וּמַלְכֵיהֶם֙ Their kings ū·mal·ḵê·hem שָׂ֣עֲרוּ shudder with fear śā·‘ă·rū שַׂ֔עַר . . . ; śa·‘ar פָּנִֽים׃ their faces pā·nîm רָעֲמ֖וּ are contorted . rā·‘ă·mū Ezekiel 27:36 סֹֽחֲרִים֙ Those who trade sō·ḥă·rîm בָּ֣עַמִּ֔ים among the nations bā·‘am·mîm שָׁרְק֖וּ hiss šā·rə·qū עָלָ֑יִךְ at you ; ‘ā·lā·yiḵ הָיִ֔ית you have come hā·yîṯ בַּלָּה֣וֹת to a horrible end bal·lā·hō·wṯ וְאֵינֵ֖ךְ and will be no more wə·’ê·nêḵ עַד־ . . . ‘aḏ- עוֹלָֽם׃ס . . . . ’” ‘ō·w·lām Ezekiel 28:1 דְבַר־ And the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֥י came way·hî אֵלַ֥י to me , ’ê·lay לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying , lê·mōr Ezekiel 28:2 בֶּן־ “ Son ben- אָדָ֡ם of man , ’ā·ḏām אֱמֹר֩ tell ’ĕ·mōr לִנְגִ֨יד the ruler lin·ḡîḏ צֹ֜ר of Tyre ṣōr כֹּֽה־ that this is what kōh- אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהֹוִ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh יַ֣עַן . . . ya·‘an אָמַ֣ר׀ says : ’ā·mar לִבְּךָ֙ Your heart lib·bə·ḵā גָּבַ֤הּ is proud , gā·ḇah וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ and you have said , wat·tō·mer אָ֔נִי ‘ I ’ā·nî אֵ֣ל am a god ; ’êl יָשַׁ֖בְתִּי I sit yā·šaḇ·tî מוֹשַׁ֧ב in the seat mō·wō·šaḇ אֱלֹהִ֛ים of gods ’ĕ·lō·hîm בְּלֵ֣ב in the heart bə·lêḇ יַמִּ֑ים of the sea . ’ yam·mîm וְאַתָּ֤ה Yet you wə·’at·tāh אָדָם֙ are a man ’ā·ḏām וְֽלֹא־ and not wə·lō- אֵ֔ל a god , ’êl וַתִּתֵּ֥ן though you have regarded wat·tit·tên לִבְּךָ֖ your heart lib·bə·ḵā כְּלֵ֥ב as that kə·lêḇ אֱלֹהִֽים׃ of a god . ’ĕ·lō·hîm Ezekiel 28:3 הִנֵּ֥ה Behold , hin·nêh אַתָּ֖ה you ’at·tāh חָכָ֛ם are wiser ḥā·ḵām מִדָּנִאֵל than Daniel ; mid·då̄·ni·ʾēl כָּל־ . . . kāl- לֹ֥א no lō סָת֖וּם secret sā·ṯūm עֲמָמֽוּךָ׃ is hidden from you ! ‘ă·mā·mū·ḵā Ezekiel 28:4 בְּחָכְמָֽתְךָ֙ By your wisdom bə·ḥā·ḵə·mā·ṯə·ḵā וּבִתְבוּנָ֣תְךָ֔ and understanding ū·ḇiṯ·ḇū·nā·ṯə·ḵā עָשִׂ֥יתָ you have gained ‘ā·śî·ṯā לְּךָ֖ your lə·ḵā חָ֑יִל wealth ḥā·yil וַתַּ֛עַשׂ and amassed wat·ta·‘aś זָהָ֥ב gold zā·hāḇ וָכֶ֖סֶף and silver wā·ḵe·sep̄ בְּאוֹצְרוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ for your treasuries . bə·’ō·wṣ·rō·w·ṯe·ḵā Ezekiel 28:5 בְּרֹ֧ב By your great bə·rōḇ חָכְמָתְךָ֛ skill ḥā·ḵə·mā·ṯə·ḵā בִּרְכֻלָּתְךָ֖ in trading bir·ḵul·lā·ṯə·ḵā הִרְבִּ֣יתָ you have increased hir·bî·ṯā חֵילֶ֑ךָ your wealth , ḥê·le·ḵā לְבָבְךָ֖ but your heart lə·ḇā·ḇə·ḵā וַיִּגְבַּ֥הּ has grown proud way·yiḡ·bah בְּחֵילֶֽךָ׃ס because of [it] . bə·ḥê·le·ḵā Ezekiel 28:6 לָכֵ֕ן Therefore lā·ḵên כֹּ֥ה this is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֑ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֖ר says : ’ā·mar יַ֛עַן Because ya·‘an תִּתְּךָ֥ you regard tit·tə·ḵā
