Jeremiah 31:10 שִׁמְע֤וּ Hear , šim·‘ū גּוֹיִ֔ם O nations , gō·w·yim דְבַר־ the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָה֙ of YHWH , Yah·weh וְהַגִּ֥ידוּ and proclaim it wə·hag·gî·ḏū מִמֶּרְחָ֑ק in distant mim·mer·ḥāq בָאִיִּ֖ים coastlands ḇā·’î·yîm וְאִמְר֗וּ - : wə·’im·rū מְזָרֵ֤ה “ The One who scattered mə·zā·rêh יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ Israel yiś·rā·’êl יְקַבְּצֶ֔נּוּ will gather them yə·qab·bə·ṣen·nū וּשְׁמָר֖וֹ and keep them ū·šə·mā·rōw כְּרֹעֶ֥ה as a shepherd kə·rō·‘eh עֶדְרֽוֹ׃ [keeps] his flock . ‘eḏ·rōw Jeremiah 31:11 כִּֽי־ For kî- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- פָדָ֥ה has ransomed p̄ā·ḏāh יַעֲקֹ֑ב Jacob ya·‘ă·qōḇ וּגְאָל֕וֹ and redeemed him ū·ḡə·’ā·lōw מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ from mim·men·nū מִיַּ֖ד the hand mî·yaḏ חָזָ֥ק that had overpowered him . ḥā·zāq Jeremiah 31:12 וּבָאוּ֮ They will come ū·ḇā·’ū וְרִנְּנ֣וּ and shout for joy wə·rin·nə·nū בִמְרוֹם־ on the heights ḇim·rō·wm- צִיּוֹן֒ of Zion ; ṣî·yō·wn וְנָהֲר֞וּ they will be radiant wə·nā·hă·rū אֶל־ over ’el- ט֣וּב the bounty ṭūḇ יְהוָ֗ה of YHWH — Yah·weh עַל־ - ‘al- דָּגָן֙ the grain , dā·ḡān תִּירֹ֣שׁ new wine , tî·rōš וְעַל־ and wə·‘al- יִצְהָ֔ר oil , yiṣ·hār וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- וְעַל־ and wə·‘al- בְּנֵי־ the young bə·nê- צֹ֖אן of the flocks ṣōn וּבָקָ֑ר and herds . ū·ḇā·qār נַפְשָׁם֙ Their life nap̄·šām וְהָיְתָ֤ה will be wə·hā·yə·ṯāh רָוֶ֔ה like a well-watered rā·weh כְּגַ֣ן garden , kə·ḡan וְלֹא־ and never wə·lō- יוֹסִ֥יפוּ again yō·w·sî·p̄ū עֽוֹד׃ ‘ō·wḏ לְדַאֲבָ֖ה will they languish . lə·ḏa·’ă·ḇāh Jeremiah 31:13 אָ֣ז Then ’āz בְּתוּלָה֙ the maidens bə·ṯū·lāh תִּשְׂמַ֤ח will rejoice tiś·maḥ בְּמָח֔וֹל with dancing , bə·mā·ḥō·wl וּבַחֻרִ֥ים young men ū·ḇa·ḥu·rîm וּזְקֵנִ֖ים and old ū·zə·qê·nîm יַחְדָּ֑ו as well . yaḥ·dāw וְהָפַכְתִּ֨י I will turn wə·hā·p̄aḵ·tî אֶבְלָ֤ם their mourning ’eḇ·lām לְשָׂשׂוֹן֙ into joy , lə·śā·śō·wn וְנִ֣חַמְתִּ֔ים and give them comfort wə·ni·ḥam·tîm וְשִׂמַּחְתִּ֖ים and joy wə·śim·maḥ·tîm מִיגוֹנָֽם׃ for their sorrow . mî·ḡō·w·nām Jeremiah 31:14 וְרִוֵּיתִ֛י I will fill wə·riw·wê·ṯî נֶ֥פֶשׁ the souls ne·p̄eš הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים of the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm דָּ֑שֶׁן abundantly , dā·šen יִשְׂבָּ֖עוּ and will fill yiś·bā·‘ū וְעַמִּ֛י My people wə·‘am·mî אֶת־ with ’eṯ- טוּבִ֥י My goodness , ” ṭū·ḇî נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃ס YHWH . Yah·weh Jeremiah 31:15 כֹּ֣ה׀ This is what kōh יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar ק֣וֹל “ A voice qō·wl נִשְׁמָע֙ is heard niš·mā‘ בְּרָמָ֤ה in Ramah , bə·rā·māh נְהִי֙ mourning nə·hî תַמְרוּרִ֔ים and great ṯam·rū·rîm בְּכִ֣י weeping , bə·ḵî רָחֵ֖ל Rachel rā·ḥêl מְבַכָּ֣ה weeping mə·ḇak·kāh עַל־ for ‘al-
