אַתֶּ֥ם do you have ’at·tem לִי֙ against Me , lî צֹ֣ר O Tyre , ṣōr וְצִיד֔וֹן Sidon , wə·ṣî·ḏō·wn וְכֹ֖ל and all wə·ḵōl גְּלִיל֣וֹת the regions gə·lî·lō·wṯ פְּלָ֑שֶׁת of Philistia ? pə·lā·šeṯ אַתֶּם֙ Are you ’at·tem מְשַׁלְּמִ֣ים rendering mə·šal·lə·mîm עָלָ֔י against Me ‘ā·lāy הַגְּמ֗וּל a recompense ? hag·gə·mūl וְאִם־ If wə·’im- אַתֶּם֙ you ’at·tem גֹּמְלִ֤ים retaliate gō·mə·lîm עָלַ֔י against Me , ‘ā·lay קַ֣ל I will swiftly qal מְהֵרָ֔ה and speedily mə·hê·rāh אָשִׁ֥יב return ’ā·šîḇ גְּמֻלְכֶ֖ם your recompense gə·mul·ḵem בְּרֹאשְׁכֶֽם׃ upon your heads . bə·rō·šə·ḵem Joel 3:5 אֲשֶׁר־ For ’ă·šer- לְקַחְתֶּ֑ם you took lə·qaḥ·tem כַּסְפִּ֥י My silver kas·pî וּזְהָבִ֖י and gold ū·zə·hā·ḇî הֲבֵאתֶ֖ם and carried off hă·ḇê·ṯem הַטֹּבִ֔ים My finest haṭ·ṭō·ḇîm וּמַֽחֲמַדַּי֙ treasures ū·ma·ḥă·mad·day לְהֵיכְלֵיכֶֽם׃ to your temples . lə·hê·ḵə·lê·ḵem Joel 3:6 מְכַרְתֶּ֖ם You sold mə·ḵar·tem לִבְנֵ֣י . . . liḇ·nê וּבְנֵ֤י the people ū·ḇə·nê יְהוּדָה֙ of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם and Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim וּבְנֵ֣י to the Greeks ū·ḇə·nê הַיְּוָנִ֑ים . . . , hay·yə·wā·nîm לְמַ֥עַן to lə·ma·‘an הַרְחִיקָ֖ם send them far har·ḥî·qām מֵעַ֥ל from mê·‘al גְּבוּלָֽם׃ their homeland . gə·ḇū·lām Joel 3:7 הִנְנִ֣י Behold , hin·nî מְעִירָ֔ם I will rouse them mə·‘î·rām מִן־ from min- הַ֨מָּק֔וֹם the places ham·mā·qō·wm אֲשֶׁר־ to which ’ă·šer- מְכַרְתֶּ֥ם you sold mə·ḵar·tem אֹתָ֖ם them ’ō·ṯām שָׁ֑מָּה . . . ; šām·māh וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֥י I will return wa·hă·ši·ḇō·ṯî גְמֻלְכֶ֖ם your recompense ḡə·mul·ḵem בְּרֹאשְׁכֶֽם׃ upon your heads . bə·rō·šə·ḵem Joel 3:8 וּמָכַרְתִּ֞י I will sell ū·mā·ḵar·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּנֵיכֶ֣ם your sons bə·nê·ḵem וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- בְּנֽוֹתֵיכֶ֗ם and daughters bə·nō·w·ṯê·ḵem בְּיַד֙ into the hands bə·yaḏ בְּנֵ֣י of the people bə·nê יְהוּדָ֔ה of Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh וּמְכָר֥וּם and they will sell them ū·mə·ḵā·rūm לִשְׁבָאיִ֖ם to the Sabeans — liš·ḇā·yim אֶל־ to ’el- רָח֑וֹק a distant rā·ḥō·wq גּ֣וֹי nation . ” gō·w כִּ֥י Indeed , kî יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh דִּבֵּֽר׃ס has spoken . dib·bêr Joel 3:9 קִרְאוּ־ Proclaim qir·’ū- זֹאת֙ this zōṯ בַּגּוֹיִ֔ם among the nations : bag·gō·w·yim קַדְּשׁ֖וּ “ Prepare qad·də·šū מִלְחָמָ֑ה for war ; mil·ḥā·māh הָעִ֙ירוּ֙ rouse hā·‘î·rū הַגִּבּוֹרִ֔ים the mighty men ; hag·gib·bō·w·rîm כֹּ֖ל let all kōl אַנְשֵׁ֥י the men ’an·šê הַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃ of war ham·mil·ḥā·māh יִגְּשׁ֣וּ advance yig·gə·šū יַֽעֲל֔וּ and attack ! ya·‘ă·lū Joel 3:10 כֹּ֤תּוּ Beat kōt·tū אִתֵּיכֶם֙ your plowshares ’it·tê·ḵem לַֽחֲרָב֔וֹת into swords la·ḥă·rā·ḇō·wṯ וּמַזְמְרֹֽתֵיכֶ֖ם and your pruning hooks ū·maz·mə·rō·ṯê·ḵem
