הָאָ֔רֶץ the ground hā·’ā·reṣ לְעֵינֵ֖י in the eyes lə·‘ê·nê כָּל־ of all kāl- רֹאֶֽיךָ׃ who saw you . rō·’e·ḵā Ezekiel 28:19 כָּל־ All kāl- בָּֽעַמִּ֔ים the nations bā·‘am·mîm יוֹדְעֶ֙יךָ֙ who know you yō·wḏ·‘e·ḵā שָׁמְמ֖וּ are appalled šā·mə·mū עָלֶ֑יךָ over you . ‘ā·le·ḵā הָיִ֔יתָ You have come hā·yî·ṯā בַּלָּה֣וֹת to a horrible end bal·lā·hō·wṯ וְאֵינְךָ֖ and [will] [be] no more wə·’ê·nə·ḵā עַד־ . . . ‘aḏ- עוֹלָֽם׃פ . . . . ’” ‘ō·w·lām Ezekiel 28:20 דְבַר־ Then the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֥י came way·hî אֵלַ֥י to me , ’ê·lay לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying , lê·mōr Ezekiel 28:21 בֶּן־ “ Son ben- אָדָ֕ם of man , ’ā·ḏām שִׂ֥ים set śîm פָּנֶ֖יךָ your face pā·ne·ḵā אֶל־ against ’el- צִיד֑וֹן Sidon ṣî·ḏō·wn וְהִנָּבֵ֖א and prophesy wə·hin·nā·ḇê עָלֶֽיהָ׃ against her . ‘ā·le·hā Ezekiel 28:22 וְאָמַרְתָּ֗ And you are to declare wə·’ā·mar·tā כֹּ֤ה that this is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַר֙ says : ’ā·mar הִנְנִ֤י ‘ Behold , hin·nî עָלַ֙יִךְ֙ I am against you , ‘ā·la·yiḵ צִיד֔וֹן O Sidon , ṣî·ḏō·wn וְנִכְבַּדְתִּ֖י and I will be glorified wə·niḵ·baḏ·tî בְּתוֹכֵ֑ךְ within you . bə·ṯō·w·ḵêḵ וְֽיָדְע֞וּ They will know wə·yā·ḏə·‘ū כִּֽי־ that kî- אֲנִ֣י I ’ă·nî יְהוָ֗ה am YHWH Yah·weh בַּעֲשׂ֥וֹתִי when I execute ba·‘ă·śō·w·ṯî שְׁפָטִ֖ים judgments šə·p̄ā·ṭîm בָ֛הּ against her ḇāh וְנִקְדַּ֥שְׁתִּי and demonstrate My holiness wə·niq·daš·tî בָֽהּ׃ through her . ḇāh Ezekiel 28:23 וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי־ I will send wə·šil·laḥ·tî- דֶּ֤בֶר a plague de·ḇer בָ֞הּ against her ḇāh וָדָם֙ and shed blood wā·ḏām בְּח֣וּצוֹתֶ֔יהָ in her streets ; bə·ḥū·ṣō·w·ṯe·hā חָלָל֙ the slain ḥā·lāl וְנִפְלַ֤ל will fall wə·nip̄·lal בְּתוֹכָ֔הּ within her , bə·ṯō·w·ḵāh בְּחֶ֥רֶב while the sword bə·ḥe·reḇ עָלֶ֖יהָ is against her ‘ā·le·hā מִסָּבִ֑יב on every side . mis·sā·ḇîḇ וְיָדְע֖וּ Then they will know wə·yā·ḏə·‘ū כִּֽי־ that kî- אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî יְהוָֽה׃ am YHWH . Yah·weh Ezekiel 28:24 לְבֵ֣ית For the people lə·ḇêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl יִהְיֶ֨ה will yih·yeh וְלֹֽא־ no wə·lō- ע֜וֹד longer face ‘ō·wḏ מַמְאִיר֙ a pricking mam·’îr סִלּ֤וֹן brier sil·lō·wn מַכְאִ֔ב or a painful maḵ·’iḇ וְק֣וֹץ thorn wə·qō·wṣ מִכֹּל֙ from all mik·kōl סְבִ֣יבֹתָ֔ם around them sə·ḇî·ḇō·ṯām הַשָּׁאטִ֖ים who treat them with contempt haš·šā·ṭîm אוֹתָ֑ם - . ’ō·w·ṯām וְיָ֣דְע֔וּ Then they will know wə·yā·ḏə·‘ū כִּ֥י that kî אֲנִ֖י I ’ă·nî אֲדֹנָ֥י am the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִֽה׃ס YHWH . ’ Yah·weh
