גֵּאֶ֣ה pride gê·’eh גָּבְה֧וֹ [and] conceit , gā·ḇə·hōw וּגְאוֹנ֛וֹ his proud ū·ḡə·’ō·w·nōw וְגַאֲוָת֖וֹ arrogance wə·ḡa·’ă·wā·ṯōw וְרֻ֥ם and haughtiness wə·rum לִבּֽוֹ׃ of heart . lib·bōw Jeremiah 48:30 אֲנִ֤י I ’ă·nî יָדַ֙עְתִּי֙ know yā·ḏa‘·tî עֶבְרָת֖וֹ his insolence , ” ‘eḇ·rā·ṯōw נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh וְלֹא־ “ but it is futile wə·lō- כֵ֑ן . . . . ḵên בַּדָּ֖יו His boasting bad·dāw לֹא־ is as empty lō- כֵ֥ן as ḵên עָשֽׂוּ׃ his deeds . ‘ā·śū Jeremiah 48:31 עַל־ Therefore ‘al- כֵּן֙ . . . kên אֲיֵלִ֔יל I will wail ’ă·yê·lîl עַל־ for ‘al- מוֹאָ֣ב Moab ; mō·w·’āḇ אֶזְעָ֑ק I will cry out ’ez·‘āq כֻּלֹּ֖ה for all kul·lōh וּלְמוֹאָ֥ב of Moab ; ū·lə·mō·w·’āḇ יֶהְגֶּֽה׃ I will moan yeh·geh אֶל־ for ’el- אַנְשֵׁ֥י the men ’an·šê קִֽיר־ vvv qîr- חֶ֖רֶשׂ of Kir-heres . ḥe·reś Jeremiah 48:32 אֶבְכֶּה־ I will weep ’eḇ·keh- לָּךְ֙ for you , lāḵ הַגֶּ֣פֶן O vine hag·ge·p̄en שִׂבְמָ֔ה of Sibmah , śiḇ·māh מִבְּכִ֨י more than I weep mib·bə·ḵî יַעְזֵ֤ר for Jazer . ya‘·zêr נְטִֽישֹׁתַ֙יִךְ֙ Your tendrils nə·ṭî·šō·ṯa·yiḵ עָ֣בְרוּ have extended ‘ā·ḇə·rū יָ֔ם to the sea ; yām נָגָ֑עוּ they reach nā·ḡā·‘ū עַ֛ד [even] to ‘aḏ יָ֥ם - yām יַעְזֵ֖ר Jazer . ya‘·zêr שֹׁדֵ֥ד The destroyer šō·ḏêḏ נָפָֽל׃ has descended nā·p̄āl עַל־ on ‘al- קֵיצֵ֥ךְ your summer fruit qê·ṣêḵ וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- בְּצִירֵ֖ךְ and grape harvest . bə·ṣî·rêḵ Jeremiah 48:33 שִׂמְחָ֥ה Joy śim·ḥāh וָגִ֛יל and gladness wā·ḡîl וְנֶאֶסְפָ֨ה are removed wə·ne·’es·p̄āh מִכַּרְמֶ֖ל from the orchard mik·kar·mel וּמֵאֶ֣רֶץ and from the fields ū·mê·’e·reṣ מוֹאָ֑ב of Moab . mō·w·’āḇ הִשְׁבַּ֔תִּי I have stopped hiš·bat·tî וְיַ֙יִן֙ the flow of wine wə·ya·yin מִיקָבִ֣ים from the presses ; mî·qā·ḇîm לֹֽא־ no one lō- יִדְרֹ֣ךְ treads them yiḏ·rōḵ הֵידָ֔ד with shouts of joy ; hê·ḏāḏ הֵידָ֖ד their shouts hê·ḏāḏ לֹ֥א are not lō הֵידָֽד׃ for joy . hê·ḏāḏ Jeremiah 48:34 מִזַּעֲקַ֨ת There is a cry miz·za·‘ă·qaṯ חֶשְׁבּ֜וֹן from Heshbon ḥeš·bō·wn עַד־ to ‘aḏ- אֶלְעָלֵ֗ה Elealeh ; ’el·‘ā·lêh נָתְנ֣וּ they raise nā·ṯə·nū קוֹלָ֔ם their voices qō·w·lām עַד־ to ‘aḏ- יַ֙הַץ֙ Jahaz , ya·haṣ מִצֹּ֙עַר֙ from Zoar miṣ·ṣō·‘ar עַד־ to ‘aḏ- חֹ֣רֹנַ֔יִם Horonaim ḥō·rō·na·yim עֶגְלַ֖ת and Eglath-shelishiyah ‘eḡ·laṯ שְׁלִֽשִׁיָּ֑ה . . . ; šə·li·šî·yāh כִּ֚י for kî גַּם־ even gam- מֵ֣י the waters mê נִמְרִ֔ים of Nimrim nim·rîm יִהְיֽוּ׃ vvv yih·yū לִמְשַׁמּ֖וֹת have dried up . lim·šam·mō·wṯ
