses bāt·tîm וְסָפ֛וּ will come to an end , ” wə·sā·p̄ū נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃ס YHWH . Yah·weh Amos 4:1 שִׁמְע֞וּ Hear šim·‘ū הַזֶּ֗ה this haz·zeh הַדָּבָ֣ר word , had·dā·ḇār פָּר֤וֹת you cows pā·rō·wṯ הַבָּשָׁן֙ of Bashan hab·bā·šān אֲשֶׁר֙ - ’ă·šer בְּהַ֣ר on Mount bə·har שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹן Samaria , šō·mə·rō·wn הָעֹשְׁק֣וֹת you women who oppress hā·‘ō·šə·qō·wṯ דַּלִּ֔ים the poor dal·lîm הָרֹצְצ֖וֹת and crush hā·rō·ṣə·ṣō·wṯ אֶבְיוֹנִ֑ים the needy , ’eḇ·yō·w·nîm הָאֹמְרֹ֥ת who say hā·’ō·mə·rōṯ לַאֲדֹֽנֵיהֶ֖ם to your husbands , la·’ă·ḏō·nê·hem הָבִ֥יאָה “ Bring us hā·ḇî·’āh וְנִשְׁתֶּֽה׃ more to drink . ” wə·niš·teh Amos 4:2 אֲדֹנָ֤י The Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִה֙ YHWH Yah·weh נִשְׁבַּ֨ע has sworn niš·ba‘ בְּקָדְשׁ֔וֹ by His holiness : bə·qā·ḏə·šōw כִּ֛י . . . kî הִנֵּ֥ה “ Behold , hin·nêh יָמִ֖ים the days yā·mîm בָּאִ֣ים are coming bā·’îm עֲלֵיכֶ֑ם . . . ‘ă·lê·ḵem וְנִשָּׂ֤א when you will be taken away wə·niś·śā אֶתְכֶם֙ - ’eṯ·ḵem בְּצִנּ֔וֹת with hooks , bə·ṣin·nō·wṯ וְאַחֲרִיתְכֶ֖ן and your posterity wə·’a·ḥă·rî·ṯə·ḵen בְּסִיר֥וֹת with bə·sî·rō·wṯ דּוּגָֽה׃ fishhooks . dū·ḡāh Amos 4:3 תֵּצֶ֖אנָה You will go out tê·ṣe·nāh וּפְרָצִ֥ים [through] broken [walls] , ū·p̄ə·rā·ṣîm אִשָּׁ֣ה each one ’iš·šāh נֶגְדָּ֑הּ straight ahead of her , neḡ·dāh וְהִשְׁלַכְתֶּ֥נָה and you will be cast out wə·hiš·laḵ·te·nāh הַהַרְמ֖וֹנָה toward Harmon , ” ha·har·mō·w·nāh נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH .
