Ezekiel 27:28 מִגְרֹשֽׁוֹת׃ The countryside miḡ·rō·šō·wṯ יִרְעֲשׁ֖וּ will shake yir·‘ă·šū חֹבְלָ֑יִךְ when your sailors ḥō·ḇə·lā·yiḵ לְק֖וֹל vvv lə·qō·wl זַעֲקַ֣ת cry out . za·‘ă·qaṯ Ezekiel 27:29 כֹּ֚ל All kōl תֹּפְשֵׂ֣י who handle tō·p̄ə·śê מָשׁ֔וֹט the oars mā·šō·wṭ וְֽיָרְד֞וּ will abandon wə·yā·rə·ḏū מֵאָנִיּֽוֹתֵיהֶ֗ם their ships . mē·ʾå̄·nī·yō·ṯē·hɛm מַלָּחִ֕ים The sailors mal·lā·ḥîm כֹּ֖ל and all kōl חֹבְלֵ֣י the captains ḥō·ḇə·lê הַיָּ֑ם of the sea hay·yām יַעֲמֹֽדוּ׃ will stand ya·‘ă·mō·ḏū אֶל־ on ’el- הָאָ֖רֶץ the shore . hā·’ā·reṣ Ezekiel 27:30 וְהִשְׁמִ֤יעוּ They will raise wə·hiš·mî·‘ū בְּקוֹלָ֔ם their voices bə·qō·w·lām עָלַ֙יִךְ֙ for you ‘ā·la·yiḵ וְיִזְעֲק֖וּ and cry out wə·yiz·‘ă·qū מָרָ֑ה bitterly . mā·rāh וְיַעֲל֤וּ They will throw wə·ya·‘ă·lū עָֽפָר֙ dust ‘ā·p̄ār עַל־ on ‘al- רָ֣אשֵׁיהֶ֔ם their heads rā·šê·hem יִתְפַּלָּֽשׁוּ׃ and roll yiṯ·pal·lā·šū בָּאֵ֖פֶר in ashes . bā·’ê·p̄er Ezekiel 27:31 וְהִקְרִ֤יחוּ They will shave their heads wə·hiq·rî·ḥū קָרְחָ֔ה . . . qā·rə·ḥāh אֵלַ֙יִךְ֙ for you ’ê·la·yiḵ וְחָגְר֖וּ and wrap themselves in wə·ḥā·ḡə·rū שַׂקִּ֑ים sackcloth . śaq·qîm וּבָכ֥וּ They will weep ū·ḇā·ḵū אֵלַ֛יִךְ over you ’ê·la·yiḵ בְּמַר־ with anguish bə·mar- נֶ֖פֶשׁ of soul ne·p̄eš מָֽר׃ and bitter mār מִסְפֵּ֥ד mourning . mis·pêḏ Ezekiel 27:32 בְּנִיהֶם֙ As they wail bə·nî·hem וְקוֹנְנ֖וּ and mourn wə·qō·wn·nū עָלָ֑יִךְ over you , ‘ā·lā·yiḵ וְנָשְׂא֨וּ they will take up wə·nā·śə·’ū קִינָ֔ה a lament qî·nāh אֵלַ֤יִךְ for you : ’ê·la·yiḵ מִ֣י ‘ Who mî כְצ֔וֹר was ever like Tyre , ḵə·ṣō·wr כְּדֻמָ֖ה silenced kə·ḏu·māh בְּת֥וֹךְ in the middle bə·ṯō·wḵ הַיָּֽם׃ of the sea ? hay·yām Ezekiel 27:33 עִזְבוֹנַ֙יִךְ֙ When your wares ‘iz·ḇō·w·na·yiḵ בְּצֵ֤את went out bə·ṣêṯ מִיַּמִּ֔ים to sea , mî·yam·mîm הִשְׂבַּ֖עַתְּ you satisfied hiś·ba·‘at רַבִּ֑ים many rab·bîm עַמִּ֣ים nations . ‘am·mîm הֶעֱשַׁ֖רְתְּ You enriched he·‘ĕ·šart מַלְכֵי־ the kings mal·ḵê- אָֽרֶץ׃ of the earth ’ā·reṣ בְּרֹ֤ב with your abundant bə·rōḇ הוֹנַ֙יִךְ֙ wealth hō·w·na·yiḵ וּמַ֣עֲרָבַ֔יִךְ and merchandise . ū·ma·‘ă·rā·ḇa·yiḵ Ezekiel 27:34 עֵ֛ת Now ‘êṯ נִשְׁבֶּ֥רֶת you are shattered niš·be·reṯ מִיַּמִּ֖ים by the seas mî·yam·mîm בְּמַֽעֲמַקֵּי־ in the depths bə·ma·‘ă·maq·qê- מָ֑יִם of the waters ; mā·yim מַעֲרָבֵ֥ךְ your merchandise ma·‘ă·rā·ḇêḵ וְכָל־ . . . wə·ḵāl קְהָלֵ֖ךְ and the people qə·hā·lêḵ בְּתוֹכֵ֥ךְ among you bə·ṯō·w·ḵêḵ נָפָֽלוּ׃ have gone down with you . nā·p̄ā·lū Ezekiel 27:35 כֹּ֚ל All kōl יֹשְׁבֵ֣י the people yō·šə·ḇê הָאִיִּ֔ים of the coastlands hā·’î·yîm שָׁמְמ֖וּ are appalled šā·mə·mū עָלָ֑יִךְ over you . ‘ā·lā·yiḵ
