תִּרְפֶּ֑ינָה will go limp , tir·pe·nāh וְכָל־ and every wə·ḵāl בִּרְכַּ֖יִם knee bir·ka·yim תֵּלַ֥כְנָה will turn to tê·laḵ·nāh מָּֽיִם׃ water . mā·yim Ezekiel 7:18 וְחָגְר֣וּ They will put on wə·ḥā·ḡə·rū שַׂקִּ֔ים sackcloth , śaq·qîm פַּלָּצ֑וּת and terror pal·lā·ṣūṯ וְאֶ֤ל . . . wə·’el וְכִסְּתָ֥ה will overwhelm them . wə·ḵis·sə·ṯāh אוֹתָ֖ם - ’ō·w·ṯām בּוּשָׁ֔ה Shame bū·šāh כָּל־ will cover all kāl- פָּנִים֙ their faces , pā·nîm וּבְכָל־ and all ū·ḇə·ḵāl רָאשֵׁיהֶ֖ם their heads rā·šê·hem קָרְחָֽה׃ will be shaved . qā·rə·ḥāh Ezekiel 7:19 יַשְׁלִ֗יכוּ They will throw yaš·lî·ḵū כַּסְפָּ֞ם their silver kas·pām בַּחוּצ֣וֹת into the streets , ba·ḥū·ṣō·wṯ וּזְהָבָם֮ and their gold ū·zə·hā·ḇām יִֽהְיֶה֒ will seem yih·yeh לְנִדָּ֣ה unclean . lə·nid·dāh כַּסְפָּ֨ם Their silver kas·pām וּזְהָבָ֜ם and gold ū·zə·hā·ḇām לֹֽא־ cannot lō- יוּכַ֣ל . . . yū·ḵal לְהַצִּילָ֗ם save them lə·haṣ·ṣî·lām בְּיוֹם֙ in the day bə·yō·wm עֶבְרַ֣ת of the wrath ‘eḇ·raṯ יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH . Yah·weh לֹ֣א They cannot lō יְשַׂבֵּ֔עוּ satisfy yə·śab·bê·‘ū נַפְשָׁם֙ their appetites nap̄·šām יְמַלֵּ֑אוּ or fill yə·mal·lê·’ū וּמֵעֵיהֶ֖ם their stomachs with [wealth] , ū·mê·‘ê·hem לֹ֣א . . . lō כִּֽי־ for kî- הָיָֽה׃ it became hā·yāh מִכְשׁ֥וֹל the stumbling block miḵ·šō·wl עֲוֺנָ֖ם that brought their iniquity . ‘ă·wō·nām Ezekiel 7:20 וּצְבִ֤י His beautiful ū·ṣə·ḇî עֶדְיוֹ֙ ornaments ‘eḏ·yōw שָׂמָ֔הוּ they transformed śā·mā·hū לְגָא֣וֹן into pride lə·ḡā·’ō·wn ב֑וֹ and used them ḇōw עָ֣שׂוּ to fashion ‘ā·śū תוֹעֲבֹתָ֛ם their vile ṯō·w·‘ă·ḇō·ṯām וְצַלְמֵ֧י images wə·ṣal·mê שִׁקּוּצֵיהֶ֖ם and detestable idols . šiq·qū·ṣê·hem עַל־ Therefore ‘al- כֵּ֛ן . . . kên נְתַתִּ֥יו I will make these nə·ṯat·tîw לְנִדָּֽה׃ into something unclean lə·nid·dāh לָהֶ֖ם for them . lā·hem Ezekiel 7:21 וּנְתַתִּ֤יו And I will hand these things over ū·nə·ṯat·tîw בְּיַֽד־ . . . bə·yaḏ- לָבַ֔ז as plunder lā·ḇaz הַזָּרִים֙ to foreigners haz·zā·rîm לְשָׁלָ֑ל and loot lə·šā·lāl וּלְרִשְׁעֵ֥י to the wicked ū·lə·riš·‘ê הָאָ֖רֶץ of the earth , hā·’ā·reṣ וְחִלְּלֻהָ׃ who will defile them . wə·ḥil·lə·lu·hå̄ Ezekiel 7:22 וַהֲסִבּוֹתִ֤י I will turn wa·hă·sib·bō·w·ṯî פָנַי֙ My face p̄ā·nay מֵהֶ֔ם away from them , mê·hem וְחִלְּל֖וּ and they will defile wə·ḥil·lə·lū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- צְפוּנִ֑י My treasured place . ṣə·p̄ū·nî פָּרִיצִ֖ים Violent men pā·rî·ṣîm וּבָאוּ־ will enter ū·ḇā·’ū- בָ֥הּ it , ḇāh וְחִלְּלֽוּהָ׃פ and they will defile it . wə·ḥil·lə·lū·hā Ezekiel 7:23 עֲשֵׂ֖ה Forge ‘ă·śêh הָֽרַתּ֑וֹק the chain , hā·rat·tō·wq כִּ֣י for kî הָאָ֗רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ מָֽלְאָה֙ is full mā·lə·’āh מִשְׁפַּ֣ט of crimes miš·paṭ דָּמִ֔ים of bloodshed , dā·mîm וְהָעִ֖יר and the city wə·hā·‘îr מָלְאָ֥ה is full mā·lə·’āh
