וַאֲנִ֥י I wa·’ă·nî עֲשִׂיתִֽנִי׃ made it myself . ’ ‘ă·śî·ṯi·nî Ezekiel 29:4 וְנָתַתִּ֤י But I will put wə·nā·ṯat·tî חַחִיִּים hooks ḥa·ḥī·yīm בִּלְחָיֶ֔יךָ in your jaws bil·ḥā·ye·ḵā וְהִדְבַּקְתִּ֥י and cause wə·hiḏ·baq·tî דְגַת־ the fish ḏə·ḡaṯ- יְאֹרֶ֖יךָ of your streams yə·’ō·re·ḵā בְּקַשְׂקְשֹׂתֶ֑יךָ to cling to your scales . bə·qaś·qə·śō·ṯe·ḵā וְהַעֲלִיתִ֙יךָ֙ I will haul you up wə·ha·‘ă·lî·ṯî·ḵā מִתּ֣וֹךְ out of mit·tō·wḵ יְאֹרֶ֔יךָ your rivers , yə·’ō·re·ḵā וְאֵת֙ and wə·’êṯ כָּל־ all kāl- דְּגַ֣ת the fish də·ḡaṯ יְאֹרֶ֔יךָ of your streams yə·’ō·re·ḵā תִּדְבָּֽק׃ will cling tiḏ·bāq בְּקַשְׂקְשֹׂתֶ֖יךָ to your scales . bə·qaś·qə·śō·ṯe·ḵā Ezekiel 29:5 וּנְטַשְׁתִּ֣יךָ I will leave ū·nə·ṭaš·tî·ḵā הַמִּדְבָּ֗רָה you in the desert , ham·miḏ·bā·rāh אוֹתְךָ֙ you ’ō·wṯ·ḵā וְאֵת֙ and wə·’êṯ כָּל־ all kāl- דְּגַ֣ת the fish də·ḡaṯ יְאֹרֶ֔יךָ of your streams . yə·’ō·re·ḵā תִּפּ֔וֹל You will fall tip·pō·wl עַל־ on ‘al- פְּנֵ֤י the open pə·nê הַשָּׂדֶה֙ field haś·śā·ḏeh לֹ֥א and will not lō תֵאָסֵ֖ף be taken away ṯê·’ā·sêp̄ וְלֹ֣א . . . wə·lō תִקָּבֵ֑ץ or gathered for burial . ṯiq·qā·ḇêṣ נְתַתִּ֥יךָ I have given you nə·ṯat·tî·ḵā לְאָכְלָֽה׃ as food lə·’āḵ·lāh לְחַיַּ֥ת to the beasts lə·ḥay·yaṯ הָאָ֛רֶץ of the earth hā·’ā·reṣ וּלְע֥וֹף and the birds ū·lə·‘ō·wp̄ הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם of the air . haš·šā·ma·yim Ezekiel 29:6 כָּל־ Then all kāl- יֹשְׁבֵ֣י the people yō·šə·ḇê מִצְרַ֔יִם of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim וְיָֽדְעוּ֙ will know wə·yā·ḏə·‘ū כִּ֖י that kî אֲנִ֣י I ’ă·nî יְהוָ֑ה am YHWH . Yah·weh יַ֧עַן For ya·‘an הֱיוֹתָ֛ם you were only hĕ·yō·w·ṯām מִשְׁעֶ֥נֶת a staff miš·‘e·neṯ קָנֶ֖ה of reeds qā·neh לְבֵ֥ית to the house lə·ḇêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel . yiś·rā·’êl Ezekiel 29:7 בְּתָפְשָׂ֨ם When Israel took hold bə·ṯā·p̄ə·śām בְּךָ֤ of you bə·ḵā בַכַּפְךָ with their hands , ḇak·kap̄·ḵå̄ תֵּר֔וֹץ you splintered , tê·rō·wṣ וּבָקַעְתָּ֥ tearing ū·ḇā·qa‘·tā כָּל־ all kāl- לָהֶ֖ם their lā·hem כָּתֵ֑ף shoulders ; kā·ṯêp̄ וּבְהִֽשָּׁעֲנָ֤ם when they leaned ū·ḇə·hiš·šā·‘ă·nām עָלֶ֙יךָ֙ on you , ‘ā·le·ḵā תִּשָּׁבֵ֔ר you broke , tiš·šā·ḇêr מָתְנָֽיִם׃ס and their backs mā·ṯə·nā·yim וְהַעֲמַדְתָּ֥ were wrenched wə·ha·‘ă·maḏ·tā כָּל־ - kāl- לָהֶ֖ם . lā·hem Ezekiel 29:8 לָכֵ֗ן Therefore lā·ḵên כֹּ֤ה this is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh הִנְנִ֛י . . . hin·nî אָמַר֙ says : ’ā·mar מֵבִ֥יא I will bring mê·ḇî חָ֑רֶב a sword ḥā·reḇ עָלַ֖יִךְ against you ‘ā·la·yiḵ וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י and cut off wə·hiḵ·rat·tî מִמֵּ֖ךְ from you mim·mêḵ אָדָ֥ם man ’ā·ḏām וּבְהֵמָֽה׃ and beast . ū·ḇə·hê·māh Ezekiel 29:9 אֶֽרֶץ־ The land ’e·reṣ- מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim
