Ezekiel 20:47 וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙ Say wə·’ā·mar·tā לְיַ֣עַר to the forest lə·ya·‘ar הַנֶּ֔גֶב of the Negev : han·ne·ḡeḇ שְׁמַ֖ע Hear šə·ma‘ דְּבַר־ the word də·ḇar- יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH ! Yah·weh כֹּֽה־ This is what kōh- אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֡ה YHWH Yah·weh הִנְנִ֣י . . . hin·nî אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar מַֽצִּית־ I am about to ignite maṣ·ṣîṯ- בְּךָ֣׀ in you bə·ḵā אֵ֡שׁ a fire , ’êš וְאָכְלָ֣ה and it will devour wə·’ā·ḵə·lāh כָל־ all ḵāl בְךָ֣ your ḇə·ḵā עֵֽץ־ trees , ‘êṣ- לַח֩ both green laḥ וְכָל־ [and] wə·ḵāl יָבֵ֤שׁ dry yā·ḇêš עֵ֨ץ - . ‘êṣ שַׁלְהֶ֔בֶת The blazing šal·he·ḇeṯ לַהֶ֣בֶת flame la·he·ḇeṯ לֹֽא־ will not lō- תִכְבֶּה֙ be quenched , ṯiḵ·beh בָ֥הּ and by it ḇāh כָּל־ every kāl- פָּנִ֖ים face pā·nîm מִנֶּ֥גֶב from south min·ne·ḡeḇ צָפֽוֹנָה׃ to north ṣā·p̄ō·w·nāh וְנִצְרְבוּ־ will be scorched . wə·niṣ·rə·ḇū- Ezekiel 20:48 כָּל־ Then all kāl- בָּשָׂ֔ר people bā·śār וְרָאוּ֙ will see wə·rā·’ū כִּ֛י that kî אֲנִ֥י I , ’ă·nî יְהוָ֖ה YHWH , Yah·weh בִּֽעַרְתִּ֑יהָ have kindled it ; bi·‘ar·tî·hā לֹ֖א it will not lō תִּכְבֶּֽה׃ be quenched . ” tiḵ·beh Ezekiel 20:49 וָאֹמַ֕ר Then I said , wā·’ō·mar אֲהָ֖הּ “ Ah , ’ă·hāh אֲדֹנָ֣י Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֑ה YHWH , Yah·weh הֵ֚מָּה they hêm·māh אֹמְרִ֣ים are saying ’ō·mə·rîm לִ֔י of me , lî הֽוּא׃פ ‘ Is he hū הֲלֹ֛א not hă·lō מְמַשֵּׁ֥ל [just] telling mə·maš·šêl מְשָׁלִ֖ים parables ? ’” mə·šā·lîm Ezekiel 21:1 דְבַר־ And the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֥י came way·hî אֵלַ֥י to me , ’ê·lay לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying , lê·mōr Ezekiel 21:2 בֶּן־ “ Son ben- אָדָ֗ם of man , ’ā·ḏām שִׂ֤ים set śîm פָּנֶ֙יךָ֙ your face pā·ne·ḵā אֶל־ against ’el- יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim וְהַטֵּ֖ף and preach wə·haṭ·ṭêp̄ אֶל־ against ’el- מִקְדָּשִׁ֑ים the sanctuaries . miq·dā·šîm וְהִנָּבֵ֖א Prophesy wə·hin·nā·ḇê אֶל־ against ’el- אַדְמַ֥ת the land ’aḏ·maṯ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel yiś·rā·’êl Ezekiel 21:3 וְאָמַרְתָּ֞ and tell wə·’ā·mar·tā לְאַדְמַ֣ת . . . lə·’aḏ·maṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל [her] yiś·rā·’êl כֹּ֚ה that this is what kōh יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh הִנְנִ֣י . . . hin·nî אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar אֵלַ֔יִךְ ‘ I am against you , ’ê·la·yiḵ וְהוֹצֵאתִ֥י and I will draw wə·hō·w·ṣê·ṯî חַרְבִּ֖י My sword ḥar·bî מִתַּעְרָ֑הּ from its sheath mit·ta‘·rāh וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י and cut off wə·hiḵ·rat·tî מִמֵּ֖ךְ from you mim·mêḵ
