מִקְצֵה־ from the ends miq·ṣêh- אָ֑רֶץ of the earth . ’ā·reṣ עָשָׂ֔ה He generates ‘ā·śāh בְּרָקִ֤ים the lightning bə·rā·qîm לַמָּטָר֙ with the rain lam·mā·ṭār וַיֹּ֥צֵא and brings forth way·yō·ṣê ר֖וּחַ the wind rū·aḥ מֵאֹצְרֹתָֽיו׃ from His storehouses . mê·’ō·ṣə·rō·ṯāw Jeremiah 51:17 כָּל־ Every kāl- אָדָם֙ man ’ā·ḏām נִבְעַ֤ר is senseless niḇ·‘ar מִדַּ֔עַת and devoid of knowledge ; mid·da·‘aṯ כָּל־ every kāl- צֹרֵ֖ף goldsmith ṣō·rêp̄ הֹבִ֥ישׁ is put to shame hō·ḇîš מִפָּ֑סֶל by his idols . mip·pā·sel כִּ֛י For kî נִסְכּ֖וֹ his molten images nis·kōw שֶׁ֥קֶר are a fraud , še·qer וְלֹא־ and [there is] no wə·lō- ר֥וּחַ breath rū·aḥ בָּֽם׃ in them . bām Jeremiah 51:18 הֵ֔מָּה They hêm·māh הֶ֣בֶל are worthless , he·ḇel מַעֲשֵׂ֖ה a work ma·‘ă·śêh תַּעְתֻּעִ֑ים to be mocked . ta‘·tu·‘îm בְּעֵ֥ת In the time bə·‘êṯ פְּקֻדָּתָ֖ם of their punishment pə·qud·dā·ṯām יֹאבֵֽדוּ׃ they will perish . yō·ḇê·ḏū Jeremiah 51:19 חֵ֣לֶק The Portion ḥê·leq יַעֲק֗וֹב of Jacob ya·‘ă·qō·wḇ לֹֽא־ is not lō- כְאֵ֜לֶּה like these , ḵə·’êl·leh כִּֽי־ for kî- ה֔וּא He hū יוֹצֵ֤ר is the Maker yō·w·ṣêr הַכֹּל֙ of all things , hak·kōl וְשֵׁ֖בֶט and of the tribe wə·šê·ḇeṭ נַחֲלָת֑וֹ of His inheritance — na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֖וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ שְׁמֽוֹ׃ס is His name . šə·mōw Jeremiah 51:20 אַתָּ֣ה “ You [are] ’at·tāh לִ֔י My lî מַפֵּץ־ war club , map·pêṣ- כְּלֵ֖י My weapon kə·lê מִלְחָמָ֑ה for battle . mil·ḥā·māh בְךָ֙ With you ḇə·ḵā וְנִפַּצְתִּ֤י I shatter wə·nip·paṣ·tî גּוֹיִ֔ם nations ; gō·w·yim מַמְלָכֽוֹת׃ with you I bring kingdoms mam·lā·ḵō·wṯ וְהִשְׁחַתִּ֥י to ruin . wə·hiš·ḥat·tî בְךָ֖ ḇə·ḵā Jeremiah 51:21 בְךָ֔ With you ḇə·ḵā וְנִפַּצְתִּ֣י I shatter wə·nip·paṣ·tî ס֖וּס the horse sūs וְרֹֽכְב֑וֹ and rider ; wə·rō·ḵə·ḇōw בְךָ֔ with you ḇə·ḵā וְנִפַּצְתִּ֣י I shatter wə·nip·paṣ·tî רֶ֖כֶב the chariot re·ḵeḇ וְרֹכְבֽוֹ׃ and driver . wə·rō·ḵə·ḇōw Jeremiah 51:22 בְךָ֙ With you ḇə·ḵā וְנִפַּצְתִּ֤י I shatter wə·nip·paṣ·tî אִ֣ישׁ man ’îš וְאִשָּׁ֔ה and woman ; wə·’iš·šāh בְךָ֖ with you ḇə·ḵā וְנִפַּצְתִּ֥י I shatter wə·nip·paṣ·tî זָקֵ֣ן the old man zā·qên וָנָ֑עַר and the youth ; wā·nā·‘ar בְךָ֔ with you ḇə·ḵā וְנִפַּצְתִּ֣י I shatter wə·nip·paṣ·tî בָּח֖וּר the young man bā·ḥūr וּבְתוּלָֽה׃ and the maiden . ū·ḇə·ṯū·lāh Jeremiah 51:23 בְךָ֙ With you ḇə·ḵā וְנִפַּצְתִּ֤י I shatter wə·nip·paṣ·tî רֹעֶ֣ה the shepherd rō·‘eh וְעֶדְר֔וֹ and his flock ; wə·‘eḏ·rōw בְךָ֖ with you ḇə·ḵā וְנִפַּצְתִּ֥י I shatter wə·nip·paṣ·tî
