אֱלֹהֵ֤י God ’ĕ·lō·hê צְבָאוֹת֙ of Hosts , ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl אָמַ֨ר says : ’ā·mar הִנְנִ֧י ‘ Behold , hin·nî מֵבִ֣יא I will bring mê·ḇî אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוּדָ֗ה Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וְאֶ֤ל and to wə·’el כָּל־ all kāl- יֽוֹשְׁבֵי֙ the residents yō·wō·šə·ḇê יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם of Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ כָּל־ all kāl- הָ֣רָעָ֔ה the disaster hā·rā·‘āh אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי I have pronounced dib·bar·tî עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם against them , ‘ă·lê·hem יַ֣עַן because ya·‘an דִּבַּ֤רְתִּי I have spoken dib·bar·tî אֲלֵיהֶם֙ to them ’ă·lê·hem וְלֹ֣א but they have not wə·lō שָׁמֵ֔עוּ obeyed , šā·mê·‘ū וָאֶקְרָ֥א and I have called wā·’eq·rā לָהֶ֖ם to them lā·hem וְלֹ֥א but they have not wə·lō עָנֽוּ׃ answered . ’” ‘ā·nū Jeremiah 35:18 יִרְמְיָ֗הוּ Then Jeremiah yir·mə·yā·hū אָמַ֣ר said ’ā·mar וּלְבֵ֨ית to the house ū·lə·ḇêṯ הָרֵכָבִ֜ים of the Rechabites : hā·rê·ḵā·ḇîm כֹּֽה־ “ This is what kōh- יְהוָ֤ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָאוֹת֙ of Hosts , ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl אָמַ֞ר says : ’ā·mar יַ֚עַן ‘ Because ya·‘an אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer שְׁמַעְתֶּ֔ם you have obeyed šə·ma‘·tem עַל־ . . . ‘al- מִצְוַ֖ת the command miṣ·waṯ אֲבִיכֶ֑ם of your forefather ’ă·ḇî·ḵem יְהוֹנָדָ֣ב Jonadab yə·hō·w·nā·ḏāḇ וַֽתִּשְׁמְרוּ֙ and have kept wat·tiš·mə·rū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- מִצְוֺתָ֔יו his commandments miṣ·wō·ṯāw וַֽתַּעֲשׂ֔וּ and have done wat·ta·‘ă·śū כְּכֹ֥ל all kə·ḵōl אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- צִוָּ֖ה he charged you to do , ṣiw·wāh אֶתְכֶֽם׃ס - ’eṯ·ḵem Jeremiah 35:19 לָכֵ֗ן - lā·ḵên כֹּ֥ה this is what kōh יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֖וֹת of Hosts , ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl אָמַ֛ר says : ’ā·mar לְיוֹנָדָ֧ב Jonadab lə·yō·w·nā·ḏāḇ בֶּן־ son ben- רֵכָ֛ב of Rechab rê·ḵāḇ לֹֽא־ will never lō- כָּל־ . . . kāl- יִכָּרֵ֨ת fail to have yik·kā·rêṯ אִ֜ישׁ a man ’îš הַיָּמִֽים׃פ . . . hay·yā·mîm עֹמֵ֥ד to stand ‘ō·mêḏ לְפָנַ֖י before Me . ’” lə·p̄ā·nay Jeremiah 36:1 הָרְבִיעִ֔ת In the fourth hā·rə·ḇî·‘iṯ בַּשָּׁנָ֣ה year baš·šā·nāh לִיהוֹיָקִ֥ים of Jehoiakim lî·hō·w·yā·qîm בֶּן־ son ben- יֹאשִׁיָּ֖הוּ of Josiah yō·šî·yā·hū מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ יְהוּדָ֑ה of Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh הָיָ֞ה . . . hā·yāh הַזֶּה֙ this haz·zeh הַדָּבָ֤ר word had·dā·ḇār וַֽיְהִי֙ came way·hî אֶֽל־ to ’el- יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ Jeremiah yir·mə·yā·hū מֵאֵ֥ת - mê·’êṯ יְהוָ֖ה from YHWH Yah·weh לֵאמֹֽר׃ : lê·mōr Jeremiah 36:2 קַח־ “ Take qaḥ-
