Hosea 14:3 אַשּׁ֣וּר׀ Assyria ’aš·šūr לֹ֣א will not lō יוֹשִׁיעֵ֗נוּ save us , yō·wō·šî·‘ê·nū לֹ֣א nor will we lō נִרְכָּ֔ב ride nir·kāḇ עַל־ on ‘al- סוּס֙ horses . sūs וְלֹא־ We will never again wə·lō- ע֛וֹד . . . ‘ō·wḏ נֹ֥אמַר say , nō·mar אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ ‘ Our gods ! ’ ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū לְמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה to the work lə·ma·‘ă·śêh יָדֵ֑ינוּ of our own hands . yā·ḏê·nū אֲשֶׁר־ For ’ă·šer- בְּךָ֖ in You bə·ḵā יָתֽוֹם׃ the fatherless yā·ṯō·wm יְרֻחַ֥ם find compassion . ” yə·ru·ḥam Hosea 14:4 אֶרְפָּא֙ I will heal ’er·pā מְשׁ֣וּבָתָ֔ם their apostasy ; mə·šū·ḇā·ṯām נְדָבָ֑ה I will freely nə·ḏā·ḇāh אֹהֲבֵ֖ם love them , ’ō·hă·ḇêm כִּ֛י for kî אַפִּ֖י My anger ’ap·pî שָׁ֥ב has turned away šāḇ מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ from them . mim·men·nū Hosea 14:5 אֶהְיֶ֤ה I will be ’eh·yeh כַטַּל֙ like the dew ḵaṭ·ṭal לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל to Israel ; lə·yiś·rā·’êl יִפְרַ֖ח he will blossom yip̄·raḥ כַּשּֽׁוֹשַׁנָּ֑ה like the lily kaš·šō·wō·šan·nāh וְיַ֥ךְ and take wə·yaḵ שָׁרָשָׁ֖יו root šā·rā·šāw כַּלְּבָנֽוֹן׃ like the cedars of Lebanon . kal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn Hosea 14:6 יֹֽנְקוֹתָ֔יו His shoots yō·nə·qō·w·ṯāw יֵֽלְכוּ֙ will sprout , yê·lə·ḵū הוֹד֑וֹ and his splendor hō·w·ḏōw וִיהִ֥י will be wî·hî כַזַּ֖יִת like the olive tree , ḵaz·za·yiṯ וְרֵ֥יחַֽ his fragrance wə·rê·aḥ ל֖וֹ lōw כַּלְּבָנֽוֹן׃ like [the cedars of] Lebanon . kal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn Hosea 14:7 יָשֻׁ֙בוּ֙ They will return yā·šu·ḇū יֹשְׁבֵ֣י and dwell yō·šə·ḇê בְצִלּ֔וֹ in his shade ; ḇə·ṣil·lōw יְחַיּ֥וּ they will grow yə·ḥay·yū דָגָ֖ן grain ḏā·ḡān וְיִפְרְח֣וּ and blossom wə·yip̄·rə·ḥū כַגָּ֑פֶן like the vine . ḵag·gā·p̄en זִכְר֖וֹ His renown will be ziḵ·rōw כְּיֵ֥ין like the wine kə·yên לְבָנֽוֹן׃ס of Lebanon . lə·ḇā·nō·wn Hosea 14:8 אֶפְרַ֕יִם O Ephraim , ’ep̄·ra·yim מַה־ what mah- לִּ֥י have I to do lî ע֖וֹד anymore ‘ō·wḏ לָֽעֲצַבִּ֑ים with idols ? lā·‘ă·ṣab·bîm אֲנִ֧י It is I ’ă·nî עָנִ֣יתִי who answer ‘ā·nî·ṯî וַאֲשׁוּרֶ֗נּוּ and watch over him . wa·’ă·šū·ren·nū אֲנִי֙ I [am] like ’ă·nî רַֽעֲנָ֔ן a flourishing ra·‘ă·nān כִּבְר֣וֹשׁ cypress ; kiḇ·rō·wōš פֶּרְיְךָ֥ your fruit per·yə·ḵā נִמְצָֽא׃ comes nim·ṣā מִמֶּ֖נִּי from Me . mim·men·nî Hosea 14:9 מִ֤י Whoever mî חָכָם֙ is wise , ḥā·ḵām וְיָ֣בֵֽן let him understand wə·yā·ḇên אֵ֔לֶּה these things ; ’êl·leh נָב֖וֹן [whoever] is discerning , nā·ḇō·wn וְיֵֽדָעֵ֑ם let him know them . wə·yê·ḏā·‘êm כִּֽי־ For kî- דַּרְכֵ֣י the ways dar·ḵê יְהוָ֗ה of YHWH Yah·weh יְשָׁרִ֞ים are right , yə·šā·rîm וְצַדִּקִים֙ and the righteous wə·ṣad·di·qîm יֵ֣לְכוּ walk yê·lə·ḵū בָ֔ם in them ḇām וּפֹשְׁעִ֖ים but the rebellious ū·p̄ō·šə·‘îm יִכָּ֥שְׁלוּ stumble yik·kā·šə·lū בָֽם׃ in them . ḇām
