וּבְיָ֤ד hand ū·ḇə·yāḏ נְטוּיָ֔ה and an outstretched nə·ṭū·yāh וּבְאֶזְר֣וֹעַ arm , ū·ḇə·’ez·rō·w·a‘ גָּדֽוֹל׃ and with great gā·ḏō·wl וּבְמוֹרָ֖א terror . ū·ḇə·mō·w·rā Jeremiah 32:22 וַתִּתֵּ֤ן You gave wat·tit·tên לָהֶם֙ them lā·hem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַזֹּ֔את this haz·zōṯ הָאָ֣רֶץ land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- נִשְׁבַּ֥עְתָּ You had sworn niš·ba‘·tā לָתֵ֣ת to give lā·ṯêṯ לָהֶ֑ם lā·hem לַאֲבוֹתָ֖ם their fathers , la·’ă·ḇō·w·ṯām אֶ֛רֶץ a land ’e·reṣ זָבַ֥ת flowing zā·ḇaṯ חָלָ֖ב with milk ḥā·lāḇ וּדְבָֽשׁ׃ and honey . ū·ḏə·ḇāš Jeremiah 32:23 וַיָּבֹ֜אוּ They came in way·yā·ḇō·’ū וַיִּֽרְשׁ֣וּ and possessed it , way·yir·šū אֹתָ֗הּ - ’ō·ṯāh וְלֹֽא־ but they did not wə·lō- שָׁמְע֤וּ obey šā·mə·‘ū בְקוֹלֶ֙ךָ֙ Your voice ḇə·qō·w·le·ḵā הָלָ֔כוּ or walk hā·lā·ḵū אֵת֩ - ’êṯ וּבְתֹרוֹתֶךָ in Your law . ū·ḇə·ṯō·rō·ṯɛ·ḵå̄ לֹא־ They failed lō- לַעֲשׂ֖וֹת to perform la·‘ă·śō·wṯ לֹ֣א . . . lō כָּל־ all kāl- אֲשֶׁ֨ר that ’ă·šer צִוִּ֧יתָה You commanded ṣiw·wî·ṯāh לָהֶ֛ם them lā·hem עָשׂ֑וּ to do , ‘ā·śū וַתַּקְרֵ֣א and so You have brought wat·taq·rê אֹתָ֔ם upon them ’ō·ṯām אֵ֥ת ’êṯ כָּל־ all kāl- הַזֹּֽאת׃ this haz·zōṯ הָרָעָ֖ה disaster . hā·rā·‘āh Jeremiah 32:24 הִנֵּ֣ה See how hin·nêh הַסֹּלְל֗וֹת the siege ramps has·sō·lə·lō·wṯ בָּ֣אוּ are mounted bā·’ū הָעִיר֮ against the city hā·‘îr לְלָכְדָהּ֒ to capture it . lə·lā·ḵə·ḏāh מִפְּנֵ֛י And by mip·pə·nê הַחֶ֥רֶב sword ha·ḥe·reḇ וְהָרָעָ֖ב and famine wə·hā·rā·‘āḇ וְהַדָּ֑בֶר and plague , wə·had·dā·ḇer וְהָעִ֣יר the city wə·hā·‘îr נִתְּנָ֗ה has been given nit·tə·nāh בְּיַ֤ד into the hands bə·yaḏ הַכַּשְׂדִּים֙ of the Chaldeans hak·kaś·dîm הַנִּלְחָמִ֣ים who are fighting han·nil·ḥā·mîm עָלֶ֔יהָ against it . ‘ā·le·hā וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר What wa·’ă·šer דִּבַּ֛רְתָּ You have spoken dib·bar·tā הָיָ֖ה has happened , hā·yāh וְהִנְּךָ֥ as You wə·hin·nə·ḵā רֹאֶֽה׃ now see ! rō·’eh Jeremiah 32:25 וְאַתָּ֞ה Yet You , wə·’at·tāh אֲדֹנָ֣י O Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh אָמַ֤רְתָּ have said ’ā·mar·tā אֵלַי֙ to me , ’ê·lay קְנֵֽה־ ‘ Buy qə·nêh- לְךָ֧ for yourself lə·ḵā הַשָּׂדֶ֛ה the field haś·śā·ḏeh בַּכֶּ֖סֶף with silver bak·ke·sep̄ וְהָעֵ֣ד and call in wə·hā·‘êḏ עֵדִ֑ים witnesses , ‘ê·ḏîm וְהָעִ֥יר even though the city wə·hā·‘îr נִתְּנָ֖ה has been delivered nit·tə·nāh בְּיַ֥ד into the hands bə·yaḏ הַכַּשְׂדִּֽים׃ of the Chaldeans ! ’” hak·kaś·dîm Jeremiah 32:26 דְּבַר־ Then the word də·ḇar- יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִי֙ came way·hî אֶֽל־ to ’el- יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ Jeremiah yir·mə·yā·hū לֵאמֹֽר׃ . . . : lê·mōr
