וּבְאֶ֥בֶן stones , ū·ḇə·’e·ḇen וּבַחֲמֻדֽוֹת׃ and riches . ū·ḇa·ḥă·mu·ḏō·wṯ Daniel 11:39 וְעָשָׂ֞ה He will attack wə·‘ā·śāh לְמִבְצְרֵ֤י the strongest fortresses lə·miḇ·ṣə·rê מָֽעֻזִּים֙ . . . mā·‘uz·zîm עִם־ with ‘im- נֵכָ֔ר the help of a foreign nê·ḵār אֱל֣וֹהַּ god ’ĕ·lō·w·ah יַרְבֶּ֣ה and will greatly yar·beh כָב֑וֹד honor ḵā·ḇō·wḏ אֲשֶׁ֥ר those who ’ă·šer הִכִּיר acknowledge him , hik·kīr וְהִמְשִׁילָם֙ making them rulers wə·him·šî·lām בָּֽרַבִּ֔ים over many bā·rab·bîm יְחַלֵּ֥ק and distributing yə·ḥal·lêq וַאֲדָמָ֖ה the land wa·’ă·ḏā·māh בִּמְחִֽיר׃ for a price . bim·ḥîr Daniel 11:40 וּבְעֵ֣ת At the time ū·ḇə·‘êṯ קֵ֗ץ of the end , qêṣ מֶ֣לֶךְ the king me·leḵ הַנֶּ֔גֶב of the South han·ne·ḡeḇ יִתְנַגַּ֤ח will engage him in battle yiṯ·nag·gaḥ עִמּוֹ֙ . . . , ‘im·mōw מֶ֣לֶךְ but the king me·leḵ הַצָּפ֗וֹן of the North haṣ·ṣā·p̄ō·wn וְיִשְׂתָּעֵ֨ר will storm out wə·yiś·tā·‘êr עָלָ֜יו against him ‘ā·lāw בְּרֶ֙כֶב֙ with chariots , bə·re·ḵeḇ וּבְפָ֣רָשִׁ֔ים horsemen , ū·ḇə·p̄ā·rā·šîm רַבּ֑וֹת and many rab·bō·wṯ וּבָאֳנִיּ֖וֹת ships , ū·ḇā·’o·nî·yō·wṯ וּבָ֥א invading ū·ḇā בַאֲרָצ֖וֹת [many] countries ḇa·’ă·rā·ṣō·wṯ וְעָבָֽר׃ and sweeping through them wə·‘ā·ḇār וְשָׁטַ֥ף like a flood . wə·šā·ṭap̄ Daniel 11:41 וּבָא֙ He will also invade ū·ḇā הַצְּבִ֔י the Beautiful haṣ·ṣə·ḇî בְּאֶ֣רֶץ Land , bə·’e·reṣ וְרַבּ֖וֹת and many [countries] wə·rab·bō·wṯ יִכָּשֵׁ֑לוּ will fall . yik·kā·šê·lū וְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ But these wə·’êl·leh יִמָּלְט֣וּ will be delivered yim·mā·lə·ṭū מִיָּד֔וֹ from his hand : mî·yā·ḏōw אֱד֣וֹם Edom , ’ĕ·ḏō·wm וּמוֹאָ֔ב Moab , ū·mō·w·’āḇ וְרֵאשִׁ֖ית and the leaders wə·rê·šîṯ בְּנֵ֥י of the Ammonites bə·nê עַמּֽוֹן׃ . . . . ‘am·mō·wn Daniel 11:42 וְיִשְׁלַ֥ח He will extend wə·yiš·laḥ יָד֖וֹ his power yā·ḏōw בַּאֲרָצ֑וֹת over [many] countries , ba·’ă·rā·ṣō·wṯ לֹ֥א and not even lō תִהְיֶ֖ה . . . ṯih·yeh וְאֶ֣רֶץ the land wə·’e·reṣ מִצְרַ֔יִם of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim לִפְלֵיטָֽה׃ will escape . lip̄·lê·ṭāh Daniel 11:43 וּמָשַׁ֗ל He will gain control ū·mā·šal בְּמִכְמַנֵּי֙ of the treasures bə·miḵ·man·nê הַזָּהָ֣ב of gold haz·zā·hāḇ וְהַכֶּ֔סֶף and silver wə·hak·ke·sep̄ וּבְכֹ֖ל and over all ū·ḇə·ḵōl חֲמֻד֣וֹת the riches ḥă·mu·ḏō·wṯ מִצְרָ֑יִם of Egypt , miṣ·rā·yim וְלֻבִ֥ים and the Libyans wə·lu·ḇîm וְכֻשִׁ֖ים and Cushites wə·ḵu·šîm בְּמִצְעָדָֽיו׃ will also submit to him . bə·miṣ·‘ā·ḏāw Daniel 11:44 וּשְׁמֻע֣וֹת But news ū·šə·mu·‘ō·wṯ מִמִּזְרָ֖ח from the east mim·miz·rāḥ וּמִצָּפ֑וֹן and the north ū·miṣ·ṣā·p̄ō·wn יְבַהֲלֻ֔הוּ will alarm him , yə·ḇa·hă·lu·hū וְיָצָא֙ and he will go out wə·yā·ṣā גְדֹלָ֔ה with great ḡə·ḏō·lāh בְּחֵמָ֣א fury bə·ḥê·mā לְהַשְׁמִ֥יד to destroy lə·haš·mîḏ רַבִּֽים׃ many rab·bîm וּֽלְהַחֲרִ֖ים and devote them to destruction . ū·lə·ha·ḥă·rîm Daniel 11:45 וְיִטַּע֙ He will pitch wə·yiṭ·ṭa‘ אַפַּדְנ֔וֹ his royal ’ap·paḏ·nōw אָהֳלֶ֣י tents ’ā·ho·le
