אֹמְרִ֗ים they are saying , ’ō·mə·rîm יְהוָה֙ ‘ YHWH Yah·weh אֵ֤ין does not ’ên רֹאֶ֣ה see rō·’eh אֹתָ֔נוּ us ; ’ō·ṯā·nū יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh עָזַ֥ב has forsaken ‘ā·zaḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the land . ’” hā·’ā·reṣ Ezekiel 8:13 ע֣וֹד Again , ‘ō·wḏ תָּשׁ֥וּב . . . tā·šūḇ וַיֹּ֖אמֶר He told way·yō·mer אֵלָ֑י me , ’ê·lāy תִּרְאֶ֛ה “ You will see tir·’eh אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- הֵ֥מָּה them hêm·māh עֹשִֽׂים׃ committing ‘ō·śîm גְּדֹל֖וֹת even greater gə·ḏō·lō·wṯ תּוֹעֵב֥וֹת abominations . ” tō·w·‘ê·ḇō·wṯ Ezekiel 8:14 וַיָּבֵ֣א Then He brought way·yā·ḇê אֹתִ֗י me ’ō·ṯî אֶל־ to ’el- פֶּ֙תַח֙ the entrance pe·ṯaḥ הַצָּפ֑וֹנָה of the north haṣ·ṣā·p̄ō·w·nāh שַׁ֣עַר gate ša·‘ar בֵּית־ of the house bêṯ- יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֲשֶׁ֖ר - ’ă·šer אֶל־ - , ’el- וְהִנֵּה־ and I saw wə·hin·nêh- הַנָּשִׁ֣ים women han·nā·šîm יֹֽשְׁב֔וֹת sitting yō·šə·ḇō·wṯ שָׁם֙ there , šām מְבַכּ֖וֹת weeping mə·ḇak·kō·wṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַתַּמּֽוּז׃ס for Tammuz . hat·tam·mūz Ezekiel 8:15 בֶן־ “ Son ḇen- אָדָ֑ם of man , ” ’ā·ḏām וַיֹּ֥אמֶר He said way·yō·mer אֵלַ֖י to me , ’ê·lay הֲרָאִ֣יתָ “ do you see [this] ? hă·rā·’î·ṯā ע֣וֹד Yet ‘ō·wḏ תָּשׁ֥וּב . . . tā·šūḇ תִּרְאֶ֛ה you will see tir·’eh גְּדֹל֖וֹת even greater gə·ḏō·lō·wṯ תּוֹעֵב֥וֹת abominations tō·w·‘ê·ḇō·wṯ מֵאֵֽלֶּה׃ than these . ” mê·’êl·leh Ezekiel 8:16 וַיָּבֵ֣א So He brought way·yā·ḇê אֹתִ֗י me ’ō·ṯî אֶל־ to ’el- הַפְּנִימִית֒ the inner hap·pə·nî·mîṯ חֲצַ֣ר court ḥă·ṣar בֵּית־ of the house bêṯ- יְהוָה֮ of YHWH , Yah·weh וְהִנֵּה־ and there wə·hin·nêh- פֶ֜תַח at the entrance p̄e·ṯaḥ הֵיכַ֣ל to the temple hê·ḵal יְהוָ֗ה of YHWH , Yah·weh בֵּ֤ין between bên הָֽאוּלָם֙ the portico hā·’ū·lām וּבֵ֣ין and ū·ḇên הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ the altar , ham·miz·bê·aḥ כְּעֶשְׂרִ֥ים were about twenty-five kə·‘eś·rîm וַחֲמִשָּׁ֖ה . . . wa·ḥă·miš·šāh אִ֑ישׁ men ’îš אֲחֹ֨רֵיהֶ֜ם with their backs ’ă·ḥō·rê·hem אֶל־ to ’el- הֵיכַ֤ל the temple hê·ḵal יְהוָה֙ of YHWH Yah·weh וּפְנֵיהֶ֣ם and their faces ū·p̄ə·nê·hem קֵ֔דְמָה toward the east ; qê·ḏə·māh וְהֵ֛מָּה and they wə·hêm·māh קֵ֖דְמָה were bowing to the east qê·ḏə·māh מִשְׁתַּחֲוִיתֶ֥ם in worship miš·ta·ḥă·wî·ṯem לַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃ of the sun . laš·šā·meš Ezekiel 8:17 בֶן־ “ Son ḇen- אָדָם֒ of man , ” ’ā·ḏām וַיֹּ֣אמֶר He said way·yō·mer אֵלַי֮ to me , ’ê·lay הֲרָאִ֣יתָ “ do you see this ? hă·rā·’î·ṯā הֲנָקֵל֙ Is it not enough hă·nā·qêl לְבֵ֣ית for the house lə·ḇêṯ יְהוּדָ֔ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh מֵעֲשׂ֕וֹת to commit mê·‘ă·śō·wṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ-
