עָשִׂ֑יתָ have caused it . ‘ā·śî·ṯā הֵבֵ֥אתָ May You bring hê·ḇê·ṯā יוֹם־ the day yō·wm- קָרָ֖אתָ You have announced , qā·rā·ṯā וְיִֽהְי֥וּ so that they may become wə·yih·yū כָמֽוֹנִי׃ס like me . ḵā·mō·w·nî Lamentations 1:22 כָל־ Let all ḵāl רָעָתָ֤ם their wickedness rā·‘ā·ṯām תָּבֹ֨א come tā·ḇō לְפָנֶ֙יךָ֙ before You , lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā וְעוֹלֵ֣ל and deal wə·‘ō·w·lêl לָ֔מוֹ with them lā·mōw כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר as ka·’ă·šer עוֹלַ֛לְתָּ You have dealt ‘ō·w·lal·tā לִ֖י with me lî עַ֣ל because of ‘al כָּל־ all kāl- פְּשָׁעָ֑י my transgressions . pə·šā·‘āy כִּֽי־ For kî- אַנְחֹתַ֖י my groans ’an·ḥō·ṯay רַבּ֥וֹת are many , rab·bō·wṯ וְלִבִּ֥י and my heart wə·lib·bî דַוָּֽי׃פ is faint . ḏaw·wāy Lamentations 2:1 אֵיכָה֩ How ’ê·ḵāh אֲדֹנָי֙ the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יָעִ֨יב has covered yā·‘îḇ בַּת־ the Daughter baṯ- צִיּ֔וֹן of Zion ṣî·yō·wn בְּאַפּ֤וֹ׀ with the cloud of His anger ! bə·’ap·pōw הִשְׁלִ֤יךְ He has cast hiš·lîḵ תִּפְאֶ֖רֶת the glory tip̄·’e·reṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl מִשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ from heaven miš·šā·ma·yim אֶ֔רֶץ to earth . ’e·reṣ וְלֹא־ He has abandoned wə·lō- זָכַ֥ר . . . zā·ḵar הֲדֹם־ His footstool hă·ḏōm- רַגְלָ֖יו . . . raḡ·lāw בְּי֥וֹם in the day bə·yō·wm אַפּֽוֹ׃ס of His anger . ’ap·pōw Lamentations 2:2 לֹא Without lō חָמַ֗ל pity ḥā·mal אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ אֲדֹנָ֜י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy בִּלַּ֨ע has swallowed up bil·la‘ כָּל־ all kāl- נְא֣וֹת the dwellings nə·’ō·wṯ יַעֲקֹ֔ב of Jacob . ya·‘ă·qōḇ בְּעֶבְרָת֛וֹ In His wrath bə·‘eḇ·rā·ṯōw הָרַ֧ס He has demolished hā·ras מִבְצְרֵ֥י the fortified cities miḇ·ṣə·rê בַת־ of the Daughter ḇaṯ- יְהוּדָ֖ה of Judah . yə·hū·ḏāh הִגִּ֣יעַ He brought hig·gî·a‘ לָאָ֑רֶץ to the ground lā·’ā·reṣ חִלֵּ֥ל and defiled ḥil·lêl מַמְלָכָ֖ה her kingdom mam·lā·ḵāh וְשָׂרֶֽיהָ׃ס and its princes . wə·śā·re·hā Lamentations 2:3 בָּֽחֳרִי In fierce bå̄·ḥo·rī אַ֗ף anger ’ap̄ גָּדַ֣ע He has cut off gā·ḏa‘ כֹּ֚ל every kōl קֶ֣רֶן horn qe·ren יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl הֵשִׁ֥יב [and] withdrawn hê·šîḇ אָח֛וֹר . . . ’ā·ḥō·wr יְמִינ֖וֹ His right hand yə·mî·nōw מִפְּנֵ֣י at the approach mip·pə·nê אוֹיֵ֑ב of the enemy . ’ō·w·yêḇ וַיִּבְעַ֤ר He has burned way·yiḇ·‘ar בְּיַעֲקֹב֙ in Jacob bə·ya·‘ă·qōḇ לֶֽהָבָ֔ה like a flaming le·hā·ḇāh כְּאֵ֣שׁ fire kə·’êš אָכְלָ֖ה that consumes ’ā·ḵə·lāh סָבִֽיב׃ס everything around it . sā·ḇîḇ Lamentations 2:4 דָּרַ֨ךְ He has bent dā·raḵ קַשְׁתּ֜וֹ His bow qaš·tōw כְּאוֹיֵ֗ב like an enemy ; kə·’ō·w·yêḇ יְמִינוֹ֙ His right hand yə·mî·nōw נִצָּ֤ב is positioned . niṣ·ṣāḇ כְּצָ֔ר Like a foe kə·ṣār וַֽיַּהֲרֹ֔ג He has killed way·ya·hă·rōḡ כֹּ֖ל all kōl מַחֲמַדֵּי־ who were pleasing ma·ḥă·mad·dê-
