וְאֶחָ֥ד and one wə·’e·ḥāḏ הֵ֖נָּה on the opposite hên·nāh לִשְׂפַ֥ת bank liś·p̄aṯ הַיְאֹֽר׃ . . . . hay·’ōr Daniel 12:6 וַיֹּ֗אמֶר One of them said way·yō·mer לָאִישׁ֙ to the man lā·’îš לְב֣וּשׁ dressed lə·ḇūš הַבַּדִּ֔ים in linen , hab·bad·dîm אֲשֶׁ֥ר who ’ă·šer מִמַּ֖עַל was above mim·ma·‘al לְמֵימֵ֣י the waters lə·mê·mê הַיְאֹ֑ר of the river , hay·’ōr מָתַ֖י “ How long mā·ṯay עַד־ until ‘aḏ- קֵ֥ץ the fulfillment qêṣ הַפְּלָאֽוֹת׃ of these wonders ? ” hap·pə·lā·’ō·wṯ Daniel 12:7 הָאִ֣ישׁ׀ And the man hā·’îš לְב֣וּשׁ dressed lə·ḇūš הַבַּדִּ֗ים in linen , hab·bad·dîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר who ’ă·šer מִמַּעַל֮ was above mim·ma·‘al לְמֵימֵ֣י the waters lə·mê·mê הַיְאֹר֒ of the river , hay·’ōr וַיָּ֨רֶם raised way·yā·rem יְמִינ֤וֹ his right hand yə·mî·nōw וּשְׂמֹאלוֹ֙ and his left hand ū·śə·mō·lōw אֶל־ toward ’el- הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם heaven , haš·šā·ma·yim וָאֶשְׁמַ֞ע and I heard wā·’eš·ma‘ אֶת־ him ’eṯ- וַיִּשָּׁבַ֖ע swear way·yiš·šā·ḇa‘ בְּחֵ֣י by Him who lives bə·ḥê הָעוֹלָ֑ם forever , hā·‘ō·w·lām כִּי֩ saying , kî לְמוֹעֵ֨ד “ It will be for a time , lə·mō·w·‘êḏ מֽוֹעֲדִ֜ים [and] times , mō·w·‘ă·ḏîm וָחֵ֗צִי and half a time . wā·ḥê·ṣî יַד־ When the power yaḏ- קֹ֖דֶשׁ of the holy qō·ḏeš עַם־ people ‘am- וּכְכַלּ֛וֹת has finally been ū·ḵə·ḵal·lō·wṯ נַפֵּ֥ץ shattered , nap·pêṣ כָל־ all ḵāl אֵֽלֶּה׃ these things ’êl·leh תִּכְלֶ֥ינָה will be completed . ” tiḵ·le·nāh Daniel 12:8 וַאֲנִ֥י I wa·’ă·nî שָׁמַ֖עְתִּי heard , šā·ma‘·tî וְלֹ֣א but I did not wə·lō אָבִ֑ין understand . ’ā·ḇîn וָאֹ֣מְרָ֔ה So I asked , wā·’ō·mə·rāh אֲדֹנִ֕י “ My lord , ’ă·ḏō·nî מָ֥ה what māh אַחֲרִ֖ית will be the outcome ’a·ḥă·rîṯ אֵֽלֶּה׃פ of these [things] ? ” ’êl·leh Daniel 12:9 לֵ֣ךְ “ Go on your way , lêḵ דָּנִיֵּ֑אל Daniel , ” dā·nî·yêl וַיֹּ֖אמֶר he replied , way·yō·mer כִּֽי־ “ for kî- הַדְּבָרִ֖ים the words had·də·ḇā·rîm סְתֻמִ֧ים [are] closed up sə·ṯu·mîm וַחֲתֻמִ֛ים and sealed wa·ḥă·ṯu·mîm עַד־ until ‘aḏ- עֵ֥ת the time ‘êṯ קֵֽץ׃ of the end . qêṣ Daniel 12:10 רַבִּ֔ים Many rab·bîm יִ֠תְבָּֽרֲרוּ will be purified , yiṯ·bā·ră·rū וְיִֽתְלַבְּנ֤וּ made spotless , wə·yiṯ·lab·bə·nū וְיִצָּֽרְפוּ֙ and refined , wə·yiṣ·ṣā·rə·p̄ū רְשָׁעִ֔ים but the wicked rə·šā·‘îm וְהִרְשִׁ֣יעוּ will continue to act wickedly . wə·hir·šî·‘ū וְלֹ֥א None wə·lō כָּל־ . . . kāl- רְשָׁעִ֑ים of the wicked rə·šā·‘îm יָבִ֖ינוּ will understand , yā·ḇî·nū וְהַמַּשְׂכִּלִ֖ים but the wise wə·ham·maś·ki·lîm יָבִֽינוּ׃ will understand . yā·ḇî·nū Daniel 12:11 וּמֵעֵת֙ And from the time ū·mê·‘êṯ הַתָּמִ֔יד the daily [sacrifice] hat·tā·mîḏ הוּסַ֣ר is abolished hū·sar שִׁקּ֣וּץ and the abomination šiq·qūṣ שֹׁמֵ֑ם of desolation šō·mêm וְלָתֵ֖ת set up , wə·lā·ṯêṯ
