Daniel 11:33 וּמַשְׂכִּ֣ילֵי Those with insight ū·maś·kî·lê עָ֔ם . . . ‘ām יָבִ֖ינוּ will instruct yā·ḇî·nū לָֽרַבִּ֑ים many , lā·rab·bîm יָמִֽים׃ though for a time yā·mîm וְנִכְשְׁל֞וּ they will fall wə·niḵ·šə·lū בְּחֶ֧רֶב by sword bə·ḥe·reḇ וּבְלֶהָבָ֛ה or flame , ū·ḇə·le·hā·ḇāh בִּשְׁבִ֥י or be captured biš·ḇî וּבְבִזָּ֖ה or plundered . ū·ḇə·ḇiz·zāh Daniel 11:34 וּבְהִכָּ֣שְׁלָ֔ם Now when they fall , ū·ḇə·hik·kā·šə·lām יֵעָזְר֖וּ they will be granted yê·‘ā·zə·rū מְעָ֑ט a little mə·‘āṭ עֵ֣זֶר help , ‘ê·zer רַבִּ֖ים but many rab·bîm וְנִלְו֧וּ will join wə·nil·wū עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם them ‘ă·lê·hem בַּחֲלַקְלַקּֽוֹת׃ insincerely . ba·ḥă·laq·laq·qō·wṯ Daniel 11:35 וּמִן־ Some of ū·min- הַמַּשְׂכִּילִ֣ים the wise ham·maś·kî·lîm יִכָּֽשְׁל֗וּ will fall , yik·kā·šə·lū לִצְר֥וֹף so that they may be refined liṣ·rō·wp̄ בָּהֶ֛ם , bā·hem וּלְבָרֵ֥ר purified , ū·lə·ḇā·rêr וְלַלְבֵּ֖ן and made spotless wə·lal·bên עַד־ until ‘aḏ- עֵ֣ת the time ‘êṯ קֵ֑ץ of the end , qêṣ כִּי־ for kî- ע֖וֹד it will still ‘ō·wḏ לַמּוֹעֵֽד׃ come at the appointed time . lam·mō·w·‘êḏ Daniel 11:36 הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ Then the king ham·me·leḵ וְעָשָׂ֨ה will do wə·‘ā·śāh כִרְצוֹנ֜וֹ as he pleases ḵir·ṣō·w·nōw וְיִתְרוֹמֵ֤ם and will exalt wə·yiṯ·rō·w·mêm וְיִתְגַּדֵּל֙ and magnify himself wə·yiṯ·gad·dêl עַל־ above ‘al- כָּל־ every kāl- אֵ֔ל god , ’êl יְדַבֵּ֖ר and he will speak yə·ḏab·bêr נִפְלָא֑וֹת monstrous things nip̄·lā·’ō·wṯ וְעַל֙ against wə·‘al אֵ֣ל the God ’êl אֵלִ֔ים of gods . ’ê·lîm וְהִצְלִ֙יחַ֙ He will be successful wə·hiṣ·lî·aḥ עַד־ until ‘aḏ- זַ֔עַם the time of wrath za·‘am כָּ֣לָה is completed , kā·lāh כִּ֥י for kî נֶחֱרָצָ֖ה what has been decreed ne·ḥĕ·rā·ṣāh נֶעֱשָֽׂתָה׃ must be accomplished . ne·‘ĕ·śā·ṯāh Daniel 11:37 לֹ֣א vvv lō יָבִ֔ין He will show no regard yā·ḇîn וְעַל־ for wə·‘al- אֱלֹהֵ֤י the gods ’ĕ·lō·hê אֲבֹתָיו֙ of his fathers , ’ă·ḇō·ṯāw וְעַל־ nor wə·‘al- חֶמְדַּ֥ת for the one desired ḥem·daṯ נָשִׁ֛ים by women , nā·šîm וְעַֽל־ nor wə·‘al- כָּל־ for any kāl- אֱל֖וֹהַּ other god , ’ĕ·lō·w·ah לֹ֣א . . . lō יָבִ֑ין . . . yā·ḇîn כִּ֥י because kî יִתְגַּדָּֽל׃ he will magnify himself yiṯ·gad·dāl עַל־ above ‘al- כֹּ֖ל [them] all . kōl Daniel 11:38 עַל־ And in ‘al- כַּנּ֖וֹ their place , kan·nōw יְכַבֵּ֑ד he will honor yə·ḵab·bêḏ וְלֶאֱלֹ֙הַּ֙ a god wə·le·’ĕ·lō·ah מָֽעֻזִּ֔ים of fortresses — mā·‘uz·zîm וְלֶאֱל֜וֹהַּ a god wə·le·’ĕ·lō·w·ah אֲשֶׁ֧ר - ’ă·šer אֲבֹתָ֗יו his fathers ’ă·ḇō·ṯāw יְכַבֵּ֛ד . . . yə·ḵab·bêḏ לֹא־ did not lō- יְדָעֻ֣הוּ know — yə·ḏā·‘u·hū בְּזָהָ֥ב with gold , bə·zā·hāḇ וּבְכֶ֛סֶף silver , ū·ḇə·ḵe·sep̄ יְקָרָ֖ה precious yə·qā·rāh
