לַֽהּ׃ lah וְשָׁלְטָ֖ן authority to rule . wə·šā·lə·ṭān Daniel 7:7 בָּאתַ֣ר After bā·ṯar דְּנָה֩ this , də·nāh הֲוֵ֜ית as I hă·wêṯ חָזֵ֨ה watched ḥā·zêh בְּחֶזְוֵ֣י in my vision bə·ḥez·wê לֵֽילְיָ֗א in the night , lê·lə·yā וַאֲר֣וּ suddenly wa·’ă·rū רְבִיעָיָה a fourth rə·ḇī·ʿå̄·yå̄h חֵיוָ֣ה beast {appeared} , ḥê·wāh דְּחִילָה֩ [and it was] terrifying — də·ḥî·lāh וְאֵֽימְתָנִ֨י dreadful wə·’ê·mə·ṯā·nî יַתִּ֗ירָא and extremely yat·tî·rā וְתַקִּיפָ֜א strong — wə·ṯaq·qî·p̄ā לַהּ֙ with lah רַבְרְבָ֔ן large raḇ·rə·ḇān פַרְזֶ֥ל iron p̄ar·zel וְשִׁנַּ֨יִן teeth . wə·šin·na·yin דִּֽי־ . . . dî- אָֽכְלָ֣ה It devoured ’ā·ḵə·lāh וּמַדֱּקָ֔ה and crushed ; ū·mad·dĕ·qāh רָפְסָ֑ה then it trampled rā·p̄ə·sāh וְהִ֣יא . . . wə·hî בְּרַגְלַיַּהּ underfoot bə·raḡ·lay·yah וּשְׁאָרָ֖א whatever was left . ū·šə·’ā·rā מְשַׁנְּיָ֗ה It was different mə·šan·nə·yāh מִן־ from min- כָּל־ all kāl- חֵֽיוָתָא֙ the beasts ḥê·wā·ṯā דִּ֣י . . . dî קָֽדָמַ֔יהּ before it , qā·ḏā·mayh עֲשַׂ֖ר and it had ten ‘ă·śar לַֽהּ׃ lah וְקַרְנַ֥יִן horns . wə·qar·na·yin Daniel 7:8 הֲוֵ֜ית While I was hă·wêṯ מִשְׂתַּכַּ֨ל contemplating miś·tak·kal בְּקַרְנַיָּ֗א the horns , bə·qar·nay·yā וַ֠אֲלוּ . . . wa·’ă·lū אָחֳרִ֤י suddenly another ’ā·ḥo·rî קֶ֣רֶן horn , qe·ren זְעֵירָה֙ a little one , zə·‘ê·rāh סִלְקָ֣ת came up sil·qāṯ בֵּינֵיהוֹן among them , bē·nē·hōn וּתְלָ֗ת and three ū·ṯə·lāṯ מִן־ of min- קַדְמָ֣יָתָ֔א the first qaḏ·mā·yā·ṯā קַרְנַיָּא֙ horns qar·nay·yā אֶתְעֲקַרוּ were uprooted ʾɛṯ·ʿă·qa·rū מִן־ before min- קֳדָמַיַּהּ it . qo·ḏå̄·may·yah וַאֲל֨וּ . . . wa·’ă·lū דָ֔א This ḏā בְּקַרְנָא־ horn bə·qar·nā- עַיְנִ֜ין had eyes ‘ay·nîn כְּעַיְנֵ֤י like those kə·‘ay·nê אֲנָשָׁא֙ of a man ’ă·nā·šā וּפֻ֖ם and a mouth ū·p̄um מְמַלִּ֥ל that spoke mə·mal·lil רַבְרְבָֽן׃ words of arrogance . raḇ·rə·ḇān Daniel 7:9 עַ֣ד As ‘aḏ דִּ֤י . . . dî הֲוֵ֗ית I continued hă·wêṯ חָזֵ֣ה to watch , ḥā·zêh כָרְסָוָן֙ thrones ḵā·rə·sā·wān רְמִ֔יו were set in place , rə·mîw וְעַתִּ֥יק and the Ancient wə·‘at·tîq יוֹמִ֖ין of Days yō·w·mîn יְתִ֑ב took His seat . yə·ṯiḇ לְבוּשֵׁ֣הּ׀ His clothing lə·ḇū·šêh חִוָּ֗ר was white ḥiw·wār כִּתְלַ֣ג as snow , kiṯ·laḡ וּשְׂעַ֤ר and the hair ū·śə·‘ar רֵאשֵׁהּ֙ of His head rê·šêh נְקֵ֔א was like pure nə·qê כַּעֲמַ֣ר wool . ka·‘ă·mar כָּרְסְיֵהּ֙ His throne kā·rə·sə·yêh שְׁבִיבִ֣ין was flaming šə·ḇî·ḇîn דִּי־ . . . dî- נ֔וּר with fire , nūr גַּלְגִּלּ֖וֹהִי and its wheels gal·gil·lō·w·hî דָּלִֽק׃ were all ablaze dā·liq נ֥וּר . . . . nūr Daniel 7:10 נְהַ֣ר A river nə·har דִּי־ of dî- נ֗וּר fire nūr נָגֵ֤ד was flowing , nā·ḡêḏ וְנָפֵק֙ coming out wə·nā·p̄êq
