תֹאמַר֙ . . . ṯō·mar לֵאמֹ֔ר you are to tell lê·mōr לְבֵ֣ית the house lə·ḇêṯ יַעֲקֹ֔ב of Jacob ya·‘ă·qōḇ וְתַגֵּ֖יד and explain wə·ṯag·gêḏ לִבְנֵ֥י to the sons liḇ·nê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel : yiś·rā·’êl Exodus 19:4 אַתֶּ֣ם ‘ You ’at·tem רְאִיתֶ֔ם have seen for yourselves rə·’î·ṯem אֲשֶׁ֥ר what ’ă·šer עָשִׂ֖יתִי I did ‘ā·śî·ṯî לְמִצְרָ֑יִם to Egypt , lə·miṣ·rā·yim וָאֶשָּׂ֤א and how I carried wā·’eś·śā אֶתְכֶם֙ - ’eṯ·ḵem עַל־ you on ‘al- נְשָׁרִ֔ים eagles’ nə·šā·rîm כַּנְפֵ֣י wings kan·p̄ê וָאָבִ֥א and brought wā·’ā·ḇi אֶתְכֶ֖ם you ’eṯ·ḵem אֵלָֽי׃ to Myself . ’ê·lāy Exodus 19:5 וְעַתָּ֗ה Now wə·‘at·tāh אִם־ if ’im- שָׁמ֤וֹעַ you will indeed šā·mō·w·a‘ תִּשְׁמְעוּ֙ obey tiš·mə·‘ū בְּקֹלִ֔י My voice bə·qō·lî וּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֖ם and keep ū·šə·mar·tem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּרִיתִ֑י My covenant , bə·rî·ṯî וִהְיִ֨יתֶם you will be wih·yî·ṯem לִ֤י My lî סְגֻלָּה֙ treasured possession sə·ḡul·lāh מִכָּל־ out of all mik·kāl הָ֣עַמִּ֔ים the nations — hā·‘am·mîm כִּי־ for kî- כָּל־ the whole kāl- הָאָֽרֶץ׃ earth hā·’ā·reṣ לִ֖י is Mine . lî Exodus 19:6 לִ֛י And unto Me lî וְאַתֶּ֧ם you wə·’at·tem תִּהְיוּ־ shall be tih·yū- מַמְלֶ֥כֶת a kingdom mam·le·ḵeṯ כֹּהֲנִ֖ים of priests kō·hă·nîm קָד֑וֹשׁ and a holy qā·ḏō·wōš וְג֣וֹי nation . ’ wə·ḡō·w אֵ֚לֶּה These ’êl·leh הַדְּבָרִ֔ים are the words had·də·ḇā·rîm אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer תְּדַבֵּ֖ר you are to speak tə·ḏab·bêr אֶל־ to ’el- בְּנֵ֥י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ . . . . ” yiś·rā·’êl Exodus 19:7 מֹשֶׁ֔ה So Moses mō·šeh וַיָּבֹ֣א went back way·yā·ḇō וַיִּקְרָ֖א and summoned way·yiq·rā לְזִקְנֵ֣י the elders lə·ziq·nê הָעָ֑ם of the people hā·‘ām וַיָּ֣שֶׂם and set way·yā·śem לִפְנֵיהֶ֗ם before lip̄·nê·hem אֵ֚ת them ’êṯ כָּל־ all kāl- הָאֵ֔לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh הַדְּבָרִ֣ים words had·də·ḇā·rîm אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH Yah·weh צִוָּ֖הוּ had commanded him . ṣiw·wā·hū Exodus 19:8 כָל־ And all ḵāl הָעָ֤ם the people hā·‘ām וַיַּעֲנ֨וּ answered way·ya·‘ă·nū יַחְדָּו֙ together , yaḥ·dāw וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ . . . way·yō·mə·rū נַעֲשֶׂ֑ה “ We will do na·‘ă·śeh כֹּ֛ל everything kōl אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh דִּבֶּ֥ר has spoken . ” dib·ber מֹשֶׁ֛ה So Moses mō·šeh וַיָּ֧שֶׁב brought way·yā·šeḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָעָ֖ם [their] hā·‘ām דִּבְרֵ֥י words diḇ·rê אֶל־ back to ’el- יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH .
