אֶל־ to ’el- חַלְלֵי־ those slain ḥal·lê- חָ֑רֶב by the sword . ḥā·reḇ וּזְרֹע֛וֹ As its allies ū·zə·rō·‘ōw יָשְׁב֥וּ they had lived yā·šə·ḇū בְצִלּ֖וֹ in its shade ḇə·ṣil·lōw בְּת֥וֹךְ among bə·ṯō·wḵ גּוֹיִֽם׃ the nations . gō·w·yim Ezekiel 31:18 אֶל־ ’el- מִ֨י Who mî כָּ֛כָה then kā·ḵāh דָמִ֥יתָ is like you ḏā·mî·ṯā בְּכָב֥וֹד in glory bə·ḵā·ḇō·wḏ וּבְגֹ֖דֶל and greatness ū·ḇə·ḡō·ḏel בַּעֲצֵי־ among the trees ba·‘ă·ṣê- עֵ֑דֶן of Eden ? ‘ê·ḏen וְהוּרַדְתָּ֨ You also will be brought down wə·hū·raḏ·tā תַּחְתִּ֗ית to the depths taḥ·tîṯ אֶ֣רֶץ of the earth ’e·reṣ אֶת־ to be with ’eṯ- עֲצֵי־ the trees ‘ă·ṣê- עֵ֜דֶן of Eden . ‘ê·ḏen אֶל־ . . . ’el- תִּשְׁכַּב֙ You will lie tiš·kaḇ בְּת֨וֹךְ among bə·ṯō·wḵ עֲרֵלִ֤ים the uncircumcised , ‘ă·rê·lîm אֶת־ with ’eṯ- חַלְלֵי־ those slain ḥal·lê- חֶ֔רֶב by the sword . ḥe·reḇ ה֤וּא This hū פַרְעֹה֙ is Pharaoh p̄ar·‘ōh וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl הֲמוֹנֹ֔ה his multitude , hă·mō·nōh נְאֻ֖ם declares nə·’um אֲדֹנָ֥י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִֽה׃ס YHWH . ’” Yah·weh Ezekiel 32:1 וַֽיְהִי֙ way·hî בִּשְׁתֵּ֣י In the twelfth biš·tê עֶשְׂרֵ֣ה . . . ‘eś·rêh שָׁנָ֔ה year , šā·nāh בְּאֶחָ֣ד on the first bə·’e·ḥāḏ לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ day la·ḥō·ḏeš בִּשְׁנֵי־ of the twelfth biš·nê- עָשָׂ֥ר . . . ‘ā·śār חֹ֖דֶשׁ month , ḥō·ḏeš דְבַר־ the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh הָיָ֥ה came hā·yāh אֵלַ֥י to me , ’ê·lay לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying , lê·mōr Ezekiel 32:2 בֶּן־ “ Son ben- אָדָ֗ם of man , ’ā·ḏām שָׂ֤א take up śā קִינָה֙ a lament qî·nāh עַל־ for ‘al- פַּרְעֹ֣ה Pharaoh par·‘ōh מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- מִצְרַ֔יִם of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ and say wə·’ā·mar·tā אֵלָ֔יו to him : ’ê·lāw נִדְמֵ֑יתָ ‘ You are like niḏ·mê·ṯā כְּפִ֥יר a lion kə·p̄îr גּוֹיִ֖ם among the nations ; gō·w·yim וְאַתָּה֙ you wə·’at·tāh כַּתַּנִּ֣ים are like a monster kat·tan·nîm בַּיַּמִּ֔ים in the seas . bay·yam·mîm וַתָּ֣גַח You thrash about wat·tā·ḡaḥ בְּנַהֲרוֹתֶ֗יךָ in your rivers , bə·na·hă·rō·w·ṯe·ḵā וַתִּדְלַח־ churning up wat·tiḏ·laḥ- מַ֙יִם֙ the waters ma·yim בְּרַגְלֶ֔יךָ with your feet bə·raḡ·le·ḵā וַתִּרְפֹּ֖ס and muddying wat·tir·pōs נַהֲרוֹתָֽם׃ the streams . ’ na·hă·rō·w·ṯām Ezekiel 32:3 כֹּ֤ה This is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַר֙ says : ’ā·mar וּפָרַשְׂתִּ֤י ‘ I will spread ū·p̄ā·raś·tî רִשְׁתִּ֔י My net riš·tî עָלֶ֙יךָ֙ over you ‘ā·le·ḵā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בִּקְהַ֖ל with a company biq·hal רַבִּ֑ים of many rab·bîm עַמִּ֣ים peoples , ‘am·mîm וְהֶעֱל֖וּךָ and they will draw you up wə·he·‘ĕ·lū·ḵā בְּחֶרְמִֽי׃ in My net . bə·ḥer·mî
